Jaded Blossom: Wishing You A Splashy & Sassy Birthday!

Happy Friday everyone! I'm back today with a different take on a mermaid card for MerMay using Jaded Blossom Dies and Stamps. What is MerMay? It's a month long challenge to share mermaid-themed creations. For my card I made a Purrmaid (cat mermaid). Isn't she fun and adorable?!

To create my Purrmaid, I used the body of the standing moose in Gnome Friends: Moose Dies. The cat's head and arms are from Snowman Pet Dies. Her seashell top and mermaid tail, along with the sea bottom accessories are from the Gnome Dies: Mermaid Add Ons. The adorable cat face was made using Snowman Pets Faces Stamp Set. To complete the card, I added a sentiment from Mermaid To Be Friends Stamp Set.

The Greeting Farm March 2026 Stamp Feature Day 3: CAT MOM ANYA

Happy Wednesday friends! We are on our last day of Stamp Features for the March 2026 New Release at The Greeting Farm. This month, TGF introduced three new stamp sets which are all available now for purchase. Joni and I are on the Blog this week showcasing the new release. 

Today's set called CAT MOM ANYA captures the special bond between a cat mom and her furry companion. Purrfect for cat lovers, this set also includes playful elements like a curious kitten, a cozy cat condo, a fish, yarn ball, and heart. Whether you're creating something for a fellow cat lover or celebrating your own furry family member, Cat Mom Anya brings warmth, cuteness, and a little bit of purr-sonality to every project.  

To create the scene, I used patterned paper. I colored the images with Copic Markers and fussy cut them out. I raised some of the images with foam tape for extra dimension.

The "birthday" word die is from Diamond Press. I cut the letters apart so I could piece them how I wanted them.

This release is all about PETS! Today, we are showcasing Gnome Dies: Pet Add Ons. This set has a variety of pet animals so I decided to create a scene to incorporate multiple animals. I knew I wanted a cat peeking through a window so I also used: Gnome Friends: Cat Dies and Cat Faces Stamp Set. To create the window, I used the Stitched Arch Dies. For the wallpaper pattern, I used the Fishbone Stencil (FREEBIE offer).

The fishbowl with fish, turtle, and hamster are all part of the Pet Add Ons. The table is a clipart file I printed and cut out. The sentiment is from the Doodlebug Design Pretty Kitty 6x6 Paper Pad .

This release is all about PETS! We couldn't leave out our cat lovers, so today we are showcasing Gnome Friends: Cat Dies. There is even a new Cat Faces Stamp Set to add even more character to your cat. To create my white cat, I used a digital paper pack from Etsy called Seamless Black and White Fur. I layered some of the pieces with foam tape to give her some extra dimension.  

I used the new Paw Print Stencil to create the wallpaper. I wanted a light background so I used Archival Brilliance Platinum Planet for the paw prints and Spun Sugar Distress Oxide Ink for the hearts. The wood floor is digital paper. To create the baseboard, I cut a strip of white paper and scored two lines. I used Square Internal Scallops Dies 1 with a quote panel from Doodlebug Design Pretty Kitty 6x6 Paper Pad to make the wall art.

Conie Fong: CAT FAMILY WITH HEART

Happy Friday friends! I'm so excited for the new venture Conie Fong is trying out. If you haven't seen yet, Conie has created a drawing YouTube Channel with FREE videos walking you step-by-step on how to draw simple images. Her channel is called DRAW WITH CONIE. If you have ever been interested in drawing or need an activity to keep the kids entertained, then head over and Subscribe! She is also loading these images into her ConieFongArt Etsy Store so you can purchase the digital line art to color if you don't want to draw them.

Today's card features the Cat Family with Heart digital line art from the Cat Family Bundle. I printed it on Xpress It Blending Card in the bottom right corner, then cut the paper down to 4.25 x 11 so I could score it in half to create an A2 card (4.25 x 5.5). I colored the cat family with Copic Markers.

I used paper and a sentiment strip from Doodlebug Design Pretty Kitty 6x6 Paper Pad, along with some Doodlebug Design Rainbow Hearts Shape Sprinkles.

TLC Designs Shop: May 2023 Mix & Match Instagram Hop!

Happy Monday friends! Today we have a Mix & Match Instagram Hop at TLC Designs! The Design Team was challenged to combine recently released product with older product to give you inspiration on how the TLC stamps, dies, and papers can be mixed together. For my card I combined the new clear stamp set called Kitten Frills with an older kitty set called Kitten Gems to create this living room scene full of some laughter and some mischief.

To fit all of these elements on one card, I went with a 5x7 card. The wall and floor pattern paper came from the Blooming Medley Slimline Paper Pack. I cut a strip of white cardstock and scored it to create a baseboard. 

Next, I cut a silver frame using the dies from Loving Petals Square Die Set. The blue, leafy paper within the silver frame is from the Spring Fun Slimline Paper Pack. The sentiment is from Must Haves Sentiment Stamp Set.

Jaded Blossom September 2021 Release: SNEAK PEEK DAY 4

 Happy Thursday everyone! Today is Day 4 of Sneak Peeks for the Jaded Blossom SEPTEMBER Release!  If you LOVE everything you have seen so far then you definitely want to purchase the Gotta Have it Now Package which will return to the Jaded Blossom Store on Friday. It's the best deal! 

Today, we are revealing the FREEBIE stamp set called BLACK CAT BREWERY. For my project, I stamped the tag size stamp onto my white card base and rubbed Distress Oxide ink over it. Then I stamped the potion bottle on black cardstock and heat embossed the design with Olive Embossing Powder. The scallop border was cut using Border Dies 2. 

I raised the black panel on foam tape for extra dimension, and finished off the card with some enamel dots.

The Greeting Farm Stamp Feature: THANK MEW

 Happy Wednesday everyone! We are on Day 1 of Stamp Features for the JUNE 2021 RELEASE at The Greeting Farm. This month TGF introduced 3 new stamp sets! Claudette, Joni and I will be on The Greeting Farm Blog showcasing the new release over the next few days.

Where are my cat lovers?! I love these chibi-style kitties with their different facial expressions! Some would be awesome with a few snarky sentiments, LOL! When I saw this set my first thought was to create a cat tower. It looked so much better in my head, haha! I think I needed some wallpaper behind it and I needed to raise parts of it on foam tape for dimension.

 

Like I said, the next time I would definitely do a few things differently, but it's a start. I think it would have been better had I used more patterned paper throughout. It's just a little too plain for me.
