Jaded Blossom September 2021 Release: SNEAK PEEK DAY 4

Today, we are revealing the FREEBIE stamp set called BLACK CAT BREWERY. For my project, I stamped the tag size stamp onto my white card base and rubbed Distress Oxide ink over it. Then I stamped the potion bottle on black cardstock and heat embossed the design with Olive Embossing Powder. The scallop border was cut using Border Dies 2. 

I raised the black panel on foam tape for extra dimension, and finished off the card with some enamel dots.

 Happy Wednesday everyone! Today is Day 3 of Sneak Peeks for the Jaded Blossom SEPTEMBER 2021 Release. Who loves Halloween?! Today, I used the Crate Die to create a holder for some Keurig coffee pods, along with some chocolate kisses along the bottom. I used white embossing powder with the stamped image on black cardstock. But wait.....there's a surprise!

 

 

 I stamped the image again on glow-in-the-dark paper, cut out the liquid parts, and glued it to the image. Now when I turn off the lights the liquid glows!!

The Greeting Farm Digi Stamp Feature: JUST MARRIED

 Happy Wednesday everyone! Today, we have a Digital Stamp Feature for The Greeting Farm showcasing the new digi released on September 1st called JUST MARRIED. It has all the elements to create the ultimate wedding scene. It came at the perfect time also because my gorgeous niece is getting married this Friday. We are so excited for her!

 I used one of the dresses in the digi set and printed it twice...once on white cardstock and once on vellum. I used a floral stamp to stamp on the vellum with embossing ink and used white embossing powder on top. I cut it out and glued it on top of the white cardstock dress. I trimmed a little belt from white cardstock and used a silver glitter pen to color it in. 

The black dress form, dress stand, and "gorgeous" die cut word are from Diamond Press. The pretty paper is from a Park Lane Paper Pad called Fashionista.

Today, I used the BATTY FOR YOU Stamps with the Treat Tag Die to create this fang-tastic tag for some vampire teeth with candy blood. I embossed the stamp with white embossing powder. Then I stamped the extra bats and the gnome on Xpress-It Blending Card and colored them with Copics. I used the Batty For You Outline Dies to cut out the bats and gnome and adhered them to the tag for extra dimension.

 I got these vampire treats from the Dollar Tree. :)

I used the Octagon Treat Box to create the box shape. Then I cut the vampire pieces from the Halloween Add Ons to create this adorable vampire bat box. It holds some vampire teeth and candy blood. 

On the back of the box I used one of the sentiments from the Large Halloween Treats Stamps and added red googly eyes around it.

The Greeting Farm Stamp Feature Day 3: HOLIDAY ANYA 9

Happy Monday everyone! I hope you had a great weekend. We are on Day 3 of Stamp Features for the SEPTEMBER 2021 RELEASE at The Greeting Farm. This month TGF introduced 3 new stamp sets! Claudette, Joni and I are on The Greeting Farm Blog showcasing the new release.

Every year Marie comes up with a new Anya for the holidays and once again she hit it out of the park. Say hello to HOLIDAY ANYA 9! I love her beret and outfit! For this sweet girl, I decided to do some paper-piecing. This is a great way to use up some of those paper scraps. Isn't she stylish as she heads out to her Christmas party.

Today's set called MEOWY CHRISTMAS features 3 adorable kitties decorating the tree while snacking on cookies. I mean seriously, cookies and decorating....what could be better?

I used paper to create a living room scene for the cat and tree and then backed it with paper with similar colors.

I Am Roses September 2021 Challenge: ANYTHING GOES!

 It's The 15th of the month, and we are back with a brand new I Am Roses ANYTHING GOES Challenge! Come play along for a chance at 1 of the 4 prizes up for grabs!

I have been slowly creating some Halloween decor for around the house. I don't go all out like I used since my boy has grown up, but a little bit here and there helps me get into the decorating spirit. Today, I created a canvas wall hanging using an image from one of my favorite artists, Krista Smith. This digi is called Witchkeys. It's an older image, and I don't see it in her Etsy Store. She does have this adorable trio in the store called Witches.

 

I painted the canvas black on all sides and along the front edges. I then added decorative paper and rounded the corners. I colored the witches with Copic markers, and added the gorgeous IAR flowers along the edges. To finish it off, I added 16mm plaid beads on to some twine, tied knots on the ends, and glued the ends to the back of the canvas.

Jaded Blossom: BOO Banner

 Happy Friday everyone! I'm back with a new Halloween creation featuring some awesome products from Jaded Blossom. I haven't decorated for Halloween in a while since my little boy has grown up on me and become a teenager. When he was little he loved for us to go all out. Fortunately, I have friends I can gift all my Halloween makes to! 

Today, I am showing off this cute BOO Banner I made using the Scallop Caddy Die. I just trimmed the sides and bottom off and used the front panel of the Scallop Caddy to create the banner shape. The large chipboard letters for the word BOO came from Hobby Lobby. 

 I colored up the monsters from Monster Munchies and Rawr with Copic Markers and added them to each panel. The paper and little sentiment squares are from Doodlebug Design Ghost Town 6x6 Paper Pad. I purchased the buffalo plaid beads from Amazon.

 Hi friends! It's the first Sunday of the month and that means we have a brand new challenge at Jaded Blossom!

 Our next challenge is an easy one:

School has started back up for most kids. Our teenager is doing online school again this year and starts this coming week. I loved it when he was little and I would help with the homeroom parties. I also loved making unique teacher gifts. This next project is sure to delight any teacher! I mean seriously what teacher couldn't do with more pencils and chocolate?! I used the Scallop Caddy Die for the box and designed the front to be a pencil. The word "thanks" is from Basic Word Dies. I also used the Scallop Rectangle Dies to create the scallop border on the pencil.
