We got to work with some gorgeous fairies for our final projects. These beauties will be given out as FREEBIES for anyone who places an order this last week of business. I colored up Daisy Fairy!

I painted the top of the chipboard with white acrylic paint and then topped it with some Star Dust Stickles. Then, I backed it with some yellow paper to make it easier to read. 

I used some fabulous digital paper from Mindy T Designs Studio called Sundrop. The flowers, of course, are from I Am Roses.

My card today features an adorable fairy from Make it Crafty called Fairy Poinsettia, which I paired with Little Toadstools. I love their digital images! They have a huge range of stamps and coloring classes. Definitely worth the moolah! I love combing the beautiful flowers from I Am Roses with my images. They really make a dramatic statement! This scene was colored with Copic Markers.

For this card I used the IAR large butterfly (colored with copics and stickles added), small flowers, and mini leaves. I think I should have went with lighter colors on a smaller butterfly so I might change that out later.

Make it Crafty: GNOMEY PETER

Happy Friday everyone! For those of you who don't know me well, I absolutely LOVE gnomes! One year for my birthday, my hubby went on a search to multiple stores in our area and found me a huge gnome, along with two smaller buddies. He said all the ladies thought he was so awesome carrying these gnomes around the store in search for more, LOL! So when I saw Gnomey Peter, in the Make it Crafty Store, I knew I had to color him up! Isn't he AWESOME?!!

I knew the perfect sentiment to pair with him right from the beginning based on his little attitude. I typed up "Gnomie don't play that!" in MS Word and printed it on white cardstock. I giggle every time I look at this card!

 

 

 I kept my card clean and simple because I wanted him to be the star! I fussy cut Gnomey Peter and raised him on foam tape for extra dimension.

My card today features a cute and adorable girl called CHASING NOVA from Make it Crafty! I love their digital images! They have a huge range of stamps and coloring classes. Definitely worth the moolah! I love combing the beautiful flowers from I Am Roses with my images. They really make a dramatic statement! This image was colored with Copic Markers. 

 

 

I love placing IAR flowers in an arrangement on the corner of my colored image. I usually start with a large flower and then go smaller as I go outwards. I add leaves at the ends and around the big flower.....and BOOM....it's finished! The fabulous paper is from We R Memory Keepers Chalkboard 6x6 Paper Pad. To make it coordinate with my image, I used a Copic RV06 marker to color in the words on the bottom piece of paper and some of the flowers on the top piece of paper.

Make it Crafty: Livana Love Letter

 

Happy Friday everyone! My card today features this adorable gal from Make it Crafty called Livana Love Letter. I love the images from the MiC Store! They have a huge variety so you can find something for pretty much any occasion, and they are so much fun to color!

I tried to do a card that was somewhat Clean and Simple by adding Heart Splatters from Your Next Stamp and a cute sentiment from Mama Elephant Oh Happy Birds. The panel underneath the girl is just ribbon on top of black cardstock.

 

 

To finish it off, I added black rhinestone bling to the corners and raised Livana on foam tape.

Make it Crafty: Marika Loves You

I used some decorative paper from an older paper pad called My Mind's Eye Cupid's Arrow No.14 for the background. Then I placed foam tape behind my image to pop her off the card for added dimension. This card was so easy to put together!

I'm in lovey-dovey mode and already thinking ahead to Valentine's Day so I headed over to Make it Crafty and grabbed this awesome digi stamp called GEEKY LOVE. My husband and I are nerds and kinda weird so this image fit us perfectly, LOL! And, I still get this giddy when he kisses me on the cheek even though we've been together 24 1/2 years. He's my lobster! ("Friends" reference)

I used a Polaroid frame die to crop my image so the focus was on the cheeky kiss. That's one of the great things about digi stamps...you can resize them to fit whatever project you are working on. The papers came from my stash. To finish it off, I added the gorgeous I Am Roses flowers!

Make it Crafty: Fairy Bauble Coloring Class!

Happy Saturday everyone! It’s Rosie here today. I’m always talking about the amazing Coloring Tutorials on the Make it Crafty website and how beneficial they are to improving your coloring skills. I’ve taken the skin and hair ones previously and they are valuable resources! These classes are very affordable and provide so much step-by-step instruction that you will be coloring like a pro in no time. Zoe also started a new site called The Coloring Lab. There is a FREE class on the site now that is fantastic for beginners, but also a great refresher for those who are advanced. It’s definitely worth watching!

I finally tackled the FAIRY BAUBLE CLASS that I mentioned a few weeks ago, and it was a lot of fun! You can purchase the class now, and make this amazing card over the weekend to surprise someone special. I turned it into a card, but I think this would also look amazing framed! I didn’t list the colors below because they are part of the class, so be sure to sign up and color up this cutie this weekend!

I changed up her hair color from the class, and also used a teal blue combo for her wings and shirt. But that’s the great thing about coloring with any medium. If you don’t have the colors listed for the class, just use a different combo from the markers you have.

I love the different techniques taught in this class especially the bokeh background effect.

I'm working on Christmas cards right now so I headed over to Make it Crafty and scoped out the Christmas section. I decided to merge 3 different images together to create this wintry scene featuring Rudolf Reindeer, Rocky, and Scruffy! That's the awesome thing with digital stamps. I Am Roses September Challenge: ANYTHING GOES!

  

 

It's the 15th of the month so you know what that means....a new ANYTHING GOES Challenge! The rules are still the same, and we have 4 prizes up for grabs!

Make it Crafty: Carlie with Giraffe!
