Little Miss Muffet Stamps~Candy Floss Crew EBONY

Happy Friday everyone!! Today, I'm showcasing Candy Floss Crew Ebony from Little Miss Muffet Stamps. I LOVE the entire line of Candy Floss Crew stamps! They are so awesome and adorable!

Since Memorial Day is coming up, I decided to go with a patriotic card to say THANK YOU to all those who have served and continue to serve in our armed forces. My dad was a 1st Sergeant in the Army. He passed away several years ago and I miss him tremendously! Here's to you DAD!

Candy Floss Crew Ebony is printed on Xpress It Blending Card and colored with Copics. I am at my friend Renate's house in California and we've been spending time in the evenings crafting. This card is a collaborative effort! I LOVE that she's into card-making too and can help me!! LOVE her bunches!! :)

Happy Saturday everyone! Yesterday we had some bad weather roll through with an F1 tornado. We were really nervous and hid in the coat closet under the staircase. I'm a big scaredy cat when it comes to bad weather. Living in Oklahoma has me terrified of wall clouds and tornadoes. I thought moving to Texas we wouldn't have to worry so much. But now I'm thinking we need a storm shelter....ASAP!!

Little Miss Muffet Stamp~Spencer Loves Cake!

TGIF everyone! Hope you had an awesome week so far! This week was a rough one for us with some unexpected news of changes to the hubby's job. We could definitely use lots of prayer on this huge upcoming change. I don't handle change very well and this one is a big one. I know we'll get through it as a family, but it's going to be a challenge in the beginning.

Today I decided to make a boy birthday card. I've been making lots of girly cards lately that I needed to change things up a bit. Plus I wanted to used this super cute bear called Spencer Loves Cake! Isn't he the cutest thing ever?! He's stamped on Spectrum Noir Premium White Cardstock and colored with Spectrum Noir Markers.

I used the Crafter's Companion 6x6 Petite Dot Embossing Folder for the white cardstock panel. The "celebrate" sentiment is from Make It Crafty Doodle Celebrate Wood Chipboard set. I used a blue sharpie to color the sentiment. I kept wanting to add something in the corners or some ribbon, but I stuck to my guns, haha!

My husband and I are both military brats so we didn't get to grow up around our cousins. We're so glad he gets to hang out with them on a regular basis.

TGIF everyone! Hope you had an awesome week so far! I'm trying to nurse a migraine that I've had for 3 days. It's right behind my left eye and hurts even with meds. Little Miss Muffet Stamp~Dudley's Friend Stanley!

Happy Friday everyone! Well today's been an interesting day. We got lots of snow in Texas! Bet you're wondering how much is lots? Well for Texas that equals about 2 to 3 inches!! I know compared to other states that is nothing, but here in Texas it's amazing! We usually get sleet and ice....rarely the white, fluffy snow. But today we got the real stuff and most of the kids loved it...probably because they got released from school early, haha! The roads here are slick and treacherous because the state doesn't have the resources available to sand everything. So we are pretty much staying put!! My little guy got excited to make his first ever snow angel, haha!

 

My card today features this adorable guy called Dudley's Friend Stanley....LOVE him!! I'm using some new paper today from Spectrum Noir....and it's amazing! It's thicker than Xpress It Paper and can hold a lot of ink.

 Happy Friday everyone! Isaiah had a Valentine's Day exchange at school today. I spent the week making Minecraft Valentine cards because of course, you can't buy them anywhere! So I'm glad that's over and I can focus on my regular crafting, haha! Do you do anything special for Valentine's Day? I think we are keeping it low key tomorrow. We don't have a babysitter so I think we are probably going to do a family night at home. I definitely don't want to wait at a restaurant for 2+ hours to eat dinner!!
