Happy Wednesday everyone! I hope you've been having a great week so far. Today starts a new challenge at the 7 Kids College Fund Challenge Blog.
The theme for the next two weeks is easy peasy because it's:
ANYTHING GOES!
Today,
I've used this gorgeous stamp from DoCrafts called Simply Gorjuss The Pretend Friend. I love this entire line of stamps!! The Gorjuss Girl line is
seriously one of my top faves!! She's stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black
Ink onto X-Press It Blending Card, and colored
with Copics.
I sprinkled Stampendous Shabby Pink Embossing Enamel all around the edge of my image and usted my toaster to heat emboss it. Using the toaster is my trick to keep the powder in place and not move all over my image (I'm not coordinated enough to hold the heat gun under the image while holding the paper with one hand!). My gorgeous dps are from Wild Rose Studio Icing on the Cake 6x6 Paper Pad. The Happy Birthday banner is a die from Memory Box. I also added die-cut feathers from Spellbinders.

Let me tell ya, I was a little scared to color this! It's so out of my comfort zone to color something with so much detail. I kept staring at it and psyching myself out. But once I got over my fear and just started coloring what was familiar to me...like her skin and hair, the rest sort of fell together. We've got to challenge ourselves to get better, right?!! I added Stardust Stickles to her shell bra, crown and staff. Then I used Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Marker on her tail. She's pretty sparkly in real life! I also outlined parts of her tail with Copic Opaque White. I got this idea from my friend Elise, but I think I need a thinner white pen!
The decorative background paper is from DCWV
The Colorful Life Stack. The papers are based on artwork by Donna Estabrooks and have a mixed media feel to them. The sea horse charm is from Walmart. The blue trim is from Websters Pages and the raffia was in my stash. The beautiful white leaves and flowers were from my friend Carisa...thank you girl...I'm putting those flowers to use!!
Now be sure to head over to the Little Miss Muffet Challenge Blog to see the entire Blog Hop List! You'll definitely want to check out all the creations and new images showcased by my fellow DT sisters!!

For my card today, I used this new digi called Just Me! She took me a while to color. I'm still learning how to color pleats and clothes. It totally helped me with all the pleats in this cutie!!

my latest card for Little Miss Muffet Stamps.
Before I get to my card, I just wanted to let you know we have a SKETCH CHALLENGE going on right now on the Little Miss Muffet Challenge Blog. My card below is based on this SKETCH on the LMMS Blog:
Today I'm showcasing this fun stamp called Fancy Sunbonnet Patriotic USA. She's perfect for 4th of July, but I think she would also make an awesome birthday card! I stamped
her on X-Press It Blending Card and colored her with Copics.

Ink, and colored

My
cute
dps are from Doodlebug Sweet Shoppe 6x6 Paper Pad. I glued two Trimcraft doilies together, cut it in half, and placed it on top of my dps. The tag in the middle was cut out using the Marianne Design Labels Creatables Die. The pearls are from Trimcraft. The pink trim on the tag and the yellow ribbon were in my stash. If you can't tell already, pink and teal are two of my favorite colors! :)
We
hope to see you playing along with us over the next 2 weeks. Remember
