Stamping Bella: PENGUIN FAMILY

Happy Wednesday friends! I'm back today for Stamping Bella featuring a digital stamp set called Penguin Family. If you follow me then you know I love penguins just as much as I love unicorns! And this adorable penguin family is having so much fun out in the snow, especially the girl penguin on the left who has rolled her brother up into a snowball, LOL!

 

 

I LOVE that Stamping Bella carries stamps that are complete scenes, because once they are colored up they become the focal point of your card. You really don't need to add anything extra. I placed a black card mat behind the scene, and kept it easy and simple so the image shines on it's own.

The Greeting Farm September 2025 Stamp Feature Day 3: HOLIDAY ANYA 13

Happy Thursday friends! We are on our last day of Stamp Features for the September 2025 New Release at The Greeting Farm. This month, TGF introduced three new stamp sets which are all available now for purchase. Joni and I are on The Greeting Farm Blog this week showcasing the new release. 

Today, my card features HOLIDAY ANYA 13 with Anya all bundled up in a cozy coat ready for wintry adventures with her adorable penguin friend! I stamped multiple penguins so I could have them holding different elements included in the set. Two cheerful sentiments are included to complete your holiday projects. 
Please note: one sentiment contains a small typo, but no worries! You'll receive the corrected version a a downloadable digital file. This set is also discounted in the store because of the error.

It was so much fun coloring up all of these cute penguins! I received the digital file for the corrected sentiment and printed it on white cardstock (2" wide) in the left corner. Then I inked up the white paper with Blue China Distress Oxide Ink. I tore white cardstock to place on the opposite side for snowy land.

Jaded Blossom: JUST SITTING HERE THINKING OF YOU

Happy Friday everyone! This month we had an awesome Bee/Spring Release at Jaded Blossom. I know I say it every time, but I think it was one of my favorite releases of all time! The Tree Swing Die is such a fabulous addition to my collection, and I just had to add a cute penguin! Isn't she the sweetest penguin ever?!!

To create the penguin, I used Gnome Friends: Penguin Die and Penguin Faces Stamp Set. The sentiment is from the Relax Stamp Set.

I'm continuing with my Penguin series, and this month we have Mother's Day quickly approaching. I love that the Gnome Friends: Penguin Die comes with a big penguin and a little penguin. It's the perfect set for both Mother's Day and Father's Day! To create the face on the big penguin, I used Penguin Faces Stamp Set, and then drew in some eyelashes.

The center roses frame with the "Happy Mother's Day" sentiment is from Floral Frame with Outline Die. I used the Stitched Arch Dies to create a backdrop for the sentiment. The paper is from a digital paper pack on Etsy. I raised the sentiment panel and penguins on foam tape for extra dimension.

Jaded Blossom: HAPPY EASTER!

Happy Friday everyone! I've been doing a Penguin for all the Seasons/Holidays series using dies from Jaded Blossom because I love penguins as much as I love gnomes. It's so much fun adding these cute penguins to different scenes. Since Easter is this Sunday, I created an Easter card!

To make the adorable penguin, I used Gnome Friends: Penguin Die and Penguin Faces Stamp Set. The bunny ears headband was created using Gnome Dies: Bride and Groom (headband), and Gnome Dies: Easter Add Ons (ears). The egg is also from Gnome Dies: Easter Add Ons. To create the Easter basket, I used Octagon Treat Box Dies and Octagon Dies: Easter Add Ons. The chocolate bunny is from Octagon Dies: Easter Add Ons. To create the grassy slope, I used Mushroom Dies. The sentiment is from Carrots For Sale Stamp Set.

Who knew penguins were going to be the talk of the town lately, LOL! I decided my little guy needed a much needed vacation so he jetted off to Hawaii for some surfing! To create this card, I used Gnome Friends: Penguin Die, Penguin Faces Stamp Set, Gnome Dies: Beach Add Ons, Circle Internal Scallops Dies 2, and Surf's Up Stamp Set. 

