See that rainbow background? It was so easy to make with the new Spotty Dotty Background stamp coming out on Thursday. I used an old-school stamp technique. I inked up the rubber with Versamark Ink, and then stamped it on a 6x6 piece of white paper. Next I used Q-tips and rubbed them in chalk and then rubbed it over my paper to make a rainbow. Pretty easy and simple to do! Next I cut out my rainbow scene with the Squares #1 Metal Die. I stamped the sentiment from the new Lucky Rainbow Sentiments and added grass using the Make A Card #13 Metal Die.

Products from the C.C. Designs Store:
Roberto's Rascals Leprechaun Rubber Stamp
Spotty Dotty Rubber Stamp
Lucky Rainbow Sentiments Clear Stamp
C.C. Designs Squares #1 Metal Die
C.C. Designs Make A Card #13 Metal Die
C.C. Designs Little Man Enamel Dots

To see all the amazing cards for all 3 Preview Days, head over to the C.C. Designs Blog! And don't forget, our Blog Hop starts on Thursday!

Have an awesome Wednesday!

SugarPea Designs Guest Designer: FAIRY SWEET

Happy Monday everyone! For the month of January I'm guesting for another favorite company I love called SugarPea Designs! Their stamps and dies are so much fun!! Do you want a chance to be one of their Guest Designers? Then head over HERE and check out how to enter their Guest DT Call!!

Today, I'm showcasing this adorable set called Fairy Sweet. I love making girlie cards probably because I have a son, haha! Pink and sparkle just call to me. I colored this sweet girl with Copic Markers and then added Wink of Stella Glitter Marker all over her outfit.

Copics:
Skin: E000, E50, E51, E21, E11, E04
Hair: E71, E77, E79
Pink: RV02, RV04, RV06, RV09
Wings: BG10, BG72
White: N0, N2, Colorless Blender
Yellow: Y02, YR21, YR23
Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Marker

The outer edge of the image got a sprinkle of Shabby Pink Frantage. My tip of the day….use a toaster to heat emboss the Frantage Embossing Enamel. It keeps the stuff from flying everywhere. And once you sprinkle it on, you can move it off her hair and face if you see anything loose on there before holding over the toaster. I used the scalloped frame in the Birthday Journal Card SugarCut to cut out the pink paper framing my image.

Thanks for joining me for the month of January as I guested for SugarPea Designs! I had an amazing time coloring their fabulous stamps!! Thank you Wendy and Stephanie for this awesome opportunity!!

Now be sure to head over to the SugarPea Designs Store to check out all of the awesome stamps and dies that need to be a part of your collection. If you are looking for amazing inspiration, be sure to check out the SugarPea Designs Blog

I'll be back on the 30th with one last project!

The Greeting Farm: LITTLE PARTY!

Happy Tuesday everyone! On the 15th, The Greeting Farm released 3 new stamp sets, and they are available in the store for purchase. There is also a New Release Blog Hop going on right now where one lucky winner will get to take home all 3 sets!! You have until Friday the 20th to visit all of the DT's blogs and leave your comments. Good Luck!

Today, I made a card featuring these adorable gals from the Little Party set. This stamp set also has coordinating dies available for purchase so you don't have to hand cut anything.

Ahhh! Look at all those sweet friends just ready to celebrate! The added accessories are so much fun to play with! There are endless combinations for creating scenes and decorating for the party.

I stamped 3 of the girls on Copic Paper and colored them with my Copic Markers.

Copics:
Skin: E000, E50, E51, E21, E11, E13, E04
Hair: E71, E77, E79
Pink: RV02, RV04, RV06, RV09

I kept my card pretty clean and simple. The awesome sentiments are from the Get It Girl Clear Stamp Set...LOVE them!! I just inked them up directly from the plastic they were stuck to so I could keep the same alignment. Then I added a black frame around it. I stamped the word "girl" separately, cut it out, added a black mat, and raised it on pop dots.

