I Am Roses + Conie Fong's Sweetheart Bella

Happy Thursday everyone! Today, I'm featuring a Valentine's Day card using the beautiful flowers from I Am Roses with Conie Fong's Sweetheart Bella. I have always loved bears ever since I was little. When I was in my 20s I started collecting BOYD BEARS. They are so adorable and have so much character....much like Conie Fong's bear digital stamps. I absolutely LOVE this one!! And to make it even better, I added I Am Roses flowers. I think their flowers always add extra OOMPH to any card!

Copics:
Bear: E41, E42, E43, E44, R20, R22, Colorless Blender
Pink: RV02, RV04, RV06, RV09, RV69
Yellow: Y13, Y15, YR21, YR23, YR24
White: C1, C2, C3, Colorless Blender

I sometimes have a difficult time layering, but I feel like adding I Am Roses flowers and a bow really take a card to the next level!

Don't forget you still have until FEBRUARY 8th to enter the current I Am Roses Challenge!! You must use at least 2 products from I Am Roses on your entry. The best part is that there are 4 prizes up for grabs!! Don't miss out on your chance to win these stunning paper flowers!

C.C. Designs: Valentine Animals

Happy Wednesday everyone! The JANUARY RELEASE from C.C. Designs is full of so much goodness! I'm loving everything about this release from the stamps to the dies to the stencils....it's all amazing! Be sure to head over to the C.C. Designs Store to pick up your favorites today, and please use Coupon Code: ROSEB46 at checkout!

My card today features Valentine Animals! I colored them with Copic markers...my go-to medium. I used some Liquid Applique for the sheep's wool and Glossy Accents for the owl's glasses. The large sentiment came from a paper pad in my stash.

I used the new In and Out Square Metal Cutter for the red scallop frame around the sentiment. The border was too thick and covered part of the "you", so I cut a larger square out from the middle using an older C.C. Designs square die set to make a thinner scallop border.

 Copics:
Sheep: C3, C5, C6, C7
Teal: BG72, BG75, BG78
Red: R24, R27, R29, R59
Owl: E11, E13, E15
Red: R24, R27, R29, R59
Black: C5, C6, C7

I raised the sheep and owl on foam tape for extra dimension.

Be sure to head over to the C.C. Designs Store and grab your favorites before they sell out! If my card inspires you to make a purchase, please click on the Store link in this post or use my affiliate code at checkout: ROSEB46

Our new blog also has CHALLENGES and TUTORIALS! Be sure to check out those sections too when visiting the C.C. Designs Store. You still have one more day to enter the current January Challenge: Make a card using pink, red and black.

Have an awesome day!

The Greeting Farm Stamp Feature: DECORA ANYA

Happy Thursday everyone! The Greeting Farm introduced 3 NEW Stamp Sets in the Store on January 15th, and they are awesome once again! WITH LOVE features some sweet, adorable girls with flowers to create an wonderful floral scene. The next set called UNICORN PLANS has various unicorns perfect for all your projects, especially those planners. And lastly, DECORA ANYA reminds all of us to embrace our fun, colorful, sparkly side.

Today, I'm featuring this sassy and fun girl called DECORA ANYA!

This fashionista was inspired by Japanese Harajuku Style, which is a playful, colorful mix of girly and punk. The street style originated from a postwar combination of American and Japanese culture and formed mainly around the Harajuku district in Shibuya, Japan. Harajuku Style challenges you to be different from mainstream fashion and embrace something more colorful and liberating! Here are some pictures of Harajuku Style:

She has become a favorite for many of us! I wish I was as brave as these women to wear whatever colorful, sparkly thing I wanted. If I lived in this city in Japan, I would probably dress like this on the weekends, LOL!
Copics:
Skin: E000, E00, E01, E11, E13
Hair: B18, B16, B12, RV09, RV23

The Greeting Farm Stamp Feature: UNICORN PLANS

Happy Thursday everyone! The Greeting Farm introduced 3 NEW Stamp Sets in the Store on January 15th, and they are awesome once again! Today, I'm featuring this adorable set called UNICORN PLANS! It also has a coordinating die set HERE.

I absolutely LOVE unicorns so I'm especiall giddy over this set! I used the Stamping Bella Corkboard Background to show off several of these cuties! To create the corkboard look, I stamped the image on brown cardstock. Then I used Copic E47, E44, and E43 to make the wood lines on the frame part. Next, I added dots over the center part with E41 and E42 to create the look of corkboard.

Copics:
Unicorn: C1, C2, Colorless Blender
Mane and Tail: BG78, BG75, BG13, BV08, V17, V15
Pink: RV02, RV06, RV09
Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Marker

The sentiments on each mini Polaroid is from the Unicorn Plans set. The other 3 sentiments are from a Love Cynthia set. I used enamel dots for the "push pins".

