I Am Roses + Conie Fong Lulu with Balloon

 Happy Sunday everyone! Today, I went with a peachy color theme! I don't use oranges and yellows that much when I'm creating, but I love the softness of this card. I used the R43 Peach Rose, White Cherry Blossoms, and S10 Peach and White Small Flowers...aren't they beautiful?!

The cute piggy is from the Lulu and Lonny with Balloon Bundle from Conie Fong. I just love this adorable digi! The paper and sentiment are from DCWV Sweet and Sassy 6x6 Paper Pad. I used Blue China Distress Oxide Ink and a stencil to create the clouds. The square, scallop frame is from My Favorite Things.

Rachelle Anne Miller: PENGUIN HUG

 Happy Saturday friends! My card today features a Rachelle Anne Miller digi called PENGUIN HUG. And if you are like me, then there have probably been several times this year that you really needed one. I can't wait for the day when I can hug all my friends and family!

I kept the scene clean and simple by cutting a circle from a scrap sheet of paper to lay around the image so I could rub Distress Oxide ink over stencils creating the circle landscape. I matted the card panel with black cardstock and adhered it to a white 5.5 x 5.5 card base. The decorative corners were created using a Whimsy Die.

Conie Fong: GNOME SWEETHEARTS WITH DOGS

 Happy Friday friends! So to brighten everyone's day....I give you PUPPIES! I mean seriously, how can you not be happy surrounded by adorable puppies? I love how fluffy they are! These cuties are part of the Gnome Sweethearts with Dogs Digital Set from Conie Fong. I love the Gnome couple, but I just had to start off showcasing these fabulous puppies first!

I printed the puppies on Copic Xpress It Blending Card and colored them up. I felt like they needed a background so I inked up some grass and sky using Distress Oxide Ink. The sentiment is from My Favorite Things Friends Furever.

Dies R Us: It's Cold Outside

Happy Tuesday everyone! How is everyone surviving the polar vortex that hit our country? I live in Oklahoma and it was soooooooo cold here! We are not equipped to handle multiple days of snowy weather and below zero temperatures. I'm so thankful we didn't lose our electricity! When I saw this Memory Box die called Stitched Circle Snowman, I was inspired to create a winter shaker card. 

 

Let's get started!

 Step 1: I cut my white cardstock to 3.75 x 5. Then I laid the die on top of my paper and cut it out. I love this die because it adds a stitched circle border and just cuts out the center area leaving the entire card intact.

 
Step 2: I cut a clear sheet of acetate just a tad bit smaller than my card panel (3.5 x 4.75) and glued it on the backside of the card panel.

 

 
Step 3: Now, you will want to pick out your sentiment and stamp it before adding your foam tape to the back. I forgot to add the sentiment so my pictures are out of order. If you add your foam tape before you stamp your sentiment, then just be sure to reinforce the area you are going to stamp on with extra foam tape so it provides a firm surface to stamp on. I used the sentiment from Lawn Fawn's Winter Alpaca because it is definitely cold outside!

 

Step 4: Next, add your foam tape. You will want to add the foam tape close to the stitched circle border so your shaker elements stay within the circle area. Otherwise, they will fall below the snowdrift and you won't be able to see them.

 

 

Step 5: Next, cut a piece of decorative paper just a little smaller than your card panel so you can enclose your shaker pieces after you add them. 

 

 

Step 6: I framed the card with more decorative paper cut to 4 x 5.25. Then I adhered the entire thing to my card base which measure 4.25 x 5.5.

I recently found my DYMO Embossing Label Maker and will be using it a lot more often. I love using it for part of the sentiment ,and then focusing on one word in the sentiment and using die-cut letters to emphasize that word. I used the Diamond Press Alphabet Dies-Block Set to create the word HEART.

The Greeting Farm Digital Stamp Feature: Store Fronts, Cheeky Shop, and Valentine Sayings

 Happy Friday everyone! Today, I am featuring two cards using the new Digital Stamp Sets that were released at The Greeting Farm on February 1st. The Digital Stamp Team has already showcased these amazing sets earlier in the month, but there is even more inspiration for you today on The Greeting Farm Blog.

I know some of you have dived into digital stamps, but some of you are intimidated. The one thing I love about the digis at The Greeting Farm (especially the scene ones) is that when you purchase the file, Marie includes a summary sheet of all the elements proportionately sized. If you don't know how to overlay images in MS Word or another editing program, then all you have to do is print the summary sheet and do some fussy cutting! For this card, I combined Store Fronts and Cheeky Shop.

Jaded Blossom February 2021 Release: Sneak Peek Day 4

 Happy Thursday everyone! Today is Day 4 of Sneak Peeks for the Jaded Blossom February Release!  If you LOVE everything you have seen so far this week, then you definitely want to purchase the Gotta Have it Now Package, which will return to the Jaded Blossom Store on Friday. 

For my project today, I created a card using a couple of stamps from the set, along with the Month Word Dies. I first stamped the F-word and notepad image using Versamark and heat embossed them in Gold Embossing Powder. Then I die-cut March and November from the Month Word Dies, cut the letters apart, and pieced them together to form the word cancer.

I've had a few family members pass away from cancer, and within the past few years I've had friends who were diagnosed with cancer. And if this doesn't truly capture how we feel about it, then I don't know what does. It really breaks my heart to see friends and family suffer through this horrible disease. I love you all and pray for healing!

The Greeting Farm Stamp Feature: MINKIE FRIENDS

 Happy Thursday everyone! We are on Day 3 of Stamp Features for the FEBRUARY 2021 RELEASE at The Greeting Farm. This month TGF introduced 3 new stamp sets! Claudette, Joni and I will be on The Greeting Farm Blog showcasing the new release over the next few days.

Jaded Blossom February 2021 Release: Sneak Peek Day 3

 Happy Wednesday everyone! Today is Day 3 of Sneak Peeks for the Jaded Blossom February 2021 Release, which is all about our love for ART and CRAFTING! This release is a lot of fun, and if you are a collector like me then you need all of it!

For my project today, I used Distress Oxide Ink with the Torn Tape Stencil on a 6x6 canvas for a home decor piece. 

 

 

The tag was created using the Handmade with Care Stamps. I stamped the rolls of washi tape with Versamark, and added gold embossing powder. Next, I colored in the tape rolls with Copic Markers. I fussy cut it out and added it to the Treat Tag Die with foam tape. I didn't have a clear bag that was big enough to hold the canvas as a gift so for the photo I just laid the tag on top of the canvas.

 

 

I colored one of the torn tape strips aqua blue and then used a gold paint pen to add dots. The sentiment BE UNIQUE was created with a DYMO Embossing Label Maker.
