This release we are focusing on summer food and drinks. Today, I'm showcasing the new Window Card Mat Die with the Checkered Stencil. I created a card adding the ants from the Gnome Dies: BBQ Add Ons. I think they are so much fun!

To add to the whimsy, I added googly eyes to the ants. They crack me up, LOL! The sentiment is from the Grilling With My Gnomies Stamp Set. The white scallop frame is from Scallop Rectangle Dies 2.

 Happy Tuesday friends! As we come to the end of the month and the end of MerMay, I have one final mermaid card to share with you. I have been challenging myself to use colors I don't normally use. For today, I picked orange. I colored up this adorable mermaid from Sweet November Stamps called Baylee using Copic Markers. 

 

I generally use the R43 Peony flower as my center focal point and then build out from there. Next, I added white cherry blossoms, some peach flowers, white small flowers, and mini green leaves. The sentiment is from Jaded Blossom Mermaid Kisses.

This release we are focusing on summer food and drinks. Today, I'm showcasing the Build A Booth: BBQ Add Ons, Lemonade For Sale Stamp Set, and the Lemon Stencil. I combined the original Build A Booth Die with the Crate Die to create a box holder for these Russell Stover Lemon Puckers candy. You do have to trim the top of the crate die-cut so it doesn't stick out above the booth.

 

I cut all my pieces from white cardstock and used Distress Oxide Inks on the Lemon Stencil to create the pattern. The sentiment is from the new Lemonade For Sale Stamp Set. The lemon banner is from the new Build A Booth: BBQ Add Ons.

Jaded Blossom June 2023 Release: SNEAK PEEK DAY 1

 Happy Monday Friends! Today we are on Day 1 of Sneak Peeks for the Jaded Blossom June 2023 Release. You can grab the "Gotta Have It Now Package" for a discounted amount. If you wait until the release goes live the bundle price will go up.

This release we are focusing on summer food and drinks. As the temperature warms up what better way to celebrate than throwing a barbecue for your friends with hamburgers, hotdogs, steak, watermelon, and of course some ice cold lemonade! Today, I'm showcasing the Gnome Dies: BBQ Add Ons with the Grilling With My Gnomies Stamp Set. I found these gummy hot dots at Walmart and they fit perfectly with today's sneak peek. I'm still not sure whether or not to be grossed out by them, LOL!

To give my gnome a face, I colored part of the hat area with Copic Markers and then moved the hat up. You can find my tutorial on how I created the face HERE. Usually, I use a multi-liner pen to add his eyes, but on this gnome I used the die-cut eyes from the ghost die in the Halloween Add Ons. On the XL Topper Die, I sealed up the handle area with cardstock so I could add the sentiment in the middle of the topper.

Jaded Blossom: Let the Good Times Roll!

 Happy Friday everyone! I'm back today with my latest project for Jaded Blossom. My niece has a birthday coming up and since she was born in the 90s, she decided to throw a 1990s party! I have my outfit picked out so I'm ready!! I decided to do a rainbow bright Lisa Frank style birthday card.

To create the background, I rubbed various Distress Oxide Inks over the Star Stencil on white cardstock. I then colored around the stars with a black marker. Next, I stamped one of the images from Love The 80s Stamp Set onto the Treat Tag Die, and colored it in with markers. I also inked up the tag die mat with DO Inks for the rainbow colors. I added some ribbon to the top of the tag and added it to the card base with foam tape.

This month is all about Mermaids so I was excited to see this new set called MINKIE MERMAIDS. I used all the mermaids on this 5x7 card. They were so much fun to color! 

The rock the mermaid is sitting on, little fishes, starfish, and shell with pearl, along with the sentiment came in this set. The seaweed and coral are from uncolored decorative die-cuts from Stamp Anniething.

This Spring scene features almost all of the stamps in the MISS ANYA PRETTY DAY Stamp Set. I love how Marie includes cute accessory stamps to complement the characters. I mean seriously....check out those cute little bees!!

 

To create the background scene I just used some Distress Oxide Ink and a cloud stencil. Everything else on this card is from the stamp set.

 Today, I created a 6x6 card using an adorable digital image from Conie Fong called Chef Gnome Bundle. I think he is the cutest chef!  

To step it up a notch, I added gorgeous IAR flowers in the corner. The large flower is the R-43 style of flower. I almost always use this as my large flower. Next, I added S15-422 navy blue small spring cottage flowers, white cherry blossoms,red small flowers, blue small flowers, and finishing with mini green leaves.

TLC Designs Shop: May 2023 Mix & Match Instagram Hop!

Happy Monday friends! Today we have a Mix & Match Instagram Hop at TLC Designs! The Design Team was challenged to combine recently released product with older product to give you inspiration on how the TLC stamps, dies, and papers can be mixed together. For my card I combined the new clear stamp set called Kitten Frills with an older kitty set called Kitten Gems to create this living room scene full of some laughter and some mischief.

To fit all of these elements on one card, I went with a 5x7 card. The wall and floor pattern paper came from the Blooming Medley Slimline Paper Pack. I cut a strip of white cardstock and scored it to create a baseboard. 

Next, I cut a silver frame using the dies from Loving Petals Square Die Set. The blue, leafy paper within the silver frame is from the Spring Fun Slimline Paper Pack. The sentiment is from Must Haves Sentiment Stamp Set.

Jaded Blossom May 2023 New Release BLOG HOP!

  For my project, I used several of the new products to create this mini potted plant birthday gift for that favorite gardening friend. I had these mini terracotta pots in my craft stash so I decided to put them to use. I used the Ric Tac Topper Die to create the topper of the bag of dirt. I then added the flowers from the Wheelbarrow Die and the ladybug from the Gnome Dies: Gardening Add Ons. The sentiment is from Happy Gardening. 

The word flowers and the vine of leaves came from the Build A Booth: Garden Add Ons. I cut a label from sticker paper using Label Shape Dies 1, and inked it with the Vine Stencil and Distress Oxide Ink. The sentiment on the label is also from Happy Gardening.

Jaded Blossom May 2023 Release: SNEAK PEEK DAY 3

This month we are focusing on Gardening. If you have a friend or family member in your life who loves to garden then this release is a must-have! Today, I did some gold embossing and watercoloring on this beautiful image from the new Mushroom Cluster Stamp Set. I think this stamp set is gorgeous and perfect for so many different occasions!

I stamped the image directly on watercolor paper using Versamark Embossing Ink and then heat embossed it with Ranger gold superfine embossing powder. The coloring was done with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens and a paintbrush. I added glittery enamel dots to finish off the design.
