Jaded Blossom February 2026 Challenge: STENCILS

Happy February friends! It's the first Sunday of the month, and that means we have a brand new challenge at Jaded Blossom.

Jaded Blossom is having a STENCIL SALE this month!! To coincide with the sale, the Challenge for February is:

STENCILS!

(must use at least one Jaded Blossom Product)

 
Challenge Guidelines: 

1) Project must be new for this challenge, no back linking

2) Project must have a Jaded Blossom stamp, die, or stencil somewhere on it. 

3) Only one entry per person

4) Add your card to the Facebook February 2026 Challenge Album by Saturday, 02/28/2026

You don't have to have a blog to play along! You can upload your card to the Challenge Album in the Jaded Blossom's Garden of Creativity Facebook Group. 

Click on "Media" > "Albums". Find the challenge album for the month and click on it. Then click "Add Photos". After you upload your card to the challenge album, refresh your page, and leave a comment under your card for it to show up on the Discussion page.

My mother-in-law's birthday is coming up and her favorite color is purple. I challenged myself to use some Jaded Blossom stencils in my stash that haven't been inked up yet. I wanted to create something that looked similar to cake, so I used Candy Drip Stencil and Fabric Stencil with Wilted Violet Distress Oxide Ink to mimic frosting. The pink color is Spun Sugar Distress Oxide Ink.

 

 

The sentiment was created using Birthday Word Dies. I raised the words on foam tape for extra dimension. To create the small white circles, I thinned out some white acrylic paint with a little water and used the end of a paint brush. I meant to round the top corners before taking a picture, but forgot. It would probably look more like cake if I glued some candles at the top. I still have time to play around with the design before her birthday.
