TLC Designs Shop: TROLLING BY WITH BIG HUGS!

Happy Tuesday friends! I'm on the TLC Designs Blog today sharing a card using two different stamp sets along with two different die sets. I love that the stamps and dies from TLC Designs can be combined in various ways to create fabulous cards! 

 

For this scene card, I decided to combine the boy troll, mushrooms, and sentiment from the Trolling By Stamp Set with the snail from the Turtle-icious Stamp Set (the cricket was part of the original Trolling By set, but I just realized he didn't make it to the smaller, revised set.). I stamped the images on Copic Xpress It Blending Card and colored them with Copic Markers.

 
To create the shape of the card, I used the Daisy Frame Die. I cut a separate panel from green decorative paper and used the grass die in the Land and Sea Die Set to make the grass layer.

 
I hope this inspires you to pull out your various TLC Designs stamps and dies and look at ways to combine them to create all sorts of cute scenes. Remember To Live Creatively (TLC)!

TLC Designs Shop: MIX & MATCH HOP

For my card, I used one of the girl robots and the bird bot in the Bot Besties Digital Set that is part of the Sketch-EZ #118 Challenge Bundle. The sentiment is from Snow Bot Friends Clear Stamp Set.

I used the Celebrate Frame Dies to create the cupcake frame and the cake. Then I fussy cut the girl and bird bots and added them to the card with foam tape for extra dimension.

The paper is from the Magical Delight Slimline Paper Pack.

TLC Designs Shop: May 2023 Mix & Match Instagram Hop!

Happy Monday friends! Today we have a Mix & Match Instagram Hop at TLC Designs! The Design Team was challenged to combine recently released product with older product to give you inspiration on how the TLC stamps, dies, and papers can be mixed together. For my card I combined the new clear stamp set called Kitten Frills with an older kitty set called Kitten Gems to create this living room scene full of some laughter and some mischief.

To fit all of these elements on one card, I went with a 5x7 card. The wall and floor pattern paper came from the Blooming Medley Slimline Paper Pack. I cut a strip of white cardstock and scored it to create a baseboard. 

Next, I cut a silver frame using the dies from Loving Petals Square Die Set. The blue, leafy paper within the silver frame is from the Spring Fun Slimline Paper Pack. The sentiment is from Must Haves Sentiment Stamp Set.

Today, I created an interactive card using the Hopping Hares Stamp Set with the Double Dial Die. These bunnies are adorable, and the interactive component makes this card magical and whimsical! When you turn the dial in the bottom left corner, the bunny from the left jumps towards the bunny on the ground.

 

I think it's hilarious, haha! I used digital landscape paper for the background. I cut another piece of the double dial frame from white cardstock and added dots with brown markers to create dirt. Then I used some deckle edge scissors to trim it down. I cut some slits into the "dirt" so I could slide some of the carrots into it so it looked like they were coming out of the ground. I then glued the dirt panel to the bottom of the landscape frame. The sentiment is from the Hopping Friends Sentiment Stamp Set.

TLC Designs: Mix & Match Instagram Hop!

For my card, I combined the plant and balloons from the Pizzaria Digital Stamp Set (released in January) with Ben Bot Digital Stamps along with one of the girl robots from the February Sketch-EZ #118 Challenge Bundle.

The cute heart paper in the background is from the Krafty and Sweet Slimline Digital Paper Pack. 

 

 
I created the digital scene in MS Word and printed it on Xpress It Blending Card. Then I colored the scene with Copic Markers. Aren't they the cutest bot couple ever?!!

TLC Designs: JINGLE TIME

Happy Thursday Friends! Are you ready for Christmas next week?! It's crazy to me that it's almost here! Have you finished all your Christmas decorating? Well, as you can see, Santa is a little behind on decorating his tree. I guess the Elves were too busy making and sorting presents that they forgot all about it, haha!

This card features the Jingle Time Digital Stamp Set from TLC Designs. I created the scene in MS Word, printed it on Xpress It Blending Card, and then colored with Copic markers. To create the oval frame, I used the Tiny Vine Oval Die.

The Design Team was challenged to combine the newly released stamps with products previously released to give you inspiration on how the TLC stamps and dies can be mixed together.

For my card today, I combined the new Jingle Time Digital Stamp Set with the pre-colored images that are included in the Chilly Fun Slimline Stock Paper Pack. I love that TLC included a sheet of pre-colored images in the Chilly Fun pack. It makes creating cards easy and fun! 

 For this slimline scene card, I cut the shape of the background 3 times from white cardstock using the largest die in the Zinnia Slimline Die Set. I inked up some clouds on the 1st white background. Then I tore the other 2 white die-cuts to create snowy mountain layers and an icy pond. The sentiment is from the new Warm & Fuzzy Unicorn Stamp Set. I raised the middle snow layer and the fairy on foam tape for extra dimension. The trees and fairy were colored with Copic Markers. The additional characters are digitally colored images from the Chilly Fun Paper Pack.

Here is my card featuring Lee Holland's Warm & Fuzzy Unicorn! Isn't this unicorn the sweetest?! I colored the unicorn scene with Copic Markers.

I created some party-themed projects for this awesome release! I used the Celebrate with Cake Ephemera to create these 3 cupcake toppers. I'm turning 50 this year and this Card Making Suite makes creating customized party decorations easy peasy! Since the ephemera is pre-colored, I just had to cut out the pieces and glue to the sticks. I did use a glitter pen to add some sparkle to parts of the ephemera and a coat of glaze to the frosting.

 

 

For my next project, I created a shaker card using the Celebrate Frame Die with the beautiful Celebrated Times Slimline Stock Paper Pack. The sprinkles are also included in this Card Making Suite!
