Jaded Blossom: FLASH BACK FRIDAY!

Happy Friday everyone! For the month of March, Jaded Blossom has been doing weekly challenges in the Jaded Blossom's Garden of Creativity Facebook Group for a chance to win various prizes. It's been so much fun to see all the cards entered in the challenges, along with reading the answers to the weekly questions. To finish up the month, I'm hosting a FLASH BACK FRIDAY Challenge. I have an album set up HERE to load one of your favorite OLDER cards. The challenge will last for a week, until Friday April 4th. I'll draw a random winner and announce the winner on Saturday, April 5th in the Jaded Blossom's Garden of Creativity Facebook Group!

I'll never forget my first ever Jaded Blossom card because it happened when I was given the opportunity to guest design for them back in April of 2020. It's hard to believe I'm coming up on my 5 year Anniversary as part of the Jaded Blossom team! This team and company are AMAZING, and I'm truly blessed to be able to design alongside some the most talented ladies in the industry! My first card was posted on my blog on April 5th, 2020 and featured the Happy Easter Gnome Stamp Set, along with Kawaii Weather Stamp Set and Mushroom Dies. 

Following that month of guest designing, I was invited to join the Jaded Blossom team as a permanent team member starting in May 2020. I still remember how excited I was when I was asked to join this awesome team!

The Greeting Farm March 2025 Stamp Feature Day 3: ANYA'S CANDY SHOP

Happy Friday friends! We are on our last day of Stamp Features for the March 2025 New Release at The Greeting Farm. This month, TGF introduced three new stamp sets which are all available now for purchase. Joni and I are on The Greeting Farm Blog this week showcasing the new release.

Anya is expanding her business from flowers to candy! ANYA'S CANDY SHOP carries everything from lollipops to gumballs to candy sticks to hard candy to sweethearts. This set is perfect to let your friends know they are super sweet.

To create the candy stand, I used a clipart file HERE. I pasted it into MS Word and lengthened the booth so I could cut it apart to fit the tall candy jars. I used a cloud stencil for the sky and cut some patterned paper for the grassy area.

The Greeting Farm March 2025 Stamp Feature Day 2: YOU ARE MY SUNSHINE

Happy Thursday friends! We are on Day 2 of Stamp Features for the March 2025 New Release at The Greeting Farm. This month, TGF introduced three new stamp sets which are all available now for purchase. Joni and I are on The Greeting Farm Blog this week showcasing the new release.

Sunny days are right around the corner, and these adorable animals have gathered together to soak it all in! Our next set called  YOU ARE MY SUNSHINE comes with 6 cute animals, 2 sentiments, and a variety of accessory images. Of course, I had to include them all on this card.

To create the outdoor scene I used the Meadow Backdrop: Landscape Die from Lawn Fawn. I raised the bottom grassy area and some of the animals on foam tape for extra dimension.

The Greeting Farm March 2025 Stamp Feature Day 1: REGENCY COUPLE

Happy Wednesday friends! We are on Day 1 of Stamp Features for the March 2025 New Release at The Greeting Farm. This month, TGF introduced three new stamp sets which are all available now for purchase. Joni and I are on The Greeting Farm Blog this week showcasing the new release.

Are you enthralled by the courtship, romance, and customs captured in books like Pride and Prejudice and Bridgerton? Then REGENCY COUPLE is perfect for you! This set features Anya and Ian dressed up in a Regency style and comes with 2 sentiments, and 5 accessory stamps. I colored up these cuties to represent my son and his beautiful girlfriend.

To create the outdoor scene I used the Woodland Tree Silhouette Die from Memory Box, Inc. and the Meadow Backdrop: Landscape Die from Lawn Fawn for the grassy area. I raised Anya, Ian, the heart, and bird on foam tape for extra dimension.

Jaded Blossom March 2025 Mini Stamp Release Day 2!

I found an amazing video tutorial from Kristina Werner creating 4 gorgeous sunset backgrounds using Distress Oxide Inks which I followed to create these 4 cards. I think they turned out so pretty! I used the new Thinking Of You Stamp Set and Everyday Vertical Greetings Stamp Set with VersaFine Clair Nocturne Ink.

