C.C. Designs: CUTE BIRDS

The MAY RELEASE at C.C. Designs was one of my faves! I'm in love with those CUTE BIRDS and the Clouds and Grasses Stencil has been one of my go-tos lately. If you haven't snatched up these goodies yet, now is the time! Head over to the C.C. Designs Store to pick up yours today!

 

 

  I decided to make a scene card using Distress Oxide Inks and the Clouds and Grasses Stencil. I just rubbed the different colored inks over the stencil on watercolor paper to make the candy cotton clouds....my fave! Then I sprinkled water on top and dabbed with a paper towel. The sun is from the June and July Stamp Set.

I raised the sun, birds, and butterflies on foam tape for extra dimension.

The Greeting Farm Stamp Feature: POOL PARTY

Happy Wednesday everyone! The Greeting Farm introduced 2 NEW Word Die Sets and 3 NEW Stamp Sets in the Store on May 15th, and the entire release is AWESOME! Today, I'm showcasing a new clear set called POOL PARTY. This set was so popular it already sold out, but never fear, more are on the way.

Hubby and I will be celebrating our 20-year Anniversary this summer! We are going somewhere tropical so I created this card to represent us.

The Greeting Farm Stamp Feature: MINKIE #1

The Greeting Farm Stamp Feature: MISS ANYA CROP

Happy Friday everyone! The Greeting Farm introduced 2 NEW Word Die Sets and 3 NEW Stamp Sets in the Store on May 15th, and the entire release is AWESOME! Today, I'm showcasing a new clear set with 3 big Anyas called MISS ANYA CROP. This set features 3 fabulous girls with beautiful flowing hair and cropped shirts! I stamped all 3 of them on X-Press It Blending Card and colored them with Copic markers.

I used Distress Oxide Ink and a stencil from C.C. Designs to create the cloud background. The green grass was colored in using Copic YG23. The word "fabulous" is a foam sticker.

The Greeting Farm Stamp Feature: HI/HELLO and THANK YOU Word Dies

Happy Thursday everyone! The Greeting Farm introduced 2 NEW Word Die Sets and 3 NEW Stamp Sets in the Store on May 15th, and the entire release is AWESOME! Today I made 3 cards to show off each of the new word dies: Hi/Hello and Thank You. I had so much fun making these! 

 

The first card was made by adding Copic alcohol ink to Yupo paper. After it dried, I die-cut the word Hi 3 times and layered the panel on top of the white card base. I finished the card by added white enamel dots to the corners.

 

 

For the second card, I die-cut the word hello from black cardstock, tapped the top of the word with a Versamark Ink Pad, sprinkled gold embossing powder on top and heat set it. Then I glued it on top of additional hello cut-outs to make it thick like chipboard. 

 

 

The last card got the floral treatment with some paper flowers and butterflies from I Am Roses!

My card today features this awesome digi from Make it Crafty called Ginger. She's a portrait image with beautiful flowing hair and gorgeous big eyes. I learned how to color this image from Zoe's online coloring tutorials.

I found some thick glittery sticker words in my stash that I thought would go perfectly with this image. I chose the word SMILE to use with Ginger. Of course, the beautiful flowers are from I Am Roses.

 My card today features JUNE AND JULY Clear Stamp with it's coordinating outline die. To make the center cloud area on the white doily, I used the new Clouds and Grasses Stencil with some Distress Oxide Ink.