Now, we sure to head to The Greeting Farm Store to snatch up all the newbies. I'll be back tomorrow to showcase the "Hi Anya" set.

The awesome sentiments are from the same Take Note Set. My papers are from Echo Park I Love My Family and my ribbon is from Walmart.

7 Kids College Fund Challenge: ANYTHING GOES!

Happy Wednesday everyone! Today starts a new monthly challenge on the 7 Kids College Fund Challenge Blog

The theme is: ANYTHING GOES!!

Since Valentine's Day is coming up, I decided to make a sock cupcake as a teacher gift. I used a stamp from one of my favorite stamp companies called Docrafts Gorjuss Collector Mini Stamp. I stamped her on Cryogen White Cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored her with Copics. I used the Lawn Fawn Stitched Heart Lawn Cut to make the "be mine" tag.

Supplies from 7 Kids College Fund Store:

Here it is all wrapped up. I found the little cup holder, heart pick, foam heart stickers, and cellophane baggie in the Valentine section of Walmart.

Now head on over to the 7 Kids College Fund Challenge Blog to play along with us so you can win a $20 Gift Certificate to the store.

Have a great rest of the week my friends!

LDRS Creative: LOVE THAT DRESS Altered Frame

Happy Wednesday everyone! I'm back today sharing one of my favorite projects using this gorgeous stamp from All Dressed Up called Love That Dress. She's stamped on Cryogen White Cardstock, and colored with Copic Markers.

Copics:
Skin: E51, E11, E13, E15
Hair: C3, C7, Black
Blue: BG10, BG72, BG75, BG78
Black: C3, C5, C7, C9
Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Marker

I LOVE altering these cheap, square wood frames from Walmart. They really make awesome gifts! I found this gorgeous decorative digital paper on Etsy. I then cut 2x2 squares and 1.25x2 rectangles from the paper to go around the frame. My old corner rounder came in the handy for the corner squares. I then run my paper through my Xyron Sticker Maker so I get them all covered in adhesive in one swipe, haha! EASY PEASY!

I used the Dotted Wings Die Set for the butterflies on the corner squares. The blue flowers were made using a die in the Fancy Squares and Little Things Die Set.The awesome sentiment is from one of my favorite sets called Uptown Sayings. I added elements from the Love That Dress Stamp Set around the sentiment to spruce it up. And of course, you can't be fabulous without some pearls!

I hope you get a chance to make your own altered frame using the amazing stamps, dies, and embossing folders in the LDRS Store!!

Hugs,
Rosie

Do you want a chance to be one of their Guest Deisgners? Then head over HERE and check out how to enter their Guest DT Call!!

Today, I'm using a set called WHISKY BUSINESS! I LOVE to cook and bake so this set had to be a part of collection. I stamped her on X-press It Blending Card and colored her with Copics. To make the plaid, I started off with my lightest green (YG23) and made criss-cross lines. Then I added YR09 for the orange in between the green. Next, I came in with a darker green, YG67, and thinly outlined the light green line. BOOM....you got plaid. :)

Copics:
Skin: E000, E50, E51, E21, E11, E13
Hair: E71, E77, E79
White: N0, N2, Colorless Blender
Green: YG23, YG25, YG67
Shoes: C3, C5, C7
Plaid: YG23, YG67, YR09

The cute digital papers from HuckleberryHearts on Etsy are called Retro Kitchen Baking. The sentiment on the side of the image along with the kitchen tools and measuring cup are from the Whisky Business set. I used a couple of dies from SugarPea Designs to create my card. The plaid rectangle behind my image was cut out using SugarCut Birthday Journal Card. I added the SugarCut Party Banner Duo to the top of my card to finish it off. The green pearls were from my stash.

Now be sure to head over to the SugarPea Designs Store to check out all of the awesome stamps and dies that need to be a part of your collection. If you are looking for amazing inspiration, be sure to check out the SugarPea Designs Blog. The DT is super talented!
