The Greeting Farm Stamp Feature: LET'S GO

Happy Wednesday everyone! We are on Day 2 of Stamp Features for the FEBRUARY 2021 RELEASE at The Greeting Farm. This month TGF introduced 3 new stamp sets! Claudette, Joni and I will be on The Greeting Farm Blog showcasing the new release over the next few days.

Every so often, you need a stamp set that just makes you smile and lifts your spirits. This set called LET'S GO features adorable bunnies, cute clouds and of course a hot air balloon. What else could you ask for?! The sentiment is from a stamp set I'll be featuring tomorrow.

Copics:
Bunnies: C0, C1, C2, C3, R20
Mouse: E21, E23, E25, R20
Basket: E41, E42, E43, E44
Pink: RV02, RV04, RV06, RV09
Teal: BG10, BG32, BG34

Teal: BG10, BG72, BG75
Black: C5, C7, C10
Sky: Stencil and Blue China Distress Oxide Ink

I kept this card clean as I wanted the focus to be on the sky scene. I cut a circle from a scrap sheet of paper to use as the frame. I placed the scrap paper with the cut out circle on top of the white cardstock and taped it down on the sides. Then I used the cloud stencil and Distress Oxide Ink to create the background. I raised the hot air balloon and bunny on foam tape for extra dimension.

Be sure to head over to The Greeting Farm Store and grab your favorites. You're going to LOVE them all! And please join The Greeting Farm Fan Page to share you creations. We would love to see them!

Jaded Blossom February 2021 Release: Sneak Peek Day 2

Happy Tuesday everyone! Today is Day 2 of Sneak Peeks for the Jaded Blossom February 2021 Release, which is all about our love for ART and CRAFTING! This release is a lot of fun, and if you are a collector like me then you need all of it!

For my project today, I created a clean and simple card using Zig Watercolor Markers and Distress Oxide Ink with the Paint Splatter Stencil. I first laid down the rainbow watercolors on to watercolor paper. Then for the pink, yellow, and blue areas, I rubbed DO Ink over the stencil to make a more pronounced splatter.

Then I stamped the paint brush and face from the Kawaii Art Stamp Set and colored it with Copic Markers.

Lastly, I stamped the sentiment from the Paint Your Own Story Stamp Set. I didn't even use any foam tape of this card, LOL! It's all one single layer.

Rachelle Anne Miller Stamps available at My Favorite Things!

Happy Tuesday everyone! If you haven't yet heard the good news, Rachelle Anne Miller is now releasing CLEAR STAMPS at My Favorite Things. Today, MFT released several new stamps including this adorable bunny set called RAM Sweet Celebration. This clear stamp also has a coordinating die you can purchase separately. If you hate fussy cutting, then I really suggest you get the die. You can also purchase this image as a digi in Rachelle's store HERE.

I decided to cut the image apart and use the different elements separately to create this slimline scene card. The cloud layers were created using the Stitched Cloud Edges Dies. I inked the edges with Broken China Distress Oxide Ink. Then I raised each cloud layer with foam tape for extra dimension.

I used Copic Markers to color the balloons and animals. Then I added stars and dots to the balloons using a Uni-ball Signo White Pen.

I hope you come join us on the Rachelle Anne Miller Digital Stamps Facebook Group to share your fabulous creations! Be sure to subscribe to her newsletter because she will have special sales throughout the year just for email subscribers!

Remember, the prices in her store are in Australian dollars so if you live in the United States you will pay a lower amount.

Jaded Blossom February Release: Sneak Peek Day 1

Happy Monday! Today is Day 1 of Sneak Peeks for the Jaded Blossom February 2021 Release, which is all about our love for ART and CRAFTING! This release is a lot of fun, and if you are a collector like me then you need all of it!

For my project today, I created a Rolodex card. This is my first time creating one of these, and I am loving it!! The die from Jaded Blossom has a great surface area to work with so I was able to fit quite a bit on it. I love the stitched border! I added a tag on the left (but I forgot to add some ribbon to it, LOL), and of course a couple of Copic Markers. I paper-pieced parts of the scissors and washi tape roll.

I cut apart the Month Word Dies to make the word CREATE from gold cardstock. To adhere it at the top of the Rolodex card, I cut a separate rolodex card from acetate and then glued the letters to the top of the acetate. This gives the letters something sturdy to sit on.

To create more dimension, I adhered the tag, markers, scissors and washi tape roll to the Rolodex card with foam tape.

I can't wait to create more to fill up my new wood Rolodex holder I recently purchased from Etsy.

Jaded Blossom: FANCY HEARTS Birthday Card

Happy Friday everyone! I'm back sharing a Birthday Card I created using the new Jaded Blossom Fancy Hearts Die and a sentiment from Birthday Coffee Art Stamp Set. The entire January Release is AMAZING, and I'm having so much fun creating with these fabulous products!

