Now it's time to take a look at our new DIE called Fancy Pumpkin Die. Isn't it gorgeous?!
My first card earlier in the week using this amazing die set was Halloween themed. But today I went totally FALL! Fall is my favorite season. I love the cooler weather and all the beautiful colors. The house we live in now has huge, gorgeous trees in the backyard and when the leaves change color it's amazing!
See those colorful leaves on the background paper? I used the distress oxide ink squishing technique to create patterned paper, and then die cut all the leaves.
Next, I took a sheet of kraft cardstock, rubbed Espresso Distress Oxide Ink over it, and splattered water on top. Then I glued the leaves on it in a random pattern and trimmed off the edges. I also cut the main pumpkin shape from orange paper and rubbed some Distress Oxide Ink on top and splattered it with water to get the cool effect. The awesome sentiment is from Jaded Blossom Scarecrow Kisses. I used the Scallop Rectangle Dies 1 to create the card shape.
