Jaded Blossom: YEEHAW! It's Your Birthday!

Happy Friday everyone! I'm back today for Jaded Blossom with a cowgirl birthday card featuring several of the new items released this month. I had a lot of fun making this cowgirl scene! I love how the various gnome dies can be combined to make something unique and original. 

To create this adorable cowgirl, I used Gnome Dies: Girl Gnome Face Add Ons (body/face/nose/bangs), Girl Gnome Dies (pigtails, hand), Gnome Dies: Leg Add Ons, Gnome Dies: Southwestern Add Ons (hat/boots), Gnome Dies: Cowboy Add Ons (lasso), and Gingerbread Faces (eyes/mouth). Of course, she had to be riding a horse! (Gnome Friends: Horse Die and Horse Faces Stamp Set)

The background scene was created using Southwestern Scenic Dies. The sentiment is from the Wanted Stamp Set.

Jaded Blossom June 2026 New Release BLOG HOP!

Happy Thursday friends! It's time for the Jaded Blossom June 2026 New Release Blog Hop! All new items are NOW available for purchase! May was MerMay, and I think for me June is going to be Junicorn! I am having so much fun turning the Gnome Friends: Horse Die into a unicorn! The expressions in the Horse Faces Stamp Set are so cute and hilarious. I based my card around one of the sentiments in the Hay Thanks Stamp Set: Be A UNICORN in a field full of horses. I think it's such a great reminder not to compare yourself to others....just be unapologetically YOU. 

To create the hind legs, I just die cut the front legs, color them a little darker, and glue them behind and a little higher up. The grass paper is a digi file I bought off Etsy. I raised the two front horses, the unicorn, and the sentiment on foam tape for extra dimension.

The background sky/clouds were created using the Vertical Stitched Cloud Card Mat Die. The large white cloud at the bottom was made using Border Dies 2. To frame the scene, I used the Square Internal Scallops Dies 1. The words "love you" are from Doodlebug Design Summer Fun Puffy Words Stickers.