Today is my beautiful Mother-in-law's Birthday, and her favorite color is purple! This amazing woman is truly a blessing in my life. She has always supported and loved me pretty much from the first day I met her. My husband always jokes that his mom loves me more than him...and he actually might be right, LOL! She survived a ruptured brain aneurysm a few years ago, along with two brain surgeries: one immediate surgery from the ruptured aneurysm, and then another brain surgery a year later for a smaller aneurysm on the other side of her brain. I'm telling you, she is the strongest woman I know. I'm so lucky to have her in my life!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHARMAINE!
I LOVE  YOU!

I created a gold version of this card on a previous post HERE. This time around I went with purple because that's my MIL's favorite color. I used the solid heart die to cut a piece of purple cardstock. Then I backed it with some scortape. Next, I lined up the solid heart cut-out within the die that has all the small hearts. I ran it through my die-cutting machine with a rubber embossing mat under the die so it would not cut all the way through. I wanted the outline of the hearts, but needed all the pieces to stay intact.

I stamped one of the sentiments from the Birthday Coffee Art Stamp Set onto white cardstock. I trimmed it, and then used a pink Copic Marker to line the edge of the sentiment piece. I added it on top of the heart with foam tape. To finish it off, I added paper flowers and leaves from I Am Roses, and purple enamel dots in the corners.

Remember, we have a Monthly Challenge on the Jaded Blossom Blog. For February, the theme is FLOWERS. We hope you play along with us for a chance to win a FREE Stamp Set! Be sure to check out the Jaded Blossom Store for all your stamps and gift giving supplies. Jaded Blossom February 2021 Challenge: FLOWERS

Hi everyone! It's the first Sunday of the month and that means we have a brand new challenge at Jaded Blossom! The theme for FEBRUARY is:

FLOWERS!

Challenge Guidelines:
1) Project must be new for this challenge, no back linking
2) Project must have a Jaded Blossom stamp or die somewhere on it.
3) Only one entry per person
4) Link it up below by Saturday, 03/06/2021

Prize:
This month's prize for a randomly selected winner is:

And SURPRISE! We have a SALE to help you get in the mood for this challenge.

After going through my card stash, I realized I did not have any Get Well cards. I also did not have any Jaded Blossom flower dies so I had to get creative! I went through my stamps and dies to figure out what I could use and realized the COFFIN DIE would work great as a vase! I showed you guys in December how I used this die to make reindeer faces HERE. Well now it can be turned into a vase for so many different occasions!

Were you able to tell which stamps and dies I used to create the flowers?

(multiple layers cut out and placed on foam)
Purple Flower: Peppermint Candy Die
Stem/Leaves: Mistletoe Kisses

I decided a white background was too plain so I splattered some watercolor on the white card base for a subtle backdrop. Then I added a sentiment from the ORGAN DONOR Stamp Set on top of the vases with foam tape. Next, I adhered the vase and flowers to the card base with more foam tape.

We hope you play along with us in our FEBRUARY Challenge for a chance to win a FREE Stamp Set!! Be sure to check out the Jaded Blossom Store for all your stamps and gift giving supplies. They have various Cutting Dies to make party favors along with Favor Bags and Boxes.

Hugs,
Rosie

Dies R Us: UNICORNS and RAINBOWS

Happy Tuesday everyone! There are so many new products coming into the Dies R Us Store including one of my favorite brands...MAMA ELEPHANT! Today, I'm sharing a slimline card I created using the ME Slim Card Basics Dies with the ME Unicorns and Rainbows Stamps.

For my tutorial, I'll be showing you how I created the awesome cloud background. Let's get started!

Step 1: I used the cloud border die from the ME Slim Card Basics to cut out multiple cloud edges. I also cut a piece of white cardstock to 3.5 x 8.5. I wanted the white cardstock rectangle to be a little bit larger than the stitched die in the set (you will see why later).

Step 2: I wanted to make a rainbow cloud background so I grabbed Picked Raspberry, Ripe Persimmon, Scattered Straw, Twisted Citron, Broken China, and Wilted Violet Distress Oxide Inks. I used makeup brushes to rub the ink along the cloud edge.

I also did several clouds using Broken China so I could create a 2nd background of only blue clouds. I'll use this background for another project later.

Step 3: I glued the cloud edges in a random pattern over the 3.5 x 8.5 rectangle base, and trimmed off the edges.

Step 4: Next, I used the stitched slimline die to cut out the panels. Because there are several layers of clouds I did have to run the die several times through my die cutting machine with an additional paper shim. Then I had to pull off the edges and trim up some hanging parts with scissors.

Step 5: I cut a black rectangle mat to go behind the cloud border panel, and adhered the entire thing to a white card base. Then I colored up the unicorns and castle from the ME Unicorns and Rainbows Stamp Set. The clouds at the bottom of the card with the sentiment are from Lawn Fawn Simple Puffy Clouds.

I adhered the sentiment clouds, unicorns, and castle to the card with foam tape for extra dimension.

These are the products I used:

Don't forget to come join in the fun at the
Dies R Us Challenge Blog.  There's a new challenge theme offered on the 1st and 15th of each month, and one lucky randomly drawn winner will receive a gift voucher prize to the Dies R Us Store.  For your convenience, all the important Dies R Us links are provided below.