 

I traced a circle onto Copic Xpress It Blending Card and sketched out the wave scene. Then I used Copic Markers and a white gel pen to bring it to life. I definitely pushed myself and there were times I wasn't sure about it. I just kept adding various blue curved lines, lots of layers, and it finally came together.

Jaded Blossom: HANG IN THERE!

Happy Friday everyone! For the last few weeks, I've been doing a Penguin for all the Seasons/Holidays series because I love penguins as much as I love gnomes. It's so much fun adding these cute penguins to different scenes. With Spring right around the corner, I decided to take this little penguin outdoors paragliding! I used the little penguin from Gnome Friends: Penguin Die, and added a cute little bow to her from Gnome Dies: Christmas Add Ons 3.

Did you see DT Cynthia's Tic-Tac-Toe Challenge in the Jaded Blossom's Garden of Creativity Facebook Group? The challenge is to choose 3 elements in a row in honor of the classic game and create a project! There is an album for you to play along. You have until March 20, 2025, 11:59 pm PST to add your card for a chance at winning a prize! 

Well, my card is a double tic-tac-toe! Across the top of the board, I used Die-cuts, Flowers (decorative paper), and a Stencil (clouds using Enchanted Night Sky Stencil). It also fills in the diagonal on the board using Die-cuts, Pastels, and Ribbon. I used the umbrella from Gnome Dies: Weather Add Ons with some thin pink ribbon to create the paraglider. The grassy knoll was created using Mushroom Dies. The sentiment is from the Take It Slow Stamp Set.

To create this adorable guy, I used Gnome Friends: Penguin Die, Gnome Dies: St. Patrick's Day Add Ons (hat), Gnome Dies: Pot Of Gold Add Ons (balloon), and Penguin Faces Stamp Set. The sentiment is from Lucky Charm Stamp Set.

 

  

To add to the whimsy, I added the 4 leaf clover balloon on an action wobble so it shakes, LOL! I just love these adorable penguins!

Jaded Blossom: LET'S GET SHAMROCKED!

Happy Friday everyone! I can't believe today's the last day of February! So what's up next? St. Patrick's Day, and this cutie patootie is ready to get shamrocked! I don't even drink, but I think I need to join this penguin for a few rounds! Maybe that pot of gold will come my way also, haha!

Jaded Blossom December 2024 Release BLOG HOP!

Today, I created a Birthday card with a Vanilla Ice twist to it. I used one of the sentiments from the Penguin Kisses Stamp Set, stamped it twice, and cut it apart so I could have it say: Have an ICE ICE Birthday! Then I made little "TOO COLD" speech bubbles for the snowman and penguin, haha! I used the Ice Cube Stencil with the Build A Booth: Gingerbread House Add Ons to create an igloo. The snowdrifts by the door are from Build A Booth: Winter Add Ons.

The snowflake lamp post and snowman are from the new Street Lamp Die: Winter Add On (you must buy the original Street Lamp Die to get the black post). The small white snowflakes and the penguin's mittens are from the Winter Embellishment Cluster Die. The adorable small penguin is from the Gnome Friends: Penguin Die (you get a large penguin and baby penguin in this die set). I used Border Dies 2 for the snow border along the bottom of the card.

Jaded Blossom December 2024 Release: SNEAK PEEK DAY 1

It's Penguining to look a lot like Christmas! Our gnomes have another friend joining the gang....a PENGUIN! I mean seriously.....how cute is the Gnome Friends: Penguin die set and Penguin Faces stamp set?!! I knew when I saw this release I was going to create a penguin sitting inside an igloo on a cute chair. Her igloo is fancy and even has wood floors, LOL! The awesome sentiment is from the new Penguin Kisses Stamp Set.

I used the new Ice Cube Stencil on white cardstock and then drew an arch to create the shape of the card. I traced the same shape on the card base leaving a hinge at the top. I cut a white strip of paper and scored two lines on it to make the baseboard. I had some wood pattern paper and cut a strip of it for the wood floor. The chair was created using the Chair Die. The mug came from Gnome Dies: Gingerbread Add Ons.
