Happy Monday everyone! Today is Day 1 of Sneak Peeks for the Jaded Blossom APRIL 2021 Release, which is a must have for all of you who knit, crochet and sew! This release is full of so much goodness and you are going to love it all once again! To get the best deal, you will want to purchase the "Gotta Have It Now" package.

For my project today, I used the Knit Stitch Stencil and inked up the front of a white gift bag in some pastel colors using Distress Oxide Inks: Wilted Violet, Tumbled Glass, Squeezed Lemonade, and Worn Lipstick. I overlapped the stencil to continue the pattern all the way to the bottom of the bag.

Next, I inked up a scrap piece of paper for the background of the square panel with the same DO Inks and then splattered water on it to create the light dots. I LOVE the new Square Internal Scallops Dies 1 Set! It created the perfect frame for this heart image from the Knit Happens Stamp Set.

For the month of April, Jaded Blossom is having a STENCIL CHALLENGE! I made a card previously for this challenge using the Tree Stencil (you can view it HERE), and decided to create a different type of card using the same stencil. I love that this stencil comes with both the outline and inset part of the stencil so you can do overlays on your project.

For this card, I used the main stencil and a combo of Distress Oxide Inks and Memento Ink to color in the trees. Then I laid the tree cut-outs over the colored trees so I could add the clouds and grassy area around the trees, but still be able to keep the crisp outline of the trees. Did you know you can also use die-cuts as stencils? I use the cloud border die from the Border Dies 2 Set and cut a piece of cardstock. Then I laid the cloud border down on my card panel and rubbed Broken China Distress Oxide Ink along the cloud edge. The sentiment is from the Seasonal Tree Stamp Set (retired).

We hope you play along in the April Challenge for a chance to win a FREE Stamp Set! Be sure to check out the Jaded Blossom Store for all your stamps and gift giving supplies. They have various Cutting Dies to make party favors along with Favor Bags and Boxes.

Jaded Blossom April 2021 Challenge: STENCILS

Hi friends! It's the first Sunday of the month and that means we have a brand new challenge at Jaded Blossom!

Our next challenge is an easy one:

(make any project using a stencil)

Challenge Guidelines:
1) Project must be new for this challenge, no back-linking
2) Project must have a Jaded Blossom stamp or die somewhere on it.
3) Only one entry per person
4) Link it up below by Saturday, 05/01/2021

This month's prize for a randomly selected winner is:

For today's card, I was inspired by an image I saw on the internet (I believe it came from Shutterstock). I remember Jaded Blossom came out with a Tree Stencil last year so I pulled it out along with my Versafine Black Ink. Why did I use the Verafine Ink instead of Black Soot Distress Ink? I felt like the Versafine Ink was juicier and gave a deeper black image. I cut a round circle from white cardstock and then used a small makeup blending brush to stipple and blend on the black ink using the different trees included on the stencil sheet. I LOVE how it came out!

I adhered the moon/tree circle on to a black card base using foam tape for a little dimension. The sentiment is from the Sweet Travels Stamp Set, and heat embossed at the bottom of the black card base using white embossing powder.

We hope you play along in the April Challenge for a chance to win a FREE Stamp Set! Be sure to check out the Jaded Blossom Store for all your stamps and gift giving supplies. They have various Cutting Dies to make party favors along with Favor Bags and Boxes.

Happy Tuesday everyone! Diamond Press went live on HSN a little bit ago showcasing their new BUTTERFLY FLYING CARD KIT and let me tell you, it's a HUGE hit!! These are literally flying off the shelves! I had a blast creating these cards and I know you will too! The best part is your recipient's face when they open the card!!

These butterflies are really easy to assemble so don't be intimidated at all! Here are the front and inside pictures of the 3 cards I created. I posted video of the butterflies in action on my Facebook page and also in the Diamond Press Users Facebook Group.

On this first card, I used the butterfly dies to cut the butterflies from the patterned paper. I then gold embossed each cut-out using the coordinating butterfly stamp. I glued the patterned paper that I cut the butterflies from to white cardstock. Then I glued just the bodies of each butterfly back in the space and bent the wings upward to create dimension.

For my 2nd card, I cut multiple small butterflies from digital rainbow paper. I then used the coordinating stamp and stamped on each cut out with Versamark Embossing Ink and heat embossed them in black ink.

For my last card, I stamped the large butterfly with embossing ink onto patterned paper and embossed the stamped image in gold. I die-cut the butterfly, glued it to pink paper and then used scissors to cut the pink border.

