For my card today, I created a fireworks scene using the new Firework Stencil, along with the American Flag Dies and America Strong Stamp Set. I printed some rainbow colored paper, and added versamark embossing ink and white embossing powder to the stars only. Next, I went over the entire stencil with versamark embossing ink and this time added clear embossing powder. After heat embossing, I rubbed black ink over the entire paper while wiping the black ink off the embossed areas so the colors showed through.

To create the portion at the bottom of the card, I used Christmas Scenic Dies, and cut the deer out.

On my first card design, I added two small little gnomes from Build A Booth: Gnome Add Ons in all black to complete the black silhouette design. After taking pictures of my card, I realized it was really difficult to see the gnomes. I also felt the bottom of the card needed some color.

So, I revised it and added colored paper to define the boy and girl gnomes.
