The Greeting Farm October Stamp Feature Day 1: MINKIE CHRISTMAS

 Happy Monday everyone! We are on Day 1 of Stamp Features for the October 2022 New Release at The Greeting Farm. This month, TGF introduced 3 new stamp sets which are all available now for purchase. Today, I'm showcasing MINKIE CHRISTMAS. These little pint-size characters have a lot of spunk! I love that they are dressed up in Christmas costumes. Because of their small size, Minkies are perfect for planners and tags.

The backdrop is a Mama Elephant die. I colored the Minkies with Copic Markers.

 Today I created a Thanksgiving card using a beautiful word die from the Diamond Press Fall and Halloween Sentiment Dies. I love using large word dies as the focal point of a card. It allows me to make a card quickly without any coloring.

 

I used coordinating papers from Doodlebug Design Pumpkin Spice 6x6 Paper Pad. I love that IAR flowers come in so many gorgeous colors so I can match them to my project. They really add the WOW factor!

Jaded Blossom October 2022 Christmas Release BLOG HOP!

 Happy Thursday everyone! Welcome to Jaded Blossom's October 2022 Christmas Release BLOG HOP! Now, if you're here from Candace's Blog, you're in the right place.   For my project, I created a Scallop Caddy to hold a hot chocolate packet and two candy spoons. You can even slip a gift card inside with the cocoa to make an awesome Christmas gift! I used white embossing powder with the new Candy Cane Stencil to create the background paper. The Santa gnome was created using the Gnome Dies: Christmas Add Ons 1 with the original Gnome Dies (gnome body and coffee mug). 

On the coffee mug, I stamped one of the sentiments from the Christmas Candies *Grid Style* Stamp Set. I adhered the Santa Gnome to the caddy with foam tape.

On the back of the Scallop Caddy, I stamped two sentiments from the Merry Christmas Gnomie Stamp Set and heat embossed with white embossing powder.

Today, I created Lollipop holders for these cute Christmas lollipops I found on Amazon. It was a boxed set with various Christmas designs. I used the Santa and Reindeer lollipops for this project. I created my own background paper using stamps in the new Christmas Candies *Grid Style* Stamp Set. I used a mini Memento ink pad so I could apply ink to the image I wanted to work with. I stamped on Copic Xpress It Blending Card and colored the images with Copic Markers. Since I didn't do any shading, the coloring went quickly.

To create the larger circle tab, I used the Scallop Circle Dies and the Candy Grid Die with a couple of the sentiments from Christmas Candies *Grid Style*.

Jaded Blossom October 2022 Christmas Release: SNEAK PEEK DAY 2

 Happy Tuesday! We are on Day 2 of Sneak Peeks for the Jaded Blossom October 2022 Christmas Release. You can grab the "Gotta Have It Now Package" now for a discounted amount. If you wait until the release goes live on Thursday, the bundle price will go up. 

I had these larger gable boxes in my stash that hold 2 cupcakes so I thought they would be perfect with the Santa cupcake from the new Sweet Christmas Wishes Stamp Set. I tried to do white embossing on the gable boxes with the Candy Cane Stencil, and......it was almost a fail, LOL! I used anti-static powder on the outside of the box, but the embossing powder still wanted to stick to the entire glossy outside. I painstakingly used a small paintbrush to remove a lot of the random white powder around the candy canes. Lesson learned though, LOL!

 

After embossing the candy cane pattern on the box, I decided to add a small circle card. I cut a Scallop Circle along the folded edge of white cardstock to create a little circle card. Next I cut another scallop circle from red cardstock and glued it on top of the white card base. I used the Sweet Christmas Wishes Outline Dies to cut out the Santa Cupcake and adhered him to the card front with foam tape. 

On the inside of the card I stamped two sentiments from the Sweet Christmas Wishes Stamp Set. I also added little velcro dots to keep the card closed.

Christmas is my favorite holiday and my birthday month.....so these next Gnome Add-Ons make me smile ear to ear!! On the outside of my card, I combined the new Fireplace Die with the Gnome Dies: Christmas Add Ons 2 and the Merry Christmas Gnomie Stamp Set to create this cozy living room scene. I cut and glued multiple die-cuts together to create a lot of dimension to this fireplace. The frame around the sentiment was created using the Square Internal Scallops Dies 1.

I was originally going to squeeze my gnome elf on the front of the card, but I spent so much time creating the fireplace scene that I didn't want to cover half of it up. Instead, I decorated the inside of the card and added my gnome elf and a couple of the sentiments from the Merry Christmas Gnomie Stamp Set.

To create the gnome body, you do need to purchase the Girl Gnome Dies so you have the body, hair, and hands. If you follow me, then you also know that I like to move the hat up and create a face for my gnomes. These leg add-ons are a lot of fun too because you can make your gnomes standing.

On the right side of the card, I stamped a couple of sentiments and added the small tree from Gnome Dies: Christmas Add Ons 2. Of course, after completing the card, I realized I probably should have made the Santa gnome to tie in with the sentiment on the front of the card, but that will be for another time, LOL!

I was looking at the Sentiment Strip Dies, and thought they would make a great tree so I pulled them out to create this Christmas card. It's never to early to start and if you haven't been keeping up there are only 11 more weeks until Christmas.....you're welcome, LOL! 

 

 
I used the triangle from Birthday Banner Dies for the top of the tree. The star is from Gnome Dies: Halloween Costume Add Ons 2. The stitched rectangles were cut out using Rectangle Dies 1.
