C.C. Designs MAY RELEASE now in the store!!

OH MY WORD!! Check out these adorable girls that have just been released in the C.C. Designs Store!! I think Christine really out-did herself this time around because I seriously LOVE all 4 of these cuties, but I say that on every release, haha!! All of these stamps also have the outline dies available for purchase so you don't have to fussy cut your images.

My card today features Ready for the Rain. I stamped them both on Spectrum Noir Premium White Cardstock and colored them with Spectrum Noir Markers.

Skin: FS1, FS2, FS3, TN3, TN5
Hair/Shoes: TN3, EB3, EB8
Pink: CR3, CR4, CR5
Blue: BT2, BT4, BT5
Yellow: GB4

I decided to make an Easel Card because I wanted to use the new By DIEzyne Dies Half Circle. It's awesome because it cuts into the top of the card to make a half circle that pops up when the top part of the card is folded in half.

I also used By DIEzyne Stitched Circles and Stitched Banners Two. The little white clouds are part of the Little Cloudy Outline Die.

Here's what the card looks like when it's closed.

Now head over to the C.C. Designs Blog to see more cards featuring these cute girls in the May Release!! And don't forget to go purchase your new goodies NOW from the C.C. Designs Store!!

Little Darlings Rubber Stamps~SC Girl Power: Little Loves

Happy Thursday everyone! My blog is extra busy today, haha! I'm back to share my latest card for Little Darlings Rubber Stamps using this adorable gal called Saturated Canary Girl Power: Little Loves. I LOVE butterflies so I had to have this fabulous stamp! She is stamped on Spectrum Noir Premium White Cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored with Spectrum Noir Markers.

 Skin: FS1, FS2, FS3, TN3, TN5
Eyes: LG5, JG2
Lips: DR1, DR5, DR6
Hair: TN3, EB3, EB8
Dress: BT2, BT4, BT5
Butterfly: BT4, BT5, CR5, GB4

TIP OF THE DAY: I sprinkled Aged Taupe Frantage Embossing powder around my image, and used my Toaster to heat it from underneath to keep the particles from flying around! By using the toaster I can control where the particles go and if there are any on her face I can move them off before I heat it.

I used some dps from My Mind's Eye. The wood frame came from Michaels. I kept my card pretty simple to give it the feeling of a portrait hanging on the wall.

Now head over to the LDRS Store to get all your cute stamps and amazing dies! If you want to see more amazing creations from my fellow DT sisters, then head over to the LDRS Blog. And be sure to come have some fun with us on the LDRS Facebook Group!

Have a great Thursday!

7 Kids College Fund~Simply Gorjuss The Runaway

Happy Monday everyone! I hope you had an awesome weekend! I'm back today to share my card for 7 Kids College Fund using this adorable cutie from DoCrafts called Simply Gorjuss The Runaway. These are some of my favorite stamps ever and 7 Kids College Fund has all the NEW ones on Preorder HERE!! These will start shipping soon, and YES I've ordered them all, haha!!

I finally found my Ranger Gold Tinsel Embossing Powder! I decided to do something a little different from my normal coloring. So I stamped the image onto black cardstock with Versamark and then added the Gold Tinsel Embossing Powder. I LOVE it!!

I kept my 5x7 card pretty simple. I just backed the image with some gold decorative paper that I found in my stash and then applied foam to the back to raise it off the black card base. The awesome sentiment is from Mama Elephant Make A Wish Clear Stamp Set.

You can see more amazing inspiration from my fellow DT sisters on the 7 Kids College Fund STORE Blog! And don't forget you still have one more day to enter our current ANYTHING GOES Challenge on the 7 Kids College Fund Challenge Blog!

Crafter's Companion~Kimono Butterfly Silk

Crafter's Companion
Happy Sunday everyone! I hope you've had an awesome weekend so far! I'm back today to share a card for Crafter's Companion USA using Butterfly Silk from the new Kimono Series of stamps, dies and embossing folders! They are all so gorgeous!!

I tried something different this time around. I was originally going to emboss this in gold, but couldn't find my gold embossing powder. I didn't let that deter my from my vision for this card. So I stamped her on some kraft colored cardstock. Next, I used a Sharpie Gold Paint Pen and traced around the black lines. Then I used a fine Zig black pen and followed inside the gold outline and filled in the large areas with my Spectrum Noir Black marker. Once I colored all the black in I went over the gold lines again and then cleaned up the gold lines that were too thick with the Zig .01 Pen. Finally, I fussy cut the image out.

I used some origami paper and ribbon from my stash. The awesome butterfly in the top corner is from Die'sire Essentials Dies-Beautiful Butterflies. The sentiment is part of the Kimono Butterfly Silk Stamp Set.

Be sure to check out the Crafter's Companion Blog for all sorts of inspiration by my fellow DT Sisters, and to see some of the new product coming to the store! And don't forget to check out the Crafter's Companion FB Page for even more ideas!

Have an awesome week!