The Greeting Farm Stamp Feature: WITH LOVE

Happy Wednesday everyone!

Today, I'm featuring this adorable set called WITH LOVE! It also has a coordinating die set HERE.

When I saw this set, I knew I wanted to create a wreath design. I just traced a circle with a pencil and stamped the large flower at the top and bottom of the circle. Then I stamped the rest of the foliage around to form my wreath. Next, I erased my pencil lines and followed the Scrubbing Bubbles Tutorial from Rhea (scroll down her page to find the mermaid one) to create the dotted background around the foliage. Finally I colored in the flowers with Copic Markers.

Copics:
Girls Skin: E000, E00, E01, E13
Hair: E42, E47, E49
Flower Hats: RV66, V05, Y08
Yellow: Y08, Y17, Y24
Purple:  V12, V15, V17, BV08
Green: YG23,YG25, YG67, G28
Pink: R81, R83, R85, R37
Blue sky: BG10
Dotted Background: B0000, BG10, B95, B52, BV20, V01, V000
Colorless Blender

I cut my sentiment apart so I could stamp "hey" on the left side of the flower and "you" on the right side. The girls were stamped on another sheet of paper, colored, die-cut out, and then raised on foam tape for more dimension.

Don't forget, you have until January 18th to participate in the New Release Blog Hop for a chance at winning the January Release! It's a short hop so we hope to see you playing along!

I'm in lovey-dovey mode and already thinking ahead to Valentine's Day so I headed over to Make it Crafty and grabbed this awesome digi stamp called GEEKY LOVE. My husband and I are nerds and kinda weird so this image fit us perfectly, LOL! And, I still get this giddy when he kisses me on the cheek even though we've been together 24 1/2 years. He's my lobster! ("Friends" reference)

I used a Polaroid frame die to crop my image so the focus was on the cheeky kiss. That's one of the great things about digi stamps...you can resize them to fit whatever project you are working on. The papers came from my stash. To finish it off, I added the gorgeous I Am Roses flowers!

Don't forget, you have until FEBRUARY 8th to link up your project. Be sure to use at least 2 products from I Am Roses before linking!

C.C. Designs Preview Day 2: CUTIE BUG!

Happy Monday everyone! C.C. Designs has a HUGE release coming out this Thursday featuring rubber stamps, clear stamp sets, background stamps, dies, and stencils....LOTS and LOTS of awesome goodies! This month we have Facebook prizes for each day of previews where each winner will receive a $20 Store Gift Certificate. In addition, there are MINI BLOG HOPS on each Preview Day Blog Post, and 1 person will win the ENTIRE RELEASE!! Head over to the C.C. Designs Blog to see all the details!!

Today, we are on Day 2 of Previews and I'm showcasing several new items on one card. First up is this awesome background created using the Heart and Arrow Rubber Stamp. I stamped it on watercolor paper. Then I rubbed Distress Oxide Ink on top. I sprinkled some water over it and blotted with a paper towel to get the lighter drops. Next, I used black, red, and white gel pens to enhance the hearts and lines. The wings were colored in with a Gold Sharpie paint pen.

Next, I cut out circle holes from the background paper using one of the Circle Layering Dies. Then I used the NEW In and Out Circle Metal Die to make the white scallop circle frames that I glued around the hole openings. To create depth, I raised the Heart and Arrow panel on foam tape before adhering to the black cardstock.

Next, I added foam tape to the center of these quirky bugs from the CUTIE BUG Clear Stamp Set. Aren't they FUN?! The sentiment is from the same set.

Don't forget to head over to the C.C. Designs Customer Facebook Page and play along in all the games for a chance at a $20 Store Gift Certificate. Also, be sure to leave a comments on all DT Posts on the C.C. Designs Blog, because one lucky winner will take home the ENTIRE RELEASE! 2018-12-06 December 2018 Release Product Sheet
These snowmen are so adorable and cute. I think the various outfits are an awesome idea. This set reminds me of those old paper doll kits where you could cut out different outfits and accessories....LOVE it!

 Copics:
Snowmen: BV20, BV23, YR04, YR09, Colorless Blender
Red: R24, R27, R29, R37, R89
Teal: BG13, BG15, BG75, BG78
Black: C6, C7, Black

My friend Arlene made a YouTube video showing how to create this snowy landscape background with Distress Oxide Inks. It's AWESOME and so easy to follow. Check out her video HERE!! I didn't have a stencil so I used a border die and cut out some cardstock to use as my template.

I raised the snowmen on foam tape for added dimension. The sentiment is part of the Build A Snowman set. Isn't it a fun card? I am so in LOVE with the background!

Be sure to head over to the C.C. Designs Store and grab your favorites. We start Previews next week for the January Release and there are a lot of products coming out. It's a HUGE Release!!
