Happy Wednesday friends! We have a special small Octagon Critter themed release going on over at Jaded Blossom!
I made several items with this new release! First up, I created two Octagon Boxes. I combined the Critter Add On with the Halloween Add Ons to create a seal and a walrus! To create the box, you will need to purchase the Octagon Box Die also. The sentiment strips were created in MS Word. I will be gluing those to the back of the box, but I added them to the top so you could see the pun for each one.
My next set of cards feature the new Large Glasses Dies! For the first card I layered 6 die cut frame pieces to create depth. I glued vellum in between the first and second layers of the glasses frame to make them foggy. The little pink hearts were cut out using a die from the Gnome Dies: Valentine Add Ons. The awesome sentiment is from Kawaii Sentiments 2.
To create this next card, I used a free online Eye Chart Maker. You type in your text and then the site will create a PDF to download. Once I downloaded it, I did copy and paste certain sections into MS Word so I could add additional space between the SPEC and TACULA for the eye glasses to fit. I cut the die from gold cardstock and then glued additional layers cut from black cardstock behind the gold to create more depth.
For my last card, I cut multiple layers of the cat-eye glasses from purple cardstock and glued them together to again create dimension. The I covered the top layer with Wink of Stella glitter and added jewels. I cut two of the black frames and then glued them to some cardstock from the Jaded Blossom Celebration 6x6 Paper Pad. The sentiment strip was cut out from a piece of paper in the Doodlebug Design Fairy Garden 6x6 Paper Pad.
