I Am Roses + Diamond Press Friendship Slimline Card Kit

 Happy Monday friends! Today's card is for I Am Roses, and features this fabulous card kit from Diamond Press called Friendship Slimline Card Kit. I love that this kit comes with card bases, sentiments, and embellishments....everything you need to put a well-coordinated card together quickly. And it works perfectly with the beautiful flowers from I Am Roses!

I combined some light blue daisies and tulip bulbs with some peach colored flowers, cherry blossoms, and small flowers. I don't usually pair these colors together, but I love how it came together with this butterfly card base. I raised the sentiment on foam tape for extra dimension.

Jaded Blossom: LOVE BUGS

 Happy Friday friends! I'm back today for Jaded Blossom sharing this adorable Ladybug Candy Caddy! I LOVE the versatility of this candy caddy die! You can also use the insert just by itself inside a clear pretzel bag to hold Hershey nuggets. It's truly a must-have if you like to make party favors!  

I found these adorable ladybug chocolates at Target and knew I wanted to create a cute holder for them. I cut the candy caddy from red cardstock and then rubbed Versamark Black Ink over the Polka Dot Stencil to create the black dots. The ladybug on the black clothespin is from Love Bugs Stamp Set. I stamped the ladybug on red cardstock and colored it with Copic Markers and a white gel pen.

To make the sentiment I combined two stamps sets: Love Bugs and Friendly Candies (Grid Style). I cut the sentiment panel using Mini Tag Dies 3 and raised it on foam tape for some dimension.

Jaded Blossom May 2022 Patriotic Release BLOG HOP!

Happy Friday everyone! Welcome to Jaded Blossom's May 2022 Patriotic Release Blog Hop.  

Now if you're here from Nicole's Blog, you're in the right place. If you're just passing through start at the beginning because you don't want to miss a thing. I also have the complete line up at the bottom.  For today's project, I used several of the new sets to create this 4th of July party favor.  

 I found these fabulous gnome pails at the Dollar Tree. I poured some rice into the bottom to add some weight and then placed a circular piece of floral foam inside to stick the skewers in. 

  To create that adorable, cute gnome, I used the Gnome Dies with the Gnome Dies: Patriotic Add Ons. I made paper rosettes by cutting my paper into 1.50 x 12 inch strips and scoring every 1/2 inch. Then I glued the Stars and Stripes Candies *Grid Style* circles in the middle to hold them together. I created a flag using the American Flag Stamp Set and glued it to a bamboo skewer. Then I taped it to the back of the Pop Rocks.

Jaded Blossom May 2022 Release: SNEAK PEEK DAY 4!

 Happy Thursday everyone! Today is Day 4 of Sneak Peeks for the Jaded Blossom May 2022 Patriotic Release! If you LOVE everything you have seen so far then you definitely want to purchase the "Gotta Have it Now" Package which will return to the Jaded Blossom Store on Friday. It's the best deal! 

Today, we are revealing a new stamp set called STARS and STRIPES CANDIES *GRID STYLE* Stamp Set. This set allows you to create a circle tab for the top of your custom wrapped Hershey Nugget chocolates. However, it also has some larger stamps to create amazing cards. I used the silhouette of the military man and one of the small candy sentiments to create this Slimline card.

 To create the scallop border, the stitched rectangle panel, and the stitched black hill, I used the Jaded Blossom Slimline Dies. I inked the stitched rectangle panel with Distress Oxide Inks to create a sunset. The small flag is from the Kawaii Patriotic Stamp Set. I stamped 4 of the silhouette men and fussy cut them. Three are glued flat to the card panel. The very first man is raised on foam tape.

 Happy Wednesday Friends! Today we are on Day 3 of Sneak Peeks for the Jaded Blossom May 2022 Release. This release has a patriotic theme and once again I'm so excited about all the stamps and dies! Be sure to check out the "Gotta Have It Now" package for the BEST deal.

