Conie Fong: CANDY CANE GNOME

Happy Sunday everyone! Okay....I'm starting early with the Christmas cards, LOL! I'm back today featuring this adorable gnome from Conie Fong called Candy Cane Gnome. You can purchase him individually or part of the HOLIDAY GNOMES BUNDLE. Isn't he adorable? I LOVE gnomes and this guy is just too sweet!

I created the scallop border at the top of the card using a MFT Die, candy cane paper and red cardstock. The cute sentiment is from Jaded Blossom Christmas is Gnoming. The gnome is raised on foam tape.

Here is the list of Copics I used to color him.

Copics:

Rachelle Anne Miller: SWEETHEARTS

Happy Sunday friends! Valentine's Day is right around the corner so I decided to create a card that captures the love hubby and I have for each other. He is my college sweetheart and we have been together a total of 27 years and married almost 22 years. I've been with this man more than half my life....which sounds so weird to say. This image from Rachelle Anne Miller called SWEETHEARTS was the perfect image to use for his card.

I used Copic Markers to color this scene. The little speech bubbles came from an older Recollections Valentine's Day 6x6 Paper Pad. The paper was from my stash.

I hope you come join us on the Rachelle Anne Miller Digital Stamps Facebook Group to share your fabulous creations! Be sure to subscribe to her newsletter because she will have special sales throughout the year just for email subscribers!

Remember, the prices in her store are in Australian dollars so if you live in the United States you will pay a lower amount.

Have a great weekend!

I Am Roses + Jaded Blossom Fancy Heart Die

Happy Saturday everyone! Today I'm sharing a card featuring the amazing paper flowers from I Am Roses. I decided to go with a gold theme this time around using an awesome die from Jaded Blossom called Fancy Hearts Die. Isn't it gorgeous? I paired it with a sentiment from the Organ Donor Stamp Set.

The decorative paper is from My Mind's Eye Yes Please 6x6 Paper Pad. I paired it with some gold cardstock I bought at Hobby Lobby. When I used the Fancy Hearts Die on the gold paper, all the pieces stayed attached and I liked it that way. I carefully flipped it over, added a thin layer of glue over the back and adhered a solid black heart to the back so the pieces didn't fall out.

I heat embossed the sentiment using gold embossing powder and then matted it to the gold paper. The sentiment is raised on foam tape for extra dimension. The large rose from I Am Roses is ZR77-S&G Paper Roses. The smaller roses came in a set, but I could not find it in the store. The long leaves are actually Tulip leaves that I colored gold with a paint marker.

Remember, you have until FEBRUARY 8th to link up your project to our current ANYTHING GOES Challenge. Be sure to use a minimum of 3 I Am Roses products on your card to qualify for a prize. I can't wait to see what you make!

Hugs,
Rosie

Jaded Blossom: CUTE LITTLE GNOME Valentine's Day Card

Happy Friday everyone! Jaded Blossom's January Release was all about love! Today, I created this fun Valentine's Day card featuring one of the gnomes and a sentiment from CUTE LITTLE GNOMIE Stamp Set from the new release, along with several Jaded Blossom Dies.

I used the largest rectangle from Scallop Rectangle Dies 1 to create the top card layer. Using the Rainbow Dies, I cut one rainbow from white cardstock and one from the pink/white polka dot paper. I used Copic R37 to color the white rainbow. The white hearts and red heart were created using the negative heart pieces from the Fancy Heart Die.

I first laid all the pieces on the card (without gluing) to get the alignment right. Then I stamped the sentiment. Next, I glued the rainbow arcs and red heart to the white card panel. I colored the gnome with Copics and fussy cut him out. I raised the gnome and clouds on foam tape for extra dimension.

Copics:
Skin: E000, E00, E01, E11, E13
Hair: N2,  N4
Pink: R81, R83, R85, R37
Red: R24, R27, R29, R56, R89
Wings: V12
Boots/Bow: E42, E43, E44

Remember, we have a monthly challenge on the Jaded Blossom Blog. This month the theme is COFFEE. We hope you play along with us for a chance to win a FREE Stamp Set! Be sure to check out the Jaded Blossom Store for all your stamps and gift giving supplies. Dies R Us: Lawn Fawn Lift The Flap Tree Backdrop

Happy Tuesday everyone! It's Rosie here sharing a card I made using Lawn Fawn Dies and Stamps. I love the cuteness factor and versatility of their stamps and dies. They are usually my go-to company when I want to create something adorable. Today, I'm featuring the Lift The Flap Tree Backdrop Die, along with Fairy Friends and Cheery Christmas Stamps.

 Let's get started!

Step 1: I cut the Lift The Flap Tree die from brown cardstock and the Meadow Backdrop from green cardstock. I cut a piece of light blue cardstock for the sky to go behind the brown tree die-cut once I start assembly.

Step 2: I stamped the characters from Fairy Friends and Cheery Christmas on Xpress It Blending Card and colored them with Copic Markers.

Step 3: I traced around the dark brown trees onto light brown cardstock and then trimmed the tree shapes to go behind the dark brown die-cut.

Step 4: As you can see in this photo, I adhered the light brown trees to the die-cut using foam tape.

This is what it looks like from the front.

Step 5: I cut a Meadow Backdrop from green cardstock. I then trimmed off the bottom section to use on my card. The sentiment is from the Fairy Friends Stamp Set.

Step 6: I adhered the green grass panel to the top of the tree panel with additional foam tape.

This is what it looks like once adhered.

Step 7: Next I added foam tape around the edge of the Lift The Flap Tree die-cut and attached the blue sky cardstock.

Step 8: Now comes the fun part...adhering all the characters and flowers to the card front to create a magical forest scene!

Here you can see the cute characters that are hiding inside the tree.

Don't forget to come join in the fun at the
Dies R Us Challenge Blog.  There's a new challenge theme offered on the 1st and 15th of each month, and one lucky randomly drawn winner will receive a gift voucher prize to the Dies R Us Store.  For your convenience, all the important Dies R Us links are provided below.

Now if you're here from Lee-Ann's Blog you're in the right place. If you're just passing through start at the beginning because you don't want to miss a thing. I also have the complete line up at the bottom.

For my project today, I used the Jaded Blossom Crate Die and Treat Tag Die to create a Valentine's Day Gift of Gold Chocolate Hearts. I bought these heart chocolates from Amazon HERE. The heart on the tag is from Kawaii Guts and the sentiment is from Organ Donor. I stamped both onto the tag with Versamark Ink and heat embossed them in Gold. Then I rubbed Picked Raspberry Distress Ink around the edge of the tag. I colored the heart with a gold paint pen and the pink areas with Copics.

I cut each heart from the Fancy Hearts Die and backed one with a light pink heart and the other with a fushia pink heart. Then I stamped the Happy Valentine's Day from Love You Lots with Versamark Ink and heat embossed it in gold. I trimmed the sentiment and rubbed Picked Raspberry Distress Ink around the edge of the paper. I adhered it to the hearts with foam tape.

Claudette, Joni and I will be on The Greeting Farm Blog showcasing the new release if you want to stop by for some more inspiration.

Today, I created a card featuring the brand new MAGIC CASTLE DIE. I decided to go with a pink and purple castle, and I love how it turned out! This die is very intricate with lots of little pieces.
