C.C. Designs: SUMMER FUN!

Happy Wednesday everyone! I hope your week has been of to a great start! We had another amazing release at C.C. Designs this month...perfect for all your summer cards! You can check out the entire release HERE.

 

Today, I used the SUMMER FUN set to create this mermaid-licious card! I stamped the images on cryogen cardstock and colored them with Copics. The papers are a digital file from Miss Kate Cuttables called OCEANS OF FUN. I overlaid the Under The Sea Title on top of the bubble paper before I printed it. I cut a circle through the top of the card so you can see the sentiment, seaweed, and fish that are on the inside of the card.

Hair: C9, C7, BG18, BG13

Teal: BG11, BG13, BG15, BG18
Purple: V12, V15, V17
Pink: RV02, RV04, RV06, RV09

Green: YG23, YG25, YG67, G28

 

The cute sentiment is from another new stamp set called MERKINI. I cut out the sentiment using the Banners Accessories Dies. The inside of the card is decorated with more patterned paper from the same digital file. The fish, seaweed, and merman are from the Summer Fun Set.

You can see in the side view that the scalloped circle frame are several cut-outs glued together to form a thicker layer. The mermaids and sentiment are raised on foam tape.