On the Jaded Blossom Blog, we are showcasing the American Flag Stamp Set. I created a tag for this candy idea that looks like a flag. Unfortunately, I didn't have any white chocolate to coat one of the strips of red Twizzlers for the red and white stripes. But this gives you the general idea of what you can do. I stamped the flag image on Copic Xpress It Blending Card and colored it in with Copic Markers. Then ! fussy cut the image out. Next, I traced a border around my cut out image onto black cardstock. In the upper left corner I traced a circle so I could have a little tab to thread the twine through.

The sentiment is part of the American Flag Stamp Set. I used one of the dies from Mini Tag Dies 3 to cut the frame around the sentiment. I added it on top of the flag with foam tape for added dimension.

The Greeting Farm May Stamp Feature Day 3: MINI-REMIX SUNSHINE

 Happy Wednesday everyone! We are on Day 3 of Stamp Features for the MAY 2022 RELEASE at The Greeting Farm. This month, TGF introduced 3 new stamp sets which are all available now for purchase. Today's set is called MINI-REMIX SUNSHINE. It has 4 characters, a couple accessory stamps and 1 sentiment. This set is perfect for all your summer and beach cards. I had so much fun creating this summer scene! 

 

I used another pre-printed card base. The bottom portion was white, but I colored it in to look like sand. Then I fussy cut my characters and the dog and added them to the card on foam tape. The sentiment is from a Diamond Press stamp set called Beach Hut.

Jaded Blossom May 2022 Release: SNEAK PEEK DAY 2

Happy Tuesday Friends! Today we are on Day 2 of Sneak Peeks for the Jaded Blossom May 2022 Release. This release has a patriotic theme and once again I'm so excited about all of these stamps and dies! Be sure to check out the "Gotta Have It Now" package for the BEST deal.

On the Jaded Blossom Blog, we are showcasing the Kawaii Patriotic Stamp Set + Outline Dies. I wanted to create some items that would be great for a 4th of July party so today I'm showing off this patriotic solo cup idea for easy entertaining. The cup includes a napkin, straw, spoon, fork, two water flavoring packets, and a twizzler. This idea is so versatile and you could include all sorts of things. These would make great party favors by filling with candy, light-up bracelets, jewelry, and even fireworks including sparklers and poppers.

I created a wrap from red gingham paper to go around the cup. Then I used the Label Shape Dies 1 for the panel on the front of the cup. The sentiment on the little straw flag along with the sentiment at the bottom of the stamped images are from the new God Bless America Stamp Set (showcased yesterday).  

 I stamped the Kawaii Patriotic images onto Copic Xpress It Blending Card and used the Kawaii Patriotic Outline Dies to cut them out.

The Greeting Farm May Stamp Feature Day 2: HAPPY BIRTHDAY

 Happy Tuesday everyone! We are on Day 2 of Stamp Features for the MAY 2022 RELEASE at The Greeting Farm. This month, TGF introduced 3 new stamp sets which are all available now for purchase. Sometimes you just need an awesome birthday sentiment set to take center stage on your card....or you need to create a male card without a cute character....or you need to produce several birthday cards quickly. If you can relate, then this next set called HAPPY BIRTHDAY needs to be a part of your stamp collection. The words Happy Birthday are large enough to be the focal point and the additional sentiments allow you to customize the card to your recipient.

For both cards, I used pre-printed card bases. The first card has rose gold foil on the roses and on the white frame border. I heat embossed the words Happy Birthday with rose gold embossing powder. I cut the card front apart so I could mat the card panel onto rose gold foil paper. Then I added it to a white card base.

Since the 2nd card was going to be for a man, I stamped the sentiment in black ink on a blue watercolor background. This stamp set also includes the dotted swirls and the dotted star so I added those around the stamped words.

On the Jaded Blossom Blog, we are showcasing Gnome Dies: Patriotic Add Ons, and God Bless America Stamps + Outline Dies. Once again, I moved the hat up and created a face for this little guy. I also used the large star from this set and added it over the decorative paper border on foam tape.
 

I used decorative paper from Doodlebug Design Patriotic Parade 6x6 Paper Pad. I cut the scallop border using Border Dies 2. The sentiment is from God Bless America Stamps and the little stars are from the God Bless America Outline Dies.
