I'm continuing with my "Penguin for all the holidays" theme, and decided to do another card for St. Patrick's Day before I move on to Easter. To create this adorable guy, I used Gnome Friends: Penguin Die, Gnome Dies: St. Patrick's Day Add Ons (hat), Gnome Dies: Pot Of Gold Add Ons (balloon), and Penguin Faces Stamp Set. The sentiment is from Lucky Charm Stamp Set.

 

  

To add to the whimsy, I added the 4 leaf clover balloon on an action wobble so it shakes, LOL! I just love these adorable penguins!

Jaded Blossom: LET'S GET SHAMROCKED!

Happy Friday everyone! I can't believe today's the last day of February! So what's up next? St. Patrick's Day, and this cutie patootie is ready to get shamrocked! I don't even drink, but I think I need to join this penguin for a few rounds! Maybe that pot of gold will come my way also, haha!

Jaded Blossom products really make creating cute and fun cards easy! To create the penguin, I used Gnome Friends: Penguin Die, Gnome Dies: St. Patrick's Day Add Ons (hat), Gnome Dies: Pot Of Gold Add Ons (shamrock on hat, beer), and Penguin Faces Stamp Set. For the background scene, I used Border Dies 2 (grass area), Rainbow Dies, and Gnome Dies: Pot Of Gold Add Ons (pot of gold, shamrocks on pot). The sentiment is from Lucky Vibes Stamp Set.

Today, I combined the CLOVER CLUSTER Stamp Set and Outline Dies with several of the Gnome Dies to create this whimsical St. Patrick's Day card. Isn't he adorable?! The large gold horseshoe, 4 leaf clovers, and "Good Luck" sentiment are all from the Clover Cluster set.

The grassy knoll was created using the grass die in the Mushroom Dies Set. To create the gnome, I used the following dies: Gnome Dies(body, ears, nose, hands), Gnome Dies 2(hair using mustache die, mustache, beard), Gnome Dies: Leg Add Ons(legs), Gnome Dies: St. Patrick's Day Add Ons(hat and gold clover on hat), and Gnome Dies: Christmas Add Ons 2(shoes).

Jaded Blossom: CLOVER CLUSTER MONTHLY SPOTLIGHT

Happy Friday everyone! It's the first of the month and Jaded Blossom is bringing back the MONTHLY SPOTLIGHT! Every month, Jaded Blossom will pick a product to highlight with a special discount. For the month of March, we are spotlighting the CLOVER CLUSTER Stamp Set and Outline Dies. There is even a bundle deal to purchase both for a bigger discount! 

I love that this set has a large image that works well with embossing. Not only can I create a card quickly without much coloring, but I feel gold embossing is just so special and elegant. I stamped the image and sentiment on green cardstock with Versamark Embossing Ink and used Ranger Superfine Gold Embossing Powder.

After I heat embossed the image and sentiment, I used a gold Posca paint pen to color in some of the areas. Then I added a strip of gold washi tape.

Last year, I gold-embossed this image on watercolor paper and used Zig watercolor markers and a gold paint pen to color in the image.

Jaded Blossom February 2023 New Release BLOG HOP!

 Happy Thursday everyone! Welcome to Jaded Blossom's February 2023 New Release Blog Hop! Now, if you're here from Jamie's Blog, you're in the right place. If you're just passing through start at the beginning because you don't want to miss a thing. I also have the complete line up at the bottom.

  For my project, I created an Octagon Treat Box with a St. Patrick's Day Clover theme. I included several of the new products on this treat box.....Clovers For Sale Stamp Set, Build A Booth: Clover Add Ons, and Gnome Dies: Pot Of Gold Add Ons.

To create the gnome I used the Gnomes Dies with the Gnome Dies: St Patricks Day Add Ons for the hat. The large coin that he is holding is from the new Pot Of Gold Add Ons. I added a bunch of coins sticking out of the Octagon Box, along with coins along the bottom for him to sit on.  

Here is a closeup of the gnome. I get a lot of questions on how I create his face so I'll be doing a tutorial for that on the Jaded Blossom Blog soon.

This month we are focusing on St. Patrick's Day. May the luck of the Irish be with you! For today's card, I stamped the image and sentiment from the new Clover Cluster Stamp Set onto watercolor paper using Ranger super-fine gold embossing powder. Then I used Spectrum Aqua Markers with a paintbrush to color in the image.

To color in the horseshoe, dots, and swirly leaves, I used a gold sparkly pen from Diamond Press. I love the gold and green together!

Today I created a large scene card using the new Build A Booth: Clover Add Ons, Clover Stencil (on the grass area), and a sentiment from Clovers For Sale Stamp Set. I also used the new products featured on Monday. Remember, to create the booth you need to purchase the Build A Booth Die. The add-ons are just the themed accessories to decorate the booth.

 

I love that we can create a standing or jumping gnome with the Gnome Dies: Leg Add Ons. And of course, we need a bunch of beer to celebrate St. Paddy's Day! This scene was a lot of fun to put together.

This month we are focusing on St. Patrick's Day. May the luck of the Irish be with you! We have some new gnome die add-ons which of course make me giddy! I used the new products to create this mini card and tag for some Bailey's Irish Cream and coffee. 

The card was created using the Gnome Dies with the new Gnome Dies: Pot of Gold Add Ons and Gnome Dies: Leg Add Ons. To make the square frame I used the Square Internal Scallops Dies 1. The hat is from Gnome Dies: St Patricks Day Add Ons. The sentiment from the new Lucky Vibes Stamp Set was cut out using the Word Bubble Dies. I used the Scallop Circle Dies to cut the sentiment for the little green cup. The tag was created using the Treat Tag Die, Lucky Vibes Stamps + Outline Dies, and Gnome Dies: Pot of Gold Add Ons.
