Stamping Bella: SPARKLE & SWEETNESS DIGITAL STAMP RELEASE!

My card today features Rosie and Bernie the Unicorn Have A Tea Party Digital Stamp. Aren't they adorable?! As you know, I love this entire line of digi stamps! I mean seriously, wouldn't you love to have adventures with your own unicorn?

 

 

I printed the image on Copic Xpress It Blending Card and colored it with Copic Markers. I added a light layer of Distress Oxide Ink around the edges for the grass and sky. The paper is from a digital paper pack I bought off of Etsy.

Stamping Bella: ROSIE AND BERNIE THE UNICORN

Happy Saturday friends! I'm back today with this magical card for Stamping Bella featuring Rosie and Bernie the Unicorn Digital Stamp Set! The entire Rosie and Bernie series of digital stamps is my favorite because my nickname is Rosie and I LOVE unicorns! When this series came out in rubber form years ago, I purchased almost all of them. I even took my own "Bernie" on holiday with us exploring Switzerland, Rome, and Slovenia (see photo below)!

 

I printed the image on Copic Xpress It Blending Card and colored it with Copic Markers. I paper-pieced her dress so it coordinated with the paper at the top of the card. To give Bernie some sparkle, I added Star Dust Stickles to his horn. The stars and dots on Bernie were added using gel pens. I fussy cut the image out with scissors so I could raise it on foam tape. 

 

I printed the sentiment directly to the cardstock. The patterned paper is from an older The Paper Studio paper pad called Cotton Candy and Co (Hobby Lobby). The angled scallop border was created using an old My Favorite Things border die.

 

I'll be coloring up more of Rosie and Bernie over the next several weeks. Like I said, they are some of my fave images!

 

Here is a picture of me, my hubby, my son, and "Bernie" that we took on our 2018 summer trip to Slovenia.

The Greeting Farm February 2023 Stamp Feature Day 2: LITTLE DREAMER

TGIF everyone! We are on Day 2 of Stamp Features for the February 2023 New Release at The Greeting Farm. This month, TGF introduced 3 new stamp sets which are all available now for purchase. Claudette, Joni and I are on The Greeting Farm Blog showcasing the new release. Don't forget about the TGF Blog Hop where 1 lucky person will take home all 3 stamp sets!

This next magical set is called LITTLE DREAMER. It comes with a bunny and cat on a whale of an adventure literally, along with some unicorns! It can be used to create so many different cards. It's a really versatile set. I used the stamps to create a night adventure scene.

 

I stamped the images on Xpress It Blending Card, colored them with Copic Markers, and fussy cut them out. I created the night sky using Distress Oxide Inks. To create the glowy areas around the moon and stars, I just laid the cut out pieces on white watercolor paper and added the ink around them using lighter DO Ink and then adding darker colors as I got further out. I watered down some white acrylic paint and splattered it over the inked card. Then I added the stamped images and cloud die-cut on top. The cloud and unicorns are raised on foam tape.

Here is my card featuring Lee Holland's Warm & Fuzzy Unicorn! Isn't this unicorn the sweetest?! I colored the unicorn scene with Copic Markers.

The circle frame was cut out using dies from the Aztec Sunshine Circle Dies. The paper is from Snowy Skies Slimline Stock Paper Pack.

Jaded Blossom: GNOME HALLOWEEN COSTUME PARTY RELEASE!

 Happy Tuesday everyone! Welcome to Jaded Blossom's Gnome Halloween Costume Party Release! Now, if you're here from Jamie's Blog, you're in the right place. If you're just passing through start at the beginning because you don't want to miss a thing. I also have the complete line up at the bottom.

  For my first  project I created a Medieval scene card using a castle clipart that was part of a digital paper pack I bought off Etsy. I sized the castle 3" tall, printed it and fussy cut it out. I used Distress Oxide Inks and a stencil to create the cloud background and Copic Markers to create the landscape.

I used the Gnome Dies and Girl Gnome Dies to create the gnome bodies. Then I used the Gnome Dies: Halloween Costume Add Ons 1 to create the knight, and the Gnome Dies: Halloween Costume Add Ons 2 to create the princess outfit.

For my 2nd project I created a Unicorn Lollipop Party Favor. I was looking at the Lollipop Die and the circle tab that holds the top part together looked like a gnome nose......sooooooo I did it, LOL! I made it a gnome nose, and added the pigtails and unicorn hat on top of the close tab (aka: nose).

I added sparkle to the gnome hat and unicorn using Wink of Stella clear glitter pen. The sentiment is from the Unicorns and Glitter Stamp Set. 

I found these lollipops at the Dollar Tree that went perfectly with this Unicorn theme!
