I decided to try something new and make a watercolor background using Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. I used different colors and just scribbled on some watercolor paper. Then I came in with a water brush and spread the ink around. It was pretty quick and simple....and I LOVE it!

 

 

The sentiment is from Craftin Desert Divas Rainbows and Sunshine Stamp Set. I felt it was a great reminder, not only for me, but for so many right now. Don't let anyone rain on your dreams!

I Am Roses JANUARY 2018 Challenge: ANYTHING GOES

I used one of the dies in My Favorite Things Stitched Oval Scallop Frames for the oval around my image. Sassy Cheryl's Stamps: SMITTEN

 

Happy Monday everyone! I hope you are enjoying the long weekend. We've had a relaxing, chillin at home kind of holiday weekend. It's been nice just to chill and do nothing for a change. I've been on a French Toast kick lately so I'm been making that every morning for the past week, LOL! Now to get back to my low-carb eating. I can definitely tell the difference in how my body reacts to high carb foods.....I'm so tired and sluggish. :(

Since we didn't go out of town for the Labor Day weekend, I was able to do some crafting. I put this card together featuring Smitten from Sassy Cheryl's Stamps. Sassy Cheryl's Stamps: The Bad, Bad, Witch

 

Happy Tuesday everyone! Today, I'm sharing a card using this funny digital stamp from Sassy Cheryl's Stamps called The Bad, Bad Witch. Now, if you happen to be a friend on FB, then you already saw my "Oops" moment! As I was coloring this image, my black Copic marker decided to shoot a huge blob of ink all over the right side of her face. The blob was so big, I had to smear it to the side so it didn't run off the paper onto the table. I was not a happy camper to say the least! But after I posted it, my friends were commenting how her expression totally matched up with the situation. That gave me the giggles because it really does look like she's irritated about that ink on her face, LOL!!

 

 

Everyone said I should have kept on coloring her and used her on something with that blob of ink, but I had already thrown her away. Anyways, I re-colored her and this is the final version. :)
