The Paper Shelter~WINTER BIRTHDAY with SENTIMENT!

Happy Wednesday everyone! I'm back today to share my latest creation for The Paper Shelter. These digi stamps and digi papers are AMAZING and really adorable!! The files even come with colored images so you can make your cards quickly and easily....with no coloring. I however love to color...to me that's the fun part and my stress reliever! :)

A new challenge starts today at The Paper Shelter Blog and the theme for the next week is:

WINTER BIRTHDAYS with a SENTIMENT!
Please use cold colors; white, blue, cold pink, lilacs etc.

At The Paper Shelter, there is a new challenge every week along with an awesome prize up for grabs!! What's the prize?? If you play with a TPS image and win, you get a $30 gift certificate to spend in The Paper Shelter STORE!! If you play in our challenge with a different image, you have a chance of  winning three digis of your choice. You can view all the challenge rules HERE.

For my card today, I used this super CUTE digi called Winter Princess. I think she's sooooo beautiful and I love her little birdie friend! I printed my image on X-Press It Blending Card and colored with Copics.

Copics:
Skin: E000, E00, E01, E02, E11
Hair: E44, E47, E49
Crown: YR23, YR24, B02, Stickles
Green: YG23, YG25, YG67
Blue: B000, B02, B05
Bird: R22, R24, R27,
Bird Hat/Scarf: YG23, YG25, Stickles
All the white furry areas got a coat of Stickles

I found some gorgeous glitter paper at Walmart from ColorBok and knew they were perfect for this Winter Birthday Card. The shape was cut out using a Spellbinders Grand Nestabilities Die. The ribbon and blue glitter swirls were also bought at Walmart. The flowers came from my stash. It's a really sparkly card! :)

To enter our "Winter Birthday with Sentiment" Challenge head over to The Paper Shelter Blog and link up your card using any image you like. You can enter a maximum of 3 times (but if you do link up 3 times, one of your entries must contain a Paper Shelter image). Be sure to use a new project please....no backlinking. This challenge will run until Tuesday, January 14th.

Have a great week!!
Rosie :)

Rosie, this is an eye-catcher. The shape of this card is beautiful....I love it and it makes it very unique. The image is adorable, but your coloring is fabulous. the bright blues and greens are perfect and I can't help resisting looking at this over and over. Gorgeous glittery embelishments, pretty little roses and flowrs and a perfect bow. And the red cardinal is GREAT with the blue and green of this card! Beautiful and I'm proud to be on the team with you. Hugs, Gail
