C.C. Designs May 2020 Release Preview: BEE SWISSIE

Happy Wednesday everyone! Today, I'm previewing another new stamp set coming to the C.C. Designs Store on Thursday at 12pm CST. The May Release is totally going to knock your socks off!! There will be 6 new stamp sets and 3 new die sets...and let me tell you they are AMAZING!! You are going to want it all!

This adorable set is called BEE SWISSIE and has the cute girl, 3 mini bees, a small beehive, and 4 sentiments. For my card today I just used the girl and the mini bees. Isn't she ADORABLE?!!

Copics:
Skin: E000, E00, E01, E02, E11, E13
Hair: E42, E44, E47, E49
Yellow: Y13, Y21, YR21, YR23, YR24
Black: C3, C5, C7, Black
Bees: C3, C5, Y11, YR21

This large beehive is a die from Honey Bee Stamps. I cut it out of yellow cardstock and used my Copics to add more color and dimension. I used the circle die from C.C. Designs and cut a hole in the beehive and then mounted it to black cardstock using foam tape so it has more dimension. The branch at the top was fussy cut from paper that is part of the In The Forest 6x6 Paper Pad

Remember, this cutie will be available for purchase in the C.C. Designs Store on Thursday at 12pm CST!

Hugs,
Rosie

C.C. Designs FEBRUARY RELEASE Showcase Day 1!

The FEBRUARY 2020 RELEASE from C.C. Designs is now available for purchase!! Be sure to head over to the C.C. Designs Store to pick up yours today. This month there are 2 new stamp sets and 3 animal metal dies: a cat, a bunny, and a bear. Going forward into the new year, the new releases will be available on the very first day of Showcase Days.

Today, I'm featuring the adorable bee from the FEBRUARY & MARCH Clear Stamp Set. I stamped him multiple times on yellow cardstock, and also created one as a reverse image. Then I colored them with Copic Markers.

Copics:
Yellow: Y06, Y15, YR21, YR23
Black: C5, C6, C8

The beehive was created using the Honey Bee Stamps Bee Hive Card. I cut the shape from yellow cardstock and colored it with Copic Markers to create layers and dimension. Then I cut the door out. I placed foam tape behind the colored bee hive and placed it on top of another yellow bee hive cut out. I added the two bees at the top on action wobbles so they shake when you flick them.

I stamped the sentiment on the inside of the folding doors and also added another bee. This card was so much fun to make!

Be sure to head over to the C.C. Designs Store and grab your favorites before they sell out!

Hugs,
Rosie

7 Kids Crafting Supply Store: HONEY BEE STAMPS!

Happy Sunday everyone! Have you checked out the 7 Kids Crafting Supply Store lately? There is so much variety in the store now and new lines are being added regularly! Two of the things that makes 7 Kids stand out are their outstanding customer service and fast shipping. If you ever need anything or want something that you don't see, reach out to Kelly and she will help you!

Today, I'm featuring a new line we recently added called Honey Bee Stamps!! The stamps and dies are amazing! I LOVE all of the sets and added a bunch to my collection so you're going to be seeing me featuring these for a while, WOO HOO! With Christmas around the corner, I needed some cute art to display in some 8x10 frames around the house. So I decided to use these adorable birds from the Season's Tweetings Stamp Set to make something cute and simple! This set is HUGE....6x8 and comes with some awesome sentiments! Aren't they adorable!!

In sticking with the simple theme, I didn't do any shading. I stamped the birds on kraft paper and pulled out my glitter gel pens (that have just been sitting and collecting dust, haha). The sentiment is from the Season's Tweeting set and I just embossed it with gold embossing powder. The patterned paper is from Simple Stories Very Merry 6x8 Paper Pad. I plan on putting this in an 8x10 frame, which I still need to get.

Don't forget about our current ANYTHING GOES Challenge on the 7 Kids Challenge Blog. Just click on the link on the Challenge Blog (right side bar) to upload your card for a chance at winning a $20 gift certificate to the store! We will also be starting a new challenge on our Facebook Group soon!

Have a great Sunday!
