Dies R Us: Lawn Fawn Screen Time!

Happy Thursday everyone! It's Rosie here today sharing a couple of easy peasy cards using the same stamp and die sets. I LOVE sets that are versatile enough to get many uses out of them, and Lawn Fawn SCREEN TIME totally fits the bill. This set gives you lots of options so you can make a gaming or birthday card for a child or an adult along with lovey dovey cards. I've showed you how to make both!

++++++++++++++++++++++++
The links to all of the products used from the Dies R Us Store are shown below. Here is a step-by-step of how I created this card.
The first step was to stamp and color the images. Then, I used the coordinating die set to cut them all out. The Polaroid and cell phone die-cuts are from the Lawn Fawn Selfie Frames Die Set.

I wanted it to look like the characters were actually holding the controllers and the cell phones so I used a craft knife to cut around their hands. For the gamers, I cut around both hands. For the couple, I just cut around one hand to hold the cell phone so the other hand was free to text.

That's pretty much it! I added red paper to fill in the middle of the Polaroid and black paper for the cell phone. The sentiments are from the Screen Time Set. The "oh snap" die is part of the the Lawn Fawn Selfie Frames Die.

Dies R Us: Thinking of You with Gorjuss Little Fishes Die!

Happy Sunday everyone! It's Rosie here today sharing this card using one of the Gorjuss Girl dies. I LOVE these characters so when they came out with dies that allow you to make your own paper dolls I had to buy every single one! I paired her with the Sue Wilson Circle Scene-Garden Die to create this fabulous scene card.

++++++++++++++++++++++++

The links to all of the products used from the Dies R Us Store are shown below. Here is a step-by-step of how I created this card.
The first step was to cut out all the pieces for the paper doll. I decided to cut some of the pieces from white and color them in to get more depth to my image. I also colored parts of the cut-outs in black so that when I layered the pieces there wouldn't be a white border.

The next step was to start gluing the pieces together. These dies do not have step-by-step instructions so I hope this tutorial gives you a better idea of how to layer all the pieces. I glued the large hair piece behind the main image since that is the back part of her hair. Then the blue bottom portion of her dress goes on top of the main doll form. On the 2nd body form I glued on the dress. On the head, I glued the headband to the hair piece first and then glued her hair to the face cut-out.

Next, I glued the dress/leggings cut-out to the top of the main body.

Finally her face and bow were glued on.

To create the card, I used the Sue Wilson Circle Scene-Garden Die Set. The great thing about the fence, grass, and flower dies is that you can form a long continuous piece because the ends are not scored to cut the paper! Then you can come back in and line up the circle die to cut it where you want. Or if you want to use it to create a scene on a rectangle or square card, you have that option because you can keep layering the die to make a long continuous piece....AWESOME!

To create the circle scene, I cut out two circles from watercolor paper and colored in some sky and grass. The 2nd circle was used to cut out the grassy panel at the bottom of the card.

And....here is the completed card! I raised the girl and sentiment on foam squares for added dimension.

Dies R Us: Sealed with a Kiss

Happy Thursday everyone! It's Rosie here today sharing this cute gift card envelope featuring Lawn Fawn stamps and dies! I am a mom of one son and I'm always looking for quick and easy projects for teacher gifts. While this particular project is more lovey dovey, it can easily be adapted to a teacher theme!

++++++++++++++++++++++++
The links to all of the products used from the Dies R Us Store are shown below. Here is a step-by-step of how I created this envelope.

The first step in making this was to pick out paper with a pattern on both sides. This makes for a cuter, decorated inside and outside. I used the Lawn Fawn Stitched Heart Envelope Die to cut out the large heart shape.

After folding on the scored lines, I cut out the heart and glued just the top of the heart to the folded flap.

Underneath the heart I added double stick tape so it can be sealed later.

  To decorate the front of the envelope I pulled out Lawn Fawn Sealed With A Kiss. Aren't these seals adorable?! And the best part......no coloring! I just stamped them on light gray cardstock, cut them out, and then used Black Soot Distress Ink around the edges.

After stamping the sentiment, I doodled around the edge of the rectangle and then added enamel dots. The seals and M'WAH speech bubble are raised on foam squares.

The envelope needed a gift card so I grabbed one from my purse to show that they fit perfectly in the heart envelope!