For the next set of cards, I used a kit that was previously sent out in December for those who have the HSN Marquis Autoship. It was very popular in December and several customers asked if it could be re-released for those who do not have the autoship. Diamond Press to the rescue!!

This set is so versatile and covers multiple holidays. It not only comes with stamps and dies, but also two beautiful embossing folders!

This card uses one of the embossing folders. I embossed watercolor cardstock, and then carefully went over the raised design with a gold paint pen. Next, I lightly colored the flowers in with Copic Markers, which made it look like watercolors. Happy Spring was die-cut from gold paper and glued in the open space.

The leaf border on this Give Thanks card is the 2nd embossing folder. I embossed it on kraft cardstock and then used Copic Markers to re-draw the lines and color in the leaves.

If you want any of these kits, then hurry to HSN and purchase them NOW! They are flying off the shelves and almost sold out!

Happy Tuesday everyone! Today, I am showcasing an easy and quick Easter project for all your coffee-loving friends and family! This is a Coffee Slider Gift Card Holder, and by adding beautiful I Am Roses flowers it went from just okay to WOW! My favorite large flowers to use as the focal point on my cards/projects are the R43 Roses. I have them in almost every color and they are the perfect size for most projects.

The dies and sentiment used on this project are from Jaded Blossom. I used the Coffee Slider Die for the shape of the gift card holder, and the Scallop Circle Die for the pink frame around the sentiment. The sentiment is from the Hello Beautiful Stamp Set.
Remember, you have until APRIL 8th to link up your project to our current ANYTHING GOES Challenge. Be sure to use a minimum of 3 I Am Roses products on your card to qualify for a prize. I can't wait to see what you make!

Happy Tuesday everyone! It's Rosie here today with my last DT post for Dies R Us. I had an amazing time with these wonderful ladies on the team, and want to wish the new ladies lots of fun and success! Today, I'm showing how I created this underwater ocean Shadow Box Card using Lawn Fawn products.

 Let's Get Started!

Step 1: I cut two pieces of the shadow box frame from the Lawn Fawn Shadow Box Card piece forms the front and one forms the back. I used the scallop frame from the Shadow Box Card Ocean Add On Dies to create the opening on the front panel. Then, I measured and cut pieces of decorative paper to glue to the inside back panel to create the ocean backdrop. Originally I was only going to put paper on the very back panel, but then decided to also add paper to the sides.

Step 2: After you glue the decorative paper to the inside, assemble the box. I use Scor-tape because then I don't have to wait for glue to dry.

Step 3: Now comes the fun part....decorating the inside! I cut two waves using the Ocean Add On Dies. I glued one close to the scallop opening. The other one was glued more in the middle of the box. I stamped the scuba diver, fishes, angler fish, and lobster from the Lawn Fawn You Are Sublime Stamps, colored them with Copics, and added them to the inside. I made the scuba diver a girl by adding some lashes. To create depth I add some of the elements on plastic strips and adhere to the back ocean wave panels with foam tape.

Step 4: I added the sentiment strip to the back of the shadow box using plastic strips also.

Here it is all assembled!
These are the products I used:

Jaded Blossom: Mini Clear Jar Release HOP!

Happy Friday everyone! We are so excited for the Jaded Blossom Clear Jar release! We have three new stamp sets and one new die! The die is the Outline and Shaker die for our Clear Jar Stamp Set. Not familiar with our Clear Jar stamp line? Click HERE.

Now if you're here from Marcia's Blog, you're in the right place. If you're just passing through start at the beginning because you don't want to miss a thing. I also have the complete line up at the bottom.

I made two gift sets with coordinating cards for this release. My first project is a treat gift set with Mamba Fruit Chews. For the card, I used the Clear Jar Stamps, Clear Jar: Fruit Add Ons, Clear Jar Outline Dies, Sunburst Card Mat, and Go Bananas Stamps (sentiment). The top of the jar features one of the sentiments from Hello Beautiful Stamps and the Scallop Circle Die.
I recently found my Shrinky Dink plastic guess what I made? Fruit shaker bits for these shaker jars! The individual fruit stamps shrink down to the perfect size.

For my 2nd project, I created a button-themed gift set. The buttons came in a plastic jar already. I just added a label to the lid and created a coordinating card this time using the Clear Jar: Crafty Add Ons Stamps and unicorn flowers from I Am Roses.

Buy the entire bundle at a discount! Regular price $64.99, sale price $59.99!
