Hi friends! It's the first Sunday of the month and that means we have a brand new challenge at Jaded Blossom!
Our next challenge is an easy one:

today's card, I was inspired by an image I saw on the internet (I believe it came from Shutterstock). I remember Jaded Blossom came out with a Tree Stencil last year so I pulled it out along with my Versafine Black Ink. Why did I use the Verafine Ink instead of Black Soot Distress Ink? I felt like the Versafine Ink was juicier and gave a deeper black image. I cut a round circle from white cardstock and then used a small makeup blending brush to stipple and blend on the black ink using the different trees included on the stencil sheet. I LOVE how it came out!
I adhered the moon/tree circle on to a black card base using foam tape for a little dimension. The sentiment is from the Sweet Travels Stamp Set, and heat embossed at the bottom of the black card base using white embossing powder.
