Jaded Blossom: CHRISTMAS SNOW GLOBES!

Happy Friday everyone! I know Thanksgiving is right around the corner, but so is Christmas so it's time to get started making those holiday cards! I've got two cards for you today using only two die sets from Jaded Blossom: Snowglobe Die and Christmas Scenic Dies. I love that the Snowglobe Die is large enough to create a shaped card base.

I inked up both backgrounds with Distress Oxide Ink. Then I watered down some white acrylic paint and used a fan paint brush to splatter the white paint for the stars. On the first snow globe, I used the deer die, and a sentiment from Hello Deer Stamp Set

On the 2nd snow globe, I used the Manger scene and a sentiment from Christmas Blessings Stamp Set.

Remember, we have a current "ANYTHING GOES" Challenge until November 30th for a chance at winning a free stamp set! You don't have to have a blog to play along. You can load your card to the Jaded Blossom's Garden of Creativity Facebook Group and then add your link from Facebook. There are instructions HERE to help you!

Next week starting 11/26 until 12/02, Jaded Blossom will be having a Black Friday SALE and RELEASE! It's the perfect time to grab all your favorite stamps and dies at a discounted price! They only have two sales a year (one in July and this one), so don't snooze on all the deals!

Have a great weekend!

Today, I created a Halloween Snow Globe Party Favor with a Frankenstein theme. I saw these cute marshmallows, and used the Crate Die with the Snowglobe Die to create this favor box. Isn't it fun?!!

The Frankenstein Gnome and sentiment are from the Brewing With My Gnomies Stamp Set. I used the Halloween Scenic Dies to make the background scene. The little ghosts are from Doodlebug Design Shakers.

Jaded Blossom May 2024 Release: SNEAK PEEK DAY 3

Happy Wednesday Friends! Today, we are on Day 3 of Sneak Peeks for the Jaded Blossom May 2024 Release. You can grab the "Gotta Have It Now Package" for a discounted amount. If you wait until the release goes live, the bundle price will go up.

This new release is mermazing! Today's sneak peek features the Embellishment Cluster Die that can be used in so many different ways. You can glue the various shapes directly to your card or you can make your own shaker bits.....which is what I did! I knew when I saw the Mermaid Silhouette Stencil (FREEBIE offer) that I wanted to make a shaker Snow Globe.

I had some glitter and holographic paper in my stash so I used them to create the shaker pieces. I cut double of the shapes, and glued the paper back to back so if any pieces flip over you don't see the white back.

I used various Distress Oxide Inks to color the background and circle frame. The sentiment is from the new Make A Splash Gnomie Stamp Set.

The Greeting Farm November Stamp Feature Day 3: MINI-REMIX WINTER

Happy Thursday everyone! We are on Day 3 of Stamp Features for the NOVEMBER 2021 RELEASE at The Greeting Farm. This month, TGF introduced 3 new stamp sets! Claudette, Joni and I are on The Greeting Farm Blog showcasing the new release.

Today's set called MINI-REMIX WINTER comes with 2 girls and 2 boys ready to tackle the cooler weather. You can use them alone or together or even for a double date card. I paired this cute couple with the Jaded Blossom Snowglobe Die....and LOVE it! It's my new favorite die. I told you last month that I was going to "snow globe" everything so be prepared, haha! The smaller TGF stamps fit perfectly inside this snow globe die.

COPICS:
Boy Skin: E11, E13, E15, E18
Girl Skin: E0000, E000, E00, E01, E11, E13
Boy Hair: C1, C3, C5, C8, Black
Girl Hair: E33, E25, E29
Brown: E42, E43, E44
Teal: BG11, BG72, BG75
Blue: B93, B95, B97, B99

I stamped the little tree included in the set on green cardstock and fussy cut them out. Then I cut a thin strip of brown cardstock to make longer tree trunks so they would be taller evergreens behind my characters. The sentiment is also part of the Mini-Remix Winter set.

Be sure to head over to The Greeting Farm Store and grab your favorites. You're going to LOVE them all! And please join The Greeting Farm Fan Page to share you creations. We would love to see them!

The Greeting Farm Stamp Feature Day 3: MISS ANYA JINGLE

Happy Wednesday everyone! We are on Day 3 of Stamp Features for the OCTOBER 2021 RELEASE at The Greeting Farm. This month, TGF introduced 3 new stamp sets! Claudette, Joni and I are on The Greeting Farm Blog showcasing the new release.

I'm so excited to share today's project with you! I don't normally do a lot of shaped cards, but when I saw this set called MISS ANYA JINGLE I knew they would be cute in a snowglobe! I found a free Snowglobe printable on Creative Fabrica that I used for my template. I printed it out about 7.16 inches and cut it out to get a base image that was close to 5.25 inches tall. Then I cut apart the different elements and traced the parts onto white cardstock. If you want to save time, you could just print the image and cut it out.

For the glass area, I rubbed Broken China, Faded Jeans, and Chipped Sapphire Distress Oxide Ink over the paper. Next, I used water and a paintbrush to lighten up the areas to create a glass reflection. Then I splattered white acrylic paint over it and let it dry. I cut the white snow area, added some BG000 Copic Marker squiggles and glued it to the bottom of the globe. I then drew the bottom stand and colored with Copics.

Copics:
Skin: E000, E00, E01, E11, E13
Hair: E42, E47, E49
Red: R24, R27, R29, R39, R89
Green: G21, G24, G28, G46
Black: C5, C7, C9, Black
White: C00, N0, N2
Bottom of Snowglobe: E23, E25, E27, E29
Silver Metallic Marker

After reassembling all the snowglobe pieces, I traced the entire globe onto a folded 5.5 x 5.5 card base and cut it out to form a shaped card.

Be sure to head over to The Greeting Farm Store and grab your favorites. You're going to LOVE them all! And please join The Greeting Farm Fan Page to share you creations. We would love to see them!
