Conie Fong: TURKEY CANDY CANE

Happy Monday friends! I'm back today with a Christmas card featuring Turkey Candy Cane which is one of the images from Conie Fong's Turkey Bundle. These turkeys are so much fun! This bundle comes with a variety of images that are perfect for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and even Birthdays.

To finish off the card, I added gorgeous colorful flowers from I Am RosesThe large white flower is the R43 Snow White Peony. I then added Red Cherry Blossoms, followed by S10m White Achillea Cottage, S10m Red Small Achillea Cottage, and Tiny Green Leaves. In case you were wondering, IAR challenges will resume in January for a chance at winning prizes!!

hope you grab some images from Conie Fong and share your creations in the Conie Fong Art and Design Facebook Group. Conie also created a YouTube Channel called DRAW WITH CONIE to walk you step-by-step on how to draw various images. If you happen to give drawing a try, we would love for you to join the Draw With Conie Facebook Group so we can Ooooh and Aaaaah over your work!

Jaded Blossom: DERPY and ZOEY K-Pop Demon Hunters Octagon Treat Boxes

Happy Friday everyone! I'm veering off course a little bit from Christmas projects to bring you K-pop Demon Hunters Octagon Treat Boxes using products from Jaded Blossom. Even though they are not technically Christmas, I'm sure there are a lot of kids and adults who would love a gift card or some candy delivered in one of these treat boxes. Today, I'm showing DERPY and ZOEY. I'm still working on Rumi and Mira so stay tuned!

It took me a while to go through all my Jaded Blossom Dies to see which pieces I could use to create these characters. Derpy took me the longest because I had to color and shade some of the die cut pieces.

DIES USED:
Octagon Treat Box Die
Ears: Octagon Dies: Christmas Add Ons 2
(used black ink around the edge of ears and white colored pencil  to draw fine lines)
Black Cat Eye Shape: Gnome Dies: Sport Add Ons 1
(traced around the football die larger to create black cat eye)
Yellow Eyeball: Octagon Dies: Halloween Add Ons
(used Copics R24, YR09, YR04, Y15 around the yellow cardstock)
Black Pupil of eye: Octagon Dies: Christmas Add Ons 2
Nose: Octagon Dies: Christmas Add Ons 2
Small Teeth: Gnome Dies: Monster Add Ons 1
Large Teeth: Gnome Dies: Monster Add Ons 2
Mouth Shape: Hand Drawn
Used White and Light Blue Colored Pencils around the eyes and for the whiskers.
Used Black Colored Pencil for eye brow stripes and circles.

The hardest part for the human characters is figuring out the hair. I am still playing around with hair ideas for Rumi and Mira so they will be coming later. But, in the meantime, here is ZOEY!

DIES USED:
Octagon Treat Box Die
Bangs: Octagon Dies: Halloween Add Ons
Side Hair Pieces: Fancy Pumpkin Die
Hair Buns: Stitched Circle Dies
Eyebrows: Octagon Dies: Turkey Add Ons
Eyes: Octagon Dies: Halloween Add Ons
(I cut the larger circles in the die set from both black and white cardstock so I could layer the black behind the white to create the look of eyeliner)
Black Pupil of Eye: Octagon Dies: Halloween Add Ons
(I used a white gel pen to add the white circle)
Eyelashes / Mouth: Octagon Dies: Christmas Add Ons 2
Used chalk for cheeks

Christmas is quickly approaching and everyone needs gift tags right? I added the various dies from the Build An Ornament Die: Character Add Ons to the Treat Tag Die to create a Santa and Elf tag.

I use the smaller Treat Tag Die and cut it from cream, red, green, and white cardstock. Next, I used the Stitched Circle Dies to cut the red, white, and green tags to form the red hat, white beard, green hat, and green shirt. The adorable elf face is from Gingerbread Faces Stamp Set.

The Greeting Farm NEW DIGI RELEASE: Gift Wrap Anya and Santa's Favorite Ian!

Happy Wednesday everyone! The holidays are quickly approaching so today The Greeting Farm is releasing two NEW Digital Stamp Sets: Gift Wrap Anya and Santa's Favorite Ian!

The great thing about digis is that they give you creative freedom by allowing you the option to layer images, resize, flip, and customize scenes before printing. Not to mention you get instant access so you don't have to wait on shipping. These sets also come with a summary sheet of all the images so if you aren't tech savvy you can just print the summary sheet, color the images, use scissors to cut them out, and then build your scene.

For my card today, I used Gift Wrap Anya. Instead of trying to build the scene digitally, I printed the summary sheet that comes with the digi set, colored each image, and fussy cut them out.

I printed some wood digital paper and combined it with printed paper to create the living room scene. Next
, I layered the images onto the card base raising parts of the images on foam tape for more dimension.

GIFT WRAP ANYA is the perfect digital stamp set for capturing the magic of the holidays. With so many images included, you can create amazing cards, gift tags, and scrapbook pages. This charming collection of digis features Anya cozied up on a furry rug as she wraps a special gift, surrounded by all the festive essentials: a comfy chair, twinkling Christmas tree, extra presents, rolls of wrapping paper, tape, scissors, ribbon, and twine. To keep the holiday spirit sweet, she's also treating herself to a mug of hot cocoa and a plate of cookies. This set celebrates the joy of giving.

SANTA'S FAVORITE IAN is a heartwarming digital stamp set that celebrates the delight of Christmas morning. Ian sits happily with his adorable puppy surrounded by the wonderful toys Santa brought: an impressive train set, classic nutcracker, playful robot, toy car, cuddly teddy bear, and cute snowman stuffie, with a few unopened presents still waiting to surprise him. The scene is set with a cozy chair and coffee table topped with a steaming cup of hot cocoa and a tray of fabulous cookies. This set captures the excitement of childhood wonder and the magic of Christmas.

Be sure to grab these awesome digi sets today so you can get started on those holiday cards and gift tags! I'll be back later in the week to showcase the card I made using Santa's Favorite Ian.

Hugs,
Rosie
