For my card today I used Mini Tilda with Christmas Letters. Magnolia stamps always lend themselves well to a vintage style so I had to go way back and pull out my stash! :) My dps are from Authentique LOVELY 6x6 Paper Pad. The edges were distressed with Walnut Stain Distress Ink. Then I sprinkled Stampendous Frantage Taupe Embossing Enamel around the edges. The ribbon and metal corners are from my stash. The pearl swirls are from Recollections.

For my card today I used the super adorable PaperWorks Co. VDay Bunny (by Rachelle Anne Miller). I LOVE her illustrations and her stamps are just as fabulous!! I had so much fun coloring up this cutie and adding Liquid Applique to his tail and to make the clouds.

My dps are from Carta Bella DEVOTED 6x6 paper pad. It's one of my FAVE paper pads ever! The ribbon is from Hobby Lobby. The metal heart charm is from KI Memories (Walmart). The metal corners were originally gold and I painted them silver with a paint pen.

For my card today I used this awesome stamp from Stamping Bella called Yours Truly by Diane Duda.

A Creative Romance Challenge~RIBBON or TWINE!

For my card today I used an awesome DoCrafts stamp called "I Gave You My Heart" from the Gorjuss Girls line of stamps. I LOVE all of them and those that know me know that I am a collector of anything Gorjuss Girl!! I stamped her on X-Press It Blending Card with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored her with COPICS!

The pink polka dot dp and the little circle tag are from a KI 12x12 Color Page Kit. The doily printed dp is from KI "Doilies" 6x6 paper pad. This line is distributed by Hampton Art and I found them both at my local Walmart. The ribbon is from Hobby Lobby. The twine and the gold decorative corner were in my stash. I've been trying out the Stampendous Frantage (Aged Rose) thing on my cards. It's not as easy as it looks that's for sure. Trying to contain the sprinkles to only the outside edge is hard!

A Creative Romance~Our FIRST Challenge~ANYTHING GOES!

Hello Creative Romantics!! At last the day is finally here....we have our first challenge up at A Creative Romance Blog!! All of us on the Design Team have been looking forward to this day! It's an awesome new adventure and I'm so glad to be a part of it with some amazing and talented ladies!!

Not sure if you remember, but in April I put up some awesome blog candy to kick start this new adventure. The winner was announce on May 2nd, but still hasn't come forward to claim the prize. So to get us started on our first challenge, we kept it pretty simple! Our challenge for you over the next two weeks is:

For my card I used a new image called The Way You Move by Diane Duda . Stamping Bella has produced 4 stamps using Diane Duda's images and I LOVE them all!! This one is stamped on X-Press It Blending Card with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored with Copics.

My dps are from Echo Park This & That Graceful. The burlap ribbon is from Hobby Lobby. The flowers are from Prima and my friend Cebelica. The butterflies were cut out using Tim Holtz BUTTERFLIGHT On The Edge Die. I joined the Stampendous FRANTAGE craze and added it to the butterflies. I still haven't found my heat gun so I used my toaster, haha! It actually works really well because there's no air blowing the particles away. You just sprinkle it on and then hold it over the top of the toaster....works perfectly!! The white pearls are from Recollections.
