Inspiration Monday-RAINBOWS

Happy Monday y'all! Hope you had a great weekend! Mine was pretty good! Our neighbors watched Isaiah for a couple of hours on Saturday so the hubby and I could go out for dinner at a new steak restaurant that opened up recently called Hollies. It was really good, but I think the best part was just being able to focus on each other for a few hours and actually talk without any interruption!! When you have a 5-year old boy those opportunities are hard to come by, LOL!

Today's La-La Land Crafts Inspiration is:

For my image I decided to use the new CHA release Marci with Tulip. I love her curly hair!! She reminds me so much of my niece Sierra!

I took the Rainbow Challenge to the extreme, haha! I've got rainbow paper, rainbows drawn on Marci's dress, & a rainbow quote! I used my new Spellbinder Picot Edge Circles Nesties to cut the green polka dot paper (Echo Park) behind my sentiment.....so beautiful, I love this Nestie! I rubbed rainbow chalk colors on the sentiment paper and hand-wrote the lyrics from "Somewhere Over The Rainbow."

The background rainbow striped dp was a freebie from MelStampz located HERE. Mel is offering up all sorts of FREE paper downloads which is definitely going to help my pocket book. Well, not really because I still like to buy paper....sooooo pretty....my lovelies....okay, I admit it, I'm a crafting hoarder, LOL!

The polka dot dp is from Echo Park. The red velvet ribbon is from Michaels. The pearls are from Recollections. The butterfly is a sticker that came from my stash.

I used this absolutely adorable NEW CHA stamp from Stampavie (Tina Wenke) called Fairy Baby. I think this sweet little fairy baby is the cutest thing ever!! I also love how the wings turned out...very sheer and sparkly! I colored the image with Copics. Unfortunately, I didn't make a list as I was coloring, but below are the ones I remembered. :)

Inspiration Monday - The Great Outdoors

Happy Monday y'all! How was your weekend? Well, I'm finally on the mend. It took a trip to the Urgent Care on Monday night and then a trip to the ER on Tuesday night to finally get enough muscle relaxer and pain meds for me to finally move my neck!! I never realized how much I needed those muscles until I couldn't use them...it was horrible. You should have seen me trying to get up in the mornings....I could have won some serious money for that video footage, LOL! Now the hubby is getting sick (flu-like symptoms)....UGH!

It's time for another La-La Land Crafts Inspiration Monday and the theme this week is:

The Great Outdoors

This was the perfect opportunity to use some of the NEW CHA released stamps....they are ADORABLE!! In addition, there are several background images in this release so get them while you can, because they can be used with so many other images!! You can view the entire CHA release HERE!

For my Great Outdoor Easel Card, I used Cheeky Monkey Marci, Tire Swing, and Outlaw Luka. The sentiment, "Riding by to say Hi!" is from the Tricycle Marci set.

I cut the middle white frame with my new Cheery Lynn dies (French Flair-Scalloped XL-13) and chalked on some sky/clouds.

You can see a better view below of the Cheery Lynn French Flair Scalloped Stacker Die....again I chalked on the sky/clouds. Then I stamped the sentiment from Tricycle Marci on top. The pearl strip is from Recollections.

CropStop Challenge #57-Wedding/Anniversary Card

Happy Thursday y'all! How has your week been going? Mine's been a little crazy and painful! I somehow strained a muscle in my neck on Monday and it completely locked up on me....OUCH! I went to the Urgent Care and got some meds, but then on Tuesday it got worse to the point I couldn't move it at all. So, I ended up in the Emergency Room Tuesday night! Hours later along with an IV, pain meds, and a stronger muscle relaxer, I was doing much better...YAY! It still hurts, but at least I could turn it about an inch both ways yesterday and today....thank goodness for modern medicine! :)

Today's CropStop Challenge is to make a Wedding/Anniversary Card.

I have a few wedding images, but this one from The Greeting Farm called Kissy Kissy was calling my name. For those of you who don't know, I started my blog because I fell in love with these images and wanted to join in their challenges to try and win some free ones. The awesome dps and "happy" banner are from an Echo Park kit called A Walk in the Park. I'm loving these 12x12 kits!! The papers are double-sided and a lot of the designs are small enough to work well for cards. Plus you have sentiments and stickers included...perfect, right?!
