Jaded Blossom: I MISS YOUR CUTE BUTT

Happy Friday everyone! I just realized Easter is this Sunday which inspired me to pull out the Sweet Bunnies Stamp Set with Outline Dies. Originally I was going to use one of the bunnies in the stamp set for my card, but when I saw the "I Miss Your Cute Butt" sentiment, I knew I had to create a bunny booty using dies, LOL!  

For the bunny body, I cut a circle using the Stitched Circle Dies, and added the bunny feet from Gnome Friends: Bunny Dies. I glued a white/pink sparkle pom pom on for the tail. Then I added the bunny butt to an action wobble so it shakes! How fun is that?!!

The green paper was cut out using the Scallop Circle Dies. I used the Stitched Flower Card Mat Die on the striped patterned paper. The circle panel and the sentiment from Sweet Bunnies is raised on foam tape for extra dimension.

Jaded Blossom: Large Gingerbread Man BOBBLEHEAD!

 Happy Friday everyone! Today's card features products from Jaded Blossom. I recently found my Action Wobble mechanisms so I've been adding them to more and more projects. My latest fun thing to do is make bobbleheads. So as I was perusing my stamp sets I came across the Large Gingerbread Man Stamp and was like HEY, he would make an awesome bobblehead.I LOVE how he turned out! So much fun and he makes me smile!

 

To create the bobblehead, I stamped the image 4 times.....twice on brown cardstock and twice on white cardstock. I did add some shading to the gingerbread men using Copic markers and used a white gel pen to color in the frosting squiggles. I also colored the bows and cheek circles on the white stamped images. I fussy cut just the head and bow from one of the brown gingerbread men. When I cut the 2nd gingerbread man, I cut off the head, but left the bow attached. I cut out two of the bows from the white stamped images and the cheeks from one of them and glued them to the gingerbread man. I added two red enamel dots for his buttons.

Isn't he adorable?! When I adhered him to the card, I glued his body flat. Then I attached an action wobble to the back of his head and lined up the bows to get the placement right. The sentiment is from Kawaii Sentiments Stamp Set.
