 Today, I created a slimline card using the latest Diamond Press Sending Love Slimline Card Kit. I love that this kit comes with card bases, ephemera, coordinating envelopes, along with some sentiment strips and bling! It makes creating a card easy peasy! 

 

 
To step it up a notch, I added gorgeous IAR flowers in two of the corners. The large flower is part of the R-43 Half White Half Rainbow Peonies. I love to use the R-43 peonies as my focal point! I then surrounded it with mint cherry blossoms, some smaller white and pink flowers, and mini green leaves.

Jaded Blossom March 2023 New Release BLOG HOP!

 Happy Thursday everyone! Welcome to Jaded Blossom's March 2023 New Release Blog Hop! Now, if you're here from Jamie's Blog, you're in the right place. If you're just passing through start at the beginning because you don't want to miss a thing. I also have the complete line up at the bottom.

  For my project, I used the Scallop Caddy Die to create a tag card. It can be tied to the carrot candy tube, but then displayed as a card once taken off.  

 
The carrot background was created using the Carrot Stencil. I cut a separate Scallop Caddy panel from green cardstock and tore it about an inch from the bottom to create the grassy area. The two carrots in the ground were created using the Build A Booth: Easter Add Ons. Of course, I had to squeeze a gnome on it, haha! I used the carrot hat from the Gnome Dies: Easter Add Ons 2, but cut it shorter. The sentiment is from the Easter Tweeting Stamp Set.

I wanted to make it look like the gnome was peeking out from the corner so I put him on the tag card at an angle and trimmed off the edges.

One of the things I love to do is to cut my die pieces from Copic Xpress It Blending Card and use my markers to color in the pieces. It just gives the finish product more dimension. I also like to move the gnome hat up a little and create a face for my gnome. I used the gnome hands to create the feet for the sitting chick. These chickies are just the sweetest!

This month we are focusing on Easter, and let me tell you this release is AMAZING!! We have some new gnome die add-ons which of course make me giddy, and a new add-on to the Booth! These products coordinate together beautifully. I had so much fun creating with this release! I used all the new products being showcased today to create this holder for some chocolate carrots. Isn't the Easter gnome adorable?!! 

To create the holder, I started off with the Crate Die. I trimmed off the top portion of the crate so it didn't stick out above the booth die. Then I cut the main shape of the booth from Kraft cardstock twice to go on the front and back of the crate die. I cut a white panel just a tad smaller than the booth and stenciled on the carrots to go on the bottom of the booth. I trimmed a white rectangle to create the "Carrots" sign. 

I used the rectangle panel from the Booth Dies to cut a piece from Kraft cardstock to go at the top of the booth so I could stamp Cottontail Farms. The Easter basket is from an older die set called Gnome Dies: Easter Add Ons. The chocolate carrots came from the Dollar Tree.

For my project today, I created an 80's themed card. I also made my own background paper using the cassette tape stamp from the 80's Icons Stamp Set. I love that there are several coordinating Jaded Blossom stamp sets with images small enough to create your own decorative paper! The boom box is from the Kawaii 80's Stamp Set. 

 

 
I used bright colors because....hello, the 80's! The awesome sentiment is from the Music To My Ears Stamp Set. I created the black scallop circle using the Scallop Circle Dies.

Jaded Blossom: Just A Little Corny Card

 Happy Friday everyone! I'm back today with my latest project for Jaded Blossom. If you've followed me for a bit then you know that I love to use smaller Jaded Blossom stamps to create my own background paper. For this card, I knew I wanted to use the adorable, quirky corn from the Aww Shucks Stamp Set. I remembered the Kawaii Candies 2 had a small corn image so I used it to stamp a random pattern on my paper and voila.....I had some cute patterned paper!

To create the scallop border on the patterned paper I used Border Dies 2. The awesome sentiment is from Gobble Up Gnomie Stamp Set. This card just makes me giggle!

I Am Roses + Conie Fong's Lulu and Lonnie Bundle of Love

 Happy Tuesday friends! Today's card is for I Am Roses, and features their gorgeous paper flowers with this digital image from Lulu and Lonnie Bundle of Love by Conie Fong. I love this sweet, adorable girl piggie! 

 

I know Valentine's Day has passed already, but I really wanted to color up this cutie! This image is also perfect for anniversaries or even sending love to friends and family....not just for Valentine's Day. I printed her on Copic Xpress It Blending Card and colored her with Copic markers.

To complete the card I added beautiful IAR flowers. I generally use the R43 Peony flower as my center focal point and then build out from there. This card also has white cherry blossoms and small flowers in mint and hot pink.

The Greeting Farm February 2023 Stamp Feature Day 3: YOU'RE SO TWEET

 Happy Tuesday everyone! We are on our last day of Stamp Features for the February 2023 New Release at The Greeting Farm. This month, TGF introduced 3 new stamp sets which are all available now for purchase. Claudette, Joni and I are on The Greeting Farm Blog showcasing the new release.

This next set called YOU'RE SO TWEET features the cutest, chubbiest, friendliest little birds ready to deliver a special gift to your recipient. I had so much fun creating this scene card!

 

I love that the tree branch is open on the end. This allowed me the ability to extend the lines to make one of the branches longer. I colored my images with Copic Markers, fussy cut them out and added them to the cloud background (created using a stencil and Broken China Distress Oxide Ink). The bottom birds and birdhouse are on foam tape for extra dimension.

Do you see my little birdie surprise? I used a craft knife to cut a hole in the birdhouse and then added one of the birds so he's peeking out of the hole. Isn't he adorable?

The Greeting Farm February 2023 Stamp Feature Day 2: LITTLE DREAMER

TGIF everyone! We are on Day 2 of Stamp Features for the February 2023 New Release at The Greeting Farm. This month, TGF introduced 3 new stamp sets which are all available now for purchase. Claudette, Joni and I are on The Greeting Farm Blog showcasing the new release. Don't forget about the TGF Blog Hop where 1 lucky person will take home all 3 stamp sets!

This next magical set is called LITTLE DREAMER. It comes with a bunny and cat on a whale of an adventure literally, along with some unicorns! It can be used to create so many different cards. It's a really versatile set. I used the stamps to create a night adventure scene.

 

I stamped the images on Xpress It Blending Card, colored them with Copic Markers, and fussy cut them out. I created the night sky using Distress Oxide Inks. To create the glowy areas around the moon and stars, I just laid the cut out pieces on white watercolor paper and added the ink around them using lighter DO Ink and then adding darker colors as I got further out. I watered down some white acrylic paint and splattered it over the inked card. Then I added the stamped images and cloud die-cut on top. The cloud and unicorns are raised on foam tape.