Here are the Distress Oxide Ink colors for each card.

 Card 1: Wild Honey, Ripe Persimmon, Fired Brick, and Dusty Concord.

Jaded Blossom March 2025 Mini Stamp Release!

Happy Monday Friends! It's time for our March 2025 Mini Stamp Release over at Jaded Blossom! All new items will be available Tomorrow, Tuesday 3/18/25 at 12 am EST.

I used all 3 new Stamp Sets on the outside, inside, and back of this card. I wanted to go more elegant, so I used gold embossing powder and the fern leaf stamp from the Thinking Of You Stamp Set with the Diagonal Card Mat Die to create the background pattern.

To create the sentiment strip, I cut a long piece of kraft cardstock and gold embossed the sentiment from Everyday Vertical Greetings Stamp Set with the butterflies from Thinking Of You. After embossing, I inked up the edges with Walnut Stain Distress Ink.

I decorated the inside of the card with the fern image and used a larger sentiment from an older set called Give Thanks Stamp Set. I used the new Handmade Kindness Stamp Set on the post-it note and also the back of the card.

Today, I'm sharing a 6x6 square card using beautiful paper and a sentiment panel from Echo Park's Dream Big Little Girl 6x6 Paper Pad. You can purchase the digital version from Snap Click Supply which means you can print these papers over and over from your home printer.

 

If you've followed me for a while, then you know I usually create with bright, bold colors. However, this time I'm used a more muted tone and I love it. These papers are so pretty!

 

 

To finish off my card, I added gorgeous I Am Roses flowers.

Jaded Blossom: HANG IN THERE!

Happy Friday everyone! For the last few weeks, I've been doing a Penguin for all the Seasons/Holidays series because I love penguins as much as I love gnomes. It's so much fun adding these cute penguins to different scenes. With Spring right around the corner, I decided to take this little penguin outdoors paragliding! I used the little penguin from Gnome Friends: Penguin Die, and added a cute little bow to her from Gnome Dies: Christmas Add Ons 3.

Did you see DT Cynthia's Tic-Tac-Toe Challenge in the Jaded Blossom's Garden of Creativity Facebook Group? The challenge is to choose 3 elements in a row in honor of the classic game and create a project! There is an album for you to play along. You have until March 20, 2025, 11:59 pm PST to add your card for a chance at winning a prize! 

Well, my card is a double tic-tac-toe! Across the top of the board, I used Die-cuts, Flowers (decorative paper), and a Stencil (clouds using Enchanted Night Sky Stencil). It also fills in the diagonal on the board using Die-cuts, Pastels, and Ribbon. I used the umbrella from Gnome Dies: Weather Add Ons with some thin pink ribbon to create the paraglider. The grassy knoll was created using Mushroom Dies. The sentiment is from the Take It Slow Stamp Set.

I'm continuing with my "Penguin for all the holidays" theme, and decided to do another card for St. Patrick's Day before I move on to Easter. To create this adorable guy, I used Gnome Friends: Penguin Die, Gnome Dies: St. Patrick's Day Add Ons (hat), Gnome Dies: Pot Of Gold Add Ons (balloon), and Penguin Faces Stamp Set. The sentiment is from Lucky Charm Stamp Set.

 

  

To add to the whimsy, I added the 4 leaf clover balloon on an action wobble so it shakes, LOL! I just love these adorable penguins!

I Am Roses + Conie Fong's Easter Bunny Eggs

Happy Friday friends! I'm back today for I Am Roses with a cute Easter card featuring Conie Fong's Easter Bunny Eggs. Isn't he the cutest?!! I love that he's popping out out of the egg. I printed this image on Copic Xpress It Blending Card and colored it with Copic Markers. 

The bunny paper is from Doodlebug Design. I used the Square Internal Scallops Dies 1 from Jaded Blossom to create the frame around the image. To finish off the card, I added R43 Pale Pink with Pink Center Peonies, White Cherry Blossoms, S10 Pink Flowers, and Tiny Green Leaves.
