Rachelle Anne Miller: NEW RELEASE on MAY 13TH

 Happy Tuesday friends! A new digital release is coming to the Rachelle Anne Miller Store on MAY 13th. The team has been doing previews this week prior to the release. Today, I'm showcasing this amazing digital image called SPACESHIP featuring a sweet boy and his monkey on an adventure in space. 

This one took a lot of Copics to color. I was really scared when I started coloring the galaxy background. I will tell you, in the beginning it looked horrible, LOL! But I was in too deep at that point and I didn't want to start over from scratch so I kept adding the purple and blue and continued blending. It finally came together when I added the white paint splatter (with acrylic paint) and drew the stars back in with a white signo pen.

The planet paper came from a digital file on Etsy available HERE. I found the perfect sentiment in a stamp set from My Favorite Things called Space Explorer.

 Happy Sunday friends! My card today features two Rachelle Anne Miller digi sets. I combined PRINCESS CASTLE and PRINCESS CASTLE ELEMENTS to create this slimline card scene! That is the great thing about digital stamps....you can combine different sets to create the scene you want.

Rachelle Anne Miller: PENGUIN HUG

 Happy Saturday friends! My card today features a Rachelle Anne Miller digi called PENGUIN HUG. And if you are like me, then there have probably been several times this year that you really needed one. I can't wait for the day when I can hug all my friends and family!

I kept the scene clean and simple by cutting a circle from a scrap sheet of paper to lay around the image so I could rub Distress Oxide ink over stencils creating the circle landscape. I matted the card panel with black cardstock and adhered it to a white 5.5 x 5.5 card base. The decorative corners were created using a Whimsy Die.

I recently found my DYMO Embossing Label Maker and will be using it a lot more often. I love using it for part of the sentiment ,and then focusing on one word in the sentiment and using die-cut letters to emphasize that word. I used the Diamond Press Alphabet Dies-Block Set to create the word HEART.

Rachelle Anne Miller Stamps available at My Favorite Things!

 Happy Tuesday everyone! If you haven't yet heard the good news, Rachelle Anne Miller is now releasing CLEAR STAMPS at My Favorite Things. Today, MFT released several new stamps including this adorable bunny set called RAM Sweet Celebration. This clear stamp also has a coordinating die you can purchase separately. If you hate fussy cutting, then I really suggest you get the die. You can also purchase this image as a digi in Rachelle's store HERE. 

I decided to cut the image apart and use the different elements separately to create this slimline scene card. The cloud layers were created using the Stitched Cloud Edges Dies. I inked the edges with Broken China Distress Oxide Ink. Then I raised each cloud layer with foam tape for extra dimension.

I used Copic Markers to color the balloons and animals. Then I added stars and dots to the balloons using a Uni-ball Signo White Pen.

Rachelle Anne Miller: SWEETHEARTS

 Happy Sunday friends! Valentine's Day is right around the corner so I decided to create a card that captures the love hubby and I have for each other. He is my college sweetheart and we have been together a total of 27 years and married almost 22 years. I've been with this man more than half my life....which sounds so weird to say. This image from Rachelle Anne Miller called SWEETHEARTS was the perfect image to use for his card. 

 I used Copic Markers to color this scene. The little speech bubbles came from an older Recollections Valentine's Day 6x6 Paper Pad. The paper was from my stash.

If you are part of the Stamp Junkies Facebook group, you've probably seen posts about "that" paper. It's become a popular thread in that group. I recently went to Hobby Lobby and found "that" paper and decided it was perfect for this image! It's called Eucalyptus from The Paper Studio. The ribbon was part of a pajama set. It was tied around the set as part of the packaging. I saved it years ago and it finally came in handy.

The elephant paper is a digital file from Poppymoon Design on Etsy called ELEPHANTS. I resized the paper to 2-inch squares and overlapped the squares to create a seamless pattern so I could have patterned paper with smaller elephants.

 

 
To finish off the card, I added a bow and some gorgeous flowers from I Am Roses. I love how pretty the card is with their paper flowers.

Rachelle Anne Miller: BIGGEST FRIEND

 Happy Saturday everyone! I'm back today sharing my latest card for Rachelle Anne Miller. When my son was little he LOVED dinosaurs. He would watch Jurassic Park over and over again, and of course, we had to buy everything dinosaur. His bedroom was even decorated with a dinosaur theme. So when I saw this new digi called BIGGEST FRIEND, I had to color it up right away.

 Happy Saturday everyone! I'm back today sharing my latest card for Rachelle Anne Miller. We just had our first ice storm this week which wreaked havoc on all our trees. The entire city looks like a tornado came through and ripped the trees apart. I would much rather have snow than ice! So with the reminder that winter is about to pull up, I created this wintry card using a digital stamp called TWEET FRIENDSHIP.

I've totally been into slimline cards lately, and the SLIMLINE DIES from Jaded Blossom create the cutest scallop border around your card. I love the stitching around each scallop! I also found the most awesome cloud stencil from A Colorful Life Designs called CLOUD EDGER. It has so many different edges to create more realistic clouds....although on this card I went with pastels.

 

Do you see that awesome stitched trail design coming from the left side of the card? I combined two of the dies from the Jaded Blossom BUG TRAILS DIES to create the pattern. Cute, right?!

 

 

To make this card even more fun, I put the paper plane on an action wobble! When you flick the image, it wobbles like they are flying. The sentiment is from an older The Greeting Farm set called Plane Amazing.
