The Greeting Farm Stamp Feature: K-POP IDOLS

Happy Friday everyone! We are on our last day of Stamp Features for the MAY Release at The Greeting Farm. Today, I'm showcasing a set called K-POP IDOLS. Although this set was designed around Korean Pop Music which has become extremely popular in the U.S., it's still really versatile for other occasions.

The Greeting Farm Stamp Feature: 3 WISHES

Happy Thursday everyone! We are on Day 2 of Stamp Features for the MAY Release at The Greeting Farm, and today I'm featuring a set called 3 WISHES. This set features 5 characters, 1 monkey, 4 sentiments and several more accessories! It's an awesome set perfect for all sorts of occasions. When I saw it, I immediately thought of Aladdin! So here is my Aladdin inspired card.

So if you look at the stamp set you will see that I did some altering to create Aladdin and the Genie. I stamped the girl genie that is standing and used her bottom half for Aladdin. I just cut him at the waist and glued him to the top of the girl (after trimming off her head). To create the bald genie, I just wiped off the top part of the stamp before stamping so I could draw in a bald head. Then I used the hair from genie on the magic carpet to create his ponytail.

The Greeting Farm Stamp Feature: CHEEKY PROUD!

Happy Wednesday everyone! We are on Day 1 of Stamp Features for the MAY Release at The Greeting Farm, and today I'm featuring a set called CHEEKY PROUD. I love the entire Cheeky line, and the fact that this one is a military gal just made me love them even more! My dad was in the Army so I made her an Army girl, but you could adjust the colors to represent various branches of the military. This time around I did some paper-piecing from an Army Digital Paper Pack I found on Etsy.

The background papers and hummer clip art are also from the same Army Digital Paper Pack. I created a speech bubble in word, printed it out and then stamped one of the sentiments from the Cheeky Proud set on to it. I fussy cut it out and raised the sentiment and Cheeky Proud on foam tape for extra dimension.

Jaded Blossom May Stamp Release BLOG HOP!

Hey Everyone! Welcome to Jaded Blossom's May Stamp Release Blog Hop.  

Now, if you arrived here from Cindy's Blog you're in the right place. If you're just passing through start at the beginning because you don't want to miss a thing. I also have the complete line up at the bottom.
I wanted to incorporate as many of the new products on my project as possible so I decided to make a Popup Box Card. The box shape was created using just 1 sheet of 12x12 paper! Instructions are HERE. This project includes all the new stamp sets including the FREEBIE, along with the Bitten Leaf Stencil and Honeycomb Card Mat Die. I had a lot of FUN with this one! The grassy panels were cut out using the grass die from the Mushroom Die Set.

  The dragonfly is glued to a clear piece of plastic so it looks like he's flying. I used the Baby Bugs Freebie Set for the bugs around the sentiment.

Today I altered an 8x8 wood frame. The amazing digital mermaid is from The Greeting Farm. This was an exclusive mermaid as part of the Mystery Boxes releases. I printed her on Xpress It Blending Card and colored her with Copic Markers.

I received a goodie box from Xyron which included the Mega Runner, X150 Sticker Maker, along with refills. This Xyron Bundle is an awesome deal, and....the items are sparkly blue! I LOVE them! The adhesive on the Mega Runner is AMAZING and really sticky! I used it to adhere the 2x2 squares to the frame. I ran the 1.25x2 rectangles through the sticker maker which makes adhering the decorative paper so much easier!

 

I added gorgeous flowers from I Am Roses to finish off the card. They really add a dramatic statement to any project! I used some gorgeous unicorn roses, along with cherry blossoms, small flowers, and tiny leaves.
