Happy Monday everyone! I have some exciting news to announce!! For the month of March, I get the privilege of being a Guest Designer for Sparkle Creations!!
Have you seen these CUTE stamps?!! You can view all of them HERE, but also check out the SALE area because there are a ton that are only $5.00, WOOT, WOOT! I snagged up quite a few, but don't tell the hubby, LOL!
They also have awesome challenges where you can join in on the fun to try to win some free stamps. Be sure to check out the Challenge Blog HERE! You have to use a Sparkle Creations Rubber Stamp so go take advantage of that sale. :)
Today starts a new challenge over on the Sparkle Creations Rubber Stamps Blog, which is based off this sketch by Kim:
Awesome, right?!! You have until Sunday, 03/24/13 @ 9 PM PST to play along with our new challenge!!
For my card today, I used Soccer Josh. My little boy, Isaiah, loves soccer so we signed him up for a soccer league. He has practices every Wednesday and Thursday, and then games on Saturday so we're pretty busy. He hates the practices, but loves the games, LOL!
Copics:
Skin: E000, E00, E01, E11
Hair: E44, E47, E49
Red: R24, R27, R29, R89
Black: C5, C7, Black
Grass: G07, G14, G24, G28
Sky: Chalk
I found an awesome sports paper pack from Karen Foster Designs called SPORTS. It covers basketball, football, baseball, and soccer....yippee!! The "SCORE" sentiment also comes with Soccer Josh.
I printed an extra image and cut out the soccer ball and place it on pop-dot for added dimension. I also raised the panel with Soccer Josh on pop-dots. You can see it better in this side view:
To play along in our challenge, upload a photo of your project and
provide a direct link in the linky widget at the bottom of the SCRS
post. If for any reason the linky isn't there, please add a link to your
challenge creation in the comments section. If you use an online gallery
(e.g. Splitcoast), please also use the keywords SCRSC99 and SparkleCreations (no spaces). If you have a Facebook account and are a fan of Sparkle Creations Rubber Stamps, you can also upload there.
Have a great week!
Hugs,
Rosie :)

This is so super adorable, I love the image and the dp you picked is so perfect with him.
These papers are really perfect for a boy's card. Most of the guys here are crazy about soccer. It's great Isaih likes it too - it's definitely a great exercise. :)
I love the sky background you created. That's something I still need to learn how to do. Your card is awesome! Hugs! xx
