Jaded Blossom March Release BLOG HOP!

 Happy Friday everyone! Welcome to Jaded Blossom's March Release Blog Hop. Now, if you're here from Marcia's Blog you're in the right place. If you're just passing through start at the beginning because you don't want to miss a thing. I also have the complete line up at the bottom.

  For my project today, I created a candy basket using several items from the new release. I had a blast creating with this release, and I know you will too!  

 I used the little bee gnome from Gnome Worries Bee Happy Stamps for the toppers on the Bit O Honey candy. I just taped them to the very top of the candy, and then glued/taped bamboo skewers to the back of candy. I put one of those garden foam rolls on the inside of the yellow tin to put the skewers in. All of this bee-themed candy was bought at Target.
 

 
To create the label, I used Buzzing With My Gnomies Stamps, Bee Stencil, Scallop Caddy Die, and Honeycomb Card Mat Die.

Jaded Blossom March 2021 Release: Sneak Peek Day 4

 Happy Thursday everyone! Today is Day 4 of Sneak Peeks for the Jaded Blossom March Release!  If you LOVE everything you have seen so far this week, then you definitely want to purchase the Gotta Have it Now Package, which will return to the Jaded Blossom Store on Friday. It's the best deal! 

For my project today, I created a coffee gift set with this adorable chick mug I found on Amazon. Isn't it CUTE?!! I created a topper for the White Chocolate coffee mix using the Ric Rac Topper Die. I also created a tag to tie on the mug using the Treat Tag Die. 

 
I don't normally put red and yellow together, but I followed the colors on the mug and I actually LOVE it! I colored the larger chick mug with Copics, fussy cut it out and adhered it to the topper with foam tape. I cut the sentiment apart after stamping it, then matted it on yellow and also raised the words on foam tape. To finish it off, I added enamel dots to the handle.

I did something a little different for the tag. I stamped the sentiment in yellow and then used a black multiliner to add the shadow. The small chick mug was colored with the same Copic colors listed above and raised on foam tape also.

Jaded Blossom March Release: Sneak Peek Day 3

 Happy Wednesday everyone! Today is Day 3 of Sneak Peeks for the Jaded Blossom MARCH 2021 Release, which is all about Spring and Easter. I always love Spring because the temperatures start to warm up and things start blooming! This release is full of so much goodness and you are going to love it all once again! To get the best deal, you will want to purchase the "Gotta Have It Now" package.

  For my project today I created a coffee gift set. I used Chicks Dig Coffee on the Scallop Caddy, and Spring Mugs on the Easter Egg Carton.  

 The tag was created using the Treat Tag Die. I colored the images with Copic Markers. The tag is raised on the pink gingham paper using foam tape.

Yellow: Y11, Y13, Y21, YR20, YR21
Stomach: E50, E51, E53
Orange: YR02, YR04, YR09
Brown: E21, E23, E25
  For the paper on the top of the egg carton, I cut the pink cardstock at 3.25x3.25 and the patterned paper at 3x3. I used a corner rounder to round the corners. The sentiment and chick are raised on foam tape. The inside has plastic eggs filled with chocolate covered coffee beans.

Jaded Blossom March Release: Sneak Peek Day 2

 Happy Tuesday everyone! Today is Day 2 of Sneak Peeks for the Jaded Blossom MARCH 2021 Release, which is all about Spring and Easter. I always love Spring because the temperatures start to warm up and things start blooming! This release is full of so much goodness and you are going to love it all once again! For my card today, I created a scene using all 3 stencils along with one of the sentiments from Easter Wishes. The little birdies are from Buzzing with my Gnomes Stamp Set. I stamped the sentiment on white cardstock using Versamark Embossing Ink and then heat embossed it with white embossing powder. Next, I lightly rubbed Stormy Sky Distress Oxide Ink over the sentiment area until the words could be seen. I laid the Raindrop Stencil over the top and rubbed more Stormy Sky Distress Oxide Ink to create the rain.

 

 The cloud border was created using one of the dies from the Mushroom Dies Set. I created the flower bottom using the new stencils and then fussy cut around the top of the flowers and leaves. I placed the panel on green cardstock and cut a similar border pattern so I could have a green mat behind the flowers. The final step was to add the cute little birds.

For my card today, I used the Sunburst Card Mat Die with the bee gnome and little bees from the Gnome Worries Bee Happy Stamp Set. I cut the sunburst from different sheets of patterned paper and chipboard. I glued the decorative paper onto two layers of chipboard cut-outs to create dimension.

 

 

I colored the bee gnome, fussy cut him out, and placed him inside the circle with foam tape. I stamped the sentiment and cut it apart and then matted it on yellow cardstock. They are also on foam tape.

 

 It's kind of hard to tell in the photos, but the solid yellow frame is glued flat to the card, and each decorative paper layer is raised up because they are glued onto layers of chipboard.

Jaded Blossom March 2021 Challenge: ANYTHING GOES

For today's card, I decided to create my own background paper. How fun is this?!! I love the fact that Jaded Blossom produces sets with large characters and small characters. I used the small llama in the Llama Tell You Stamp Set and the small star/rainbow stamp from Love The 80s for this background. The coloring was really quick also since I did one layer coloring with no shading.

 

 

I filled in the open spaces with mini stamps from the following sets:

Rainbow Doodle (flower)
Unicorns & Glitter (small stars and hearts)
Seasonal Tree (solid pink hearts)

Jaded Blossom: You Have A Heart Of Gold!

 Happy Friday everyone! I've been making more "organ" chocolates! For my project today I created two different bag toppers for these chocolate gifts. I found some edible gold powder that I wanted to try out. It works better on the dark chocolate hearts than the pink ones. Live and learn, haha! I also had left over chocolate hearts so I create a different version to give you a bonus idea.

 

I created the bag toppers using the Ric Rac Topper Die. The first set features the heart from Kawaii Guts Stamp Set and one of the sentiments from Organ Donor. I embossed them in gold and colored the main part of the heart with a gold paint pen. The pink was colored in using R81 Copic marker. I outlined the Ric Rac panel with the gold pen also.

 

 

For the second topper, I used the beautiful Fancy Heart Die and the same sentiment from Organ Donor heat embossed in gold.

 

  

I think these chocolate gift sets are perfect for any health care professional in your life! They are a lot of fun to make and they are unique and different. Plus, all our health care professionals deserve an extra treat during these difficult times!
