Little Miss Muffet~INSPIRATION THURSDAY!

Happy Thursday everyone, and Happy Thanksgiving to those of you who live in the U.S.! So glad you've joined me today as I showcase another amazing stamp as part of the Little Miss Muffet Design Team! Happy Tuesday everyone! I can't believe Thanksgiving is already this week....WOWZERS!! I love the holidays, but man I felt like this year just flew by!! We are fortunate because we have family who don't live too far away so we'll definitely be spending Thanksgiving pigging out with our family. Last year my husband got really sick and we weren't able to leave the house. It was a pretty low-key event and he couldn't even eat that much. This year we are definitely making up for it! I'm going to need to eat salads for months after all the splurging that's already started!!

 

For the rest of the year we'll be showcasing Christmas images at By LORi Designs, which is fine with me since it's my favorite holiday! Making Christmas cards puts a smile on my face! Today, I'm showcasing a  new digi called Winter Brian from By LORi Designs. Winter Brian is awesome, adorable, and so much fun to color!! For my card today I used Mini Tilda with Christmas Letters. Magnolia stamps always lend themselves well to a vintage style so I had to go way back and pull out my stash! :) My dps are from Authentique LOVELY 6x6 Paper Pad. The edges were distressed with Walnut Stain Distress Ink. Then I sprinkled Stampendous Frantage Taupe Embossing Enamel around the edges. The ribbon and metal corners are from my stash. The pearl swirls are from Recollections.

TGF Farm Fresh Friday~LET IT SNOW + Special Announcement!!

TGIFriday baby and last day of school for my little guy for Thanksgiving Break! He gets an entire week off, which is nice!! 

Today starts a new Farm Fresh Friday Challenge! The theme for the week is:

LET IT SNOW!!

How fun is that?!! The only problem is that some storms are rolling into Oklahoma and is supposed to bring ICE instead of snow!! We live in Texas, but we were supposed to head to OK for Thanksgiving! I guess we'll see how bad it turns out. I would rather see snow instead of ice...that's for sure!!

Little Miss Muffet Challenge #74~ALL WHITE on the Night!!

Happy Thursday everyone! So glad you've joined me today for my first post as part of the Little Miss Muffet Design Team! I'm so excited to be a part of this amazing team and so appreciative of this awesome opportunity!!

I used the super cute DEXTER GIVES!! You know how I love me some penguins and he was perfect for this White Challenge!! He's stamped on X-Press It Blending Card and colored with Copics.

I decided to make a circle card using a Spellbinders Grand Nestabilities. I used the Die-namics Tree Lines Die to make the bottom border which got a coating of Stickles. I cut out some extra trees and raised them with pop-dots. The background was embossed with the Cuttlebug Snowflakes Embossing Folder. A Martha Stewart punch made the snowflakes in the top corner, which got a nice coating of Stickles and some pearls from Recollections.

Happy Wednesday everyone!! I'm back today to share my latest creation using a digi from The Paper Shelter!! These digi stamps and papers are AMAZING!! The files even come with colored images so you can make your cards quickly and easily....with no coloring!

Happy Tuesday everyone! I'm nursing a sinus infection and I think I'm finally on the back end of it. The sinus pressure and tiredness left me in bed during the day taking naps to try and get better. Happy Monday everyone! I'm back today to share my latest card for the 7 Kids College Fund Store Blog. I'm in the Christmas spirit! It's my favorite holiday and my birthday is also in December so it's just full of joy and presents all around, haha!

To make the poinsettias, I cut them out, inked the edges with Walnut Stain Distress Ink and then curled the edges of each petal around a bamboo skewer. Once I glued the petals together, I added pearls to the center.

Happy Tuesday everyone! Well this week is flying by like the rest of the year! Can you believe Christmas is around the corner? I don't even know where the year went!! Have you even started making your Christmas cards? Sadly I never have time to mass produce any so I usually end up buying cards for everyone. I know, I know...it's a sad, terrible thing! My hubby is like....why are be buying cards? And I'm like....well I had to mail them off as samples so I don't have them anymore, LOL!

I used some dps from my stash so I can't remember who they are from. I think they are older Christmas dps from The Paper Studio (Hobby Lobby). The center green wreath is part of the Cheery Lynn Polynesian Sails Oval Die Set (DL153). The white circle is cut from a Spellbinder Die. The cute sentiment is from Close To My Heart. I cut the corners using a Whimsy Corner Die. The striped flat brads and red bow were from a friend so I'm not sure who makes them.

Yumi and Fumi Challenge #28~SO THANKFUL!

Happy Sunday everyone!! I hope you are having an awesome weekend! The owners of Yumi and Fumi are at the Carson Show in California (it's a huge craft show) this entire weekend. They will be there again today, so if you're in the area you might want to stop by, say HI, and even do a make-n-take!! I'm sure Renate and Leanne will be back later to post pictures from this amazing event!!

I used some gorgeous dps from Simple Stories SUMMER FRESH 6x6 paper pad. The ribbon is from Walmart. The sentiment is from Close To My Heart and the corners were made using a die from Whimsy Stamps. The pearls are from Melissa Frances. I used pop dots behind Fumi and Yumi and the sentiment.
