Conie Fong: TWINKLE EMILY

 Happy Thursday friends! My card today features one of my favorite images from Conie Fong called Twinkle Emily. I don't know why, but I'm always inspired to use rainbow colors when I color her up. I think because it just makes me feel happy inside!

I kept the layout simple to keep the focus on Twinkle Emily. I used a white gel pen to add in dots and crosses to create the illusion of sparkle. Then, I added some Wink Of Stella over parts of the image to give it even more sparkle.

I Am Roses + Conie Fong Bella Rose

 Happy Wednesday friends! I'm back today for I Am Roses combining their gorgeous paper flowers with this digital image from Conie Fong called Bella Rose. My son's beautiful girlfriend is Native American and her birthday is coming up in September. I created this card in the likeness of her using pops of red since that's her favorite color.

The large flower is the R43 Peony. It's my favorite style of flowers and I have them in every color! I then added S3 white cherry blossoms, S10 red flowers, extra small S10 white flowers, and tiny green leaves.

Jaded Blossom: S'more Mini Release Showcase Day 2!

 Happy Friday Friends! Today, we are continuing our showcase of the new items that were released earlier this week for the Jaded Blossom S'more Mini Release. You can grab everything NOW! 

Just when I think I can't love a release anymore, Jaded Blossom brings their A-game and now I think this release might be my favorite!! It's all about S'MORES!! For my project today, I created a Girl Gnome Bag Topper for this mini bag of S'mores Jelly Beans along with a coordinating 4x4 mini card. And best of all....it's in pink!

 

My girl gnome was created using the Girl Gnome Die with the new Gnome Dies: S'more Add Ons. She's rocking a pink s'more dress (digital paper) and a coordinating pink s'more hat. I used the XL Topper Die for the bag topper shape. I cut the middle topper panel from blue starry paper and brown cardstock so I could tear the brown paper to make the ground. The tree is from the Build A Christmas Tree Die. Both sentiments are from the new Campfire and S'mores Stamp Set.

To make the 4x4 card, I used the new S'more Stencil along with Brushed Corduroy Distress Oxide Ink for the graham cracker layer, Vintage Photo Distress Ink for the chocolate layer, and Spun Sugar Distress Oxide Ink for the marshmallow layer. I then rubbed the Vintage Photo Distress Ink pad onto an acrylic block, added drops of water, loaded the ink onto a paint brush, and splattered it over the stenciled panel.

Jaded Blossom: S'more Mini Release Showcase Day 1!

 Happy Thursday Friends! Today and tomorrow, we are showcasing the new items that were released earlier this week for the Jaded Blossom S'more Mini Release. You can grab everything NOW! 

Just when I think I can't love a release anymore, Jaded Blossom brings their A-game and now I think this release might be my favorite!! It's all about S'MORES!! We are a big s'more loving family! My son has grown up on popcorn and s'mores for every home movie night. It's a tradition for us. So of course I LOVE everything in this release!

The new S'more Stencil is AMAZING!! It comes with 3 stencils....one for the graham cracker layers, one for the chocolate layer, and one for the marshmallow. I used Brushed Corduroy Distress Oxide Ink for the graham cracker layer, Vintage Photo Distress Ink for the chocolate layer, and Antique Linen Distress Ink for the marshmallow layer.

The images are from the new Kawaii S'mores Stamp Set and cut out with the Outline Dies. I raised the s'more image on an action wobble so it shakes! The sentiment panel is from a digital paper pack off of Etsy.

The Greeting Farm August 2023 Stamp Feature: BOO

 Happy Friday! We are on Day 3 of Stamp Features for the August 2023 New Release at The Greeting Farm. This month, TGF introduced 3 new stamp sets which are all available now for purchase. To round out this release, we have a Halloween set called BOO featuring some of the cutest ghosts ever! This set comes with 13 ghosts and several accessory stamps. I decided to create my own background paper so I could use all the ghosts!

 

Who says Halloween cards have to be black and orange? For this one I went with pink and I totally LOVE it! I stamped all the images on Copic Xpress It Blending Card using Versafine Clair Black and then fussy cut them out. I glued them to the pink cardstock and then stamped the word BOO and the bats around the ghosts.

I am a huge lover of mermaids and this one is gorgeous! She is part of the new set called MERMAID BDAY ANYA, and it includes several accessory stamps to complete the birthday theme. I love to color hair and for this beautiful girl I went with green. 

 

The background is digital paper that I got as a freebie a while back on Creative Fabrica. I fussy cut all the stamped images and added them to the paper to complete this mermaid-licious birthday card.

I found this cute chalkboard frame at the Dollar Tree, and knew it would be the perfect background for this new set from The Greeting Farm called HEY TEACHER. I think these would make perfect teacher gifts! 

 

The sentiment is embossed directly onto the chalkboard area, but you could leave it blank so the recipient is able to write little messages. I bought the wood beads on Amazon and added them to the twine that came with the frame.

 Today, I made something other than a card. I've been on a kick lately altering wood home decor items. I had this plain wood shadow box frame lying around so I decided to make use of it. I painted the frame pink, and inserted paper from Doodlebug Design.

 

 
To step it up a notch, I added gorgeous IAR flowers to both corners. The large flower is the R-43 Peony. I then added S3 white cherry blossoms, S10 pink two tone flowers and extra small S10 white flowers. I bought the pink and white wood beads off of Amazon.
