Designed To Color Challenge #22~TIE IT UP!

It's time for our newest challenge at Designed To Color, and this time around the Rainbow Crew will be showcasing their cards. Our challenge for the next two weeks is:

TIE IT UP!!
Use ribbon/twine, etc. to create a bow

Easy, peasy!! And as always we have another wonderful and awesome sponsor!! This time around the sponsor is SP and Company! The prize is 1 Single Stamp and 1 Stamp Set (winner's choice)!!
SP and Company Stamps - Champaign, Illinois

They have so many amazing products and a great line up of artists designing some gorgeous stamps for you. The variety is fabulous! Our design team used a little bit of everything to inspire you and you can view all the wonderful creations on the DTC Blog.

Remember, all you have to do is use a colored image and follow the theme and you're entered to win!

For my card today I used the super adorable Kissing Winter Bears, Gill Roberts Collection. Aren't they just the cutest things ever?!! I stamped them on X-Press It Blending Card with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. See the snowflakes in the background? I used a stylus and the Cuttlebug Snowflakes Embossing Folder to make them directly onto my background. If you lay the paper and embossing folder on a light table you can use the stylus to place the dots where you want them. Then I colored them white with Copic Opaque White.

 Copics:
Pink: R81, R83, R85
Green: YG25, YG67
Blue: B01, B04
Tan: E41, E42, E43
Bird: R22, R24, R27, YR04, Black
Sky: B000
Ground: N0, N2

The dps are from Carta Bella Merry & Bright 6x6 Paper Pad. My sentiment is from One Little Dreamer DATE NIGHT Clear Stamp Set. The bottom snowflake border was made using a Martha Stewart Border Punch. For a full list of supplies see below.

Elements: Snowflake Embossing Folder (Cuttlebug), Merry & Bright 6x6 Paper Pad (Carta Bella), Memento Tuxedo Black Ink, Versamark Black Ink (for sentiment), Sentiment-Date Night Clear Stamp Set (One Little Dreamer), Georgia Pacific Cardstock (Walmart), Snowflake Border Punch (Martha Stewart), Pink Polka Dot Ribbon (Walmart), Square Crystals (Martha Stewart), Scor-Tape, Fabri-Tac Glue

Now it's YOUR turn! We can't wait to see what you create with this fun challenge. Remember that all entries MUST have a colored image somewhere and follow the challenge requirements. Make sure we have a direct link to your creation. All generic links will be deleted. You can combine this with as many challenges as you want, but make sure that DTC is listed. You have until October 31, 2013 at 12pm MST to enter on the DTC BLOG!

Hugs,
Rosie :)
