Jaded Blossom August 2022 Challenge: SKETCH!

Happy Sunday friends! It's the first Sunday of the month and that means we have a brand new challenge at Jaded Blossom.

 Our next challenge is a...

SKETCH CHALLENGE!
(must use at least 1 JB product)

**Remember, this is just a general guideline. Your card does not need to be girly. If you do a masculine theme, you could replace the ribbon/bow with a strip of cardstock or twine. The flowers can always be some other kind of embellishment like buttons or left off completely. It's totally up to your interpretation and creative style.

Challenge Guidelines:

1) Project must be new for this challenge, no back-linking

2) Project must have a Jaded Blossom stamp or die somewhere on it.

3) Only one entry per person

4) Link it up on the Jaded Blossom Blog by Saturday, 09/04/2022

I love bears and this one in the Pandas Are Awesome Stamp Set is so sweet and adorable! I colored the scene with Copics, and framed him using Square Internal Scallop Dies 1.

The beautiful green/gold paper is Japanese washi paper that was gifted to me by one of my friends. I'm finally putting it to use, LOL! The flowers are from I Am Roses. I found the awesome black/gold ribbon at Walmart.

This month's prize for a randomly selected winner is:

We hope you play along in the August Challenge for a chance to win a FREE Stamp Set! Be sure to check out the Jaded Blossom Store for all your stamps and gift giving supplies. They have various Cutting Dies to make party favors along with Favor Bags and Boxes.

Jaded Blossom: I LOVE the 80s GNOME!

Happy Friday friends! I recently saw some free Graffiti Brick Wall digital backgrounds and it made me reminisce about the 80s so I got creative and decided to combine some Jaded Blossom stamps and dies to create this 80s inspired gnome card! This took me back to my break dancing days and spending hours watching Breakin', Breakin 2, and Beat Streat (iykyk)! I had so much fun putting this together!

I used the Gnome Dies with the boom box and spray paint cans from the 80's Icons Stamp Set. The sentiment is from Love the 80's (which also has the boom box stamp). The gray panel, gnome, and spray paint cans are raised on foam tape for extra dimension.

Remember, Jaded Blossom has a current ANYTHING GOES Challenge. You have until August 6th to play along for a chance to win a free stamp set! And, be sure to check out the Jaded Blossom Store for all your stamps and gift giving supplies. They have various Cutting Dies to make party favors along with Favor Bags and Boxes.

Hugs,

Rosie

I Am Roses + Conie Fong's Priscilla

Jaded Blossom Fall 2022 Release BLOG HOP!

Happy Friday everyone! Welcome to Jaded Blossom's Fall 2022 Release Blog Hop. Now if you're here from Jamie's Blog, you're in the right place. If you're just passing through start at the beginning because you don't want to miss a thing. I also have the complete line up at the bottom.

For today's project, I used the Scallop Caddy Die to create a cute little treat box. I decorated the front with several of the new stamps and dies.

I made a gnome with a gourd hat, and holding a jack-o-lantern. I just LOVE these Gnome Dies: Fall Add Ons! The corn on the cob is from the freebie set Aww Shucks. I also added the Tree Stump Die behind the gnome. The sentiment on the gourd hat is from Fall Candies *Grid Style*. To finish off the box I added a ribbon handle.

Jaded Blossom Fall 2022 Release: SNEAK PEEK DAY 3

Happy Wednesday Friends! Today we are on Day 3 of Sneak Peeks for the Jaded Blossom Fall 2022 Release. Once again this release is full of a lot of amazing products....including another Gnome Add On. And if you know anything about me, you know I'm all about these GNOMES!! If you are a lover of all the Jaded Blossom things, then you definitely want to purchase the "Gotta Have It Now" package for the BEST deal.

Today, I'm showcasing the new DEER FRIEND Stamp Set, which also has an Outline Die available for purchase to make cutting things easy. Last month I showed how you could make quick cards using pre-printed card bases with the Udderly Fantastic Stamp Set. I decided to do the same thing with Deer Friend. There is no coloring involved so creating boxed sets as gifts for my friends is easy peasy!!

I bought these card sets from Hobby Lobby when they were on sale. I love how this deer image looks on the various backgrounds! I just wanted you to see that you don't have to color in this image if you don't want to. You can even create your own backgrounds by swiping ink pads across your card base. The possibilities are endless!

Jaded Blossom Fall 2022 Release: SNEAK PEEK DAY 2!

Happy Tuesday Friends! Today we are on Day 2 of Sneak Peeks for the Jaded Blossom Fall 2022 Release.

Today, I'm showcasing the new TREE STUMP DIE and FALL CANDIES *Grid Style* Stamp Set. I think any Thanksgiving attendee would LOVE to get one of these Gnome Handled Gift Boxes full of sweets! I used the new Gnome Dies: Fall Add Ons with the Gnome Dies to create my pumpkin pie eating gnome. The pumpkin pie, little pumpkins, sentiment, and leaves are from the Fall Candies Stamp Set. I just stamped each image separately and fussy cut them out. I thought it was a cute idea to have him eating the pumpkin pie, haha!

The "Happy Thanksgiving" sentiment strip was created using Mini Tag Dies 3.

One of the things I love doing to create dimension on my die-cuts is to cut the pieces from Copic Xpress It Blending Card and color them in with Copic Markers. It does take more time, but it allows me to create more depth. I also move the hat up so my gnome has a little bit of a face.
