Some Odd Girl: PLANNER WEATHER

TGIF everyone! I'm back today with my last card as a Guest Designer for Some Odd Girl. I thoroughly enjoy my time working with these awesome digis! Thank you Kristi for having me this month! I had a great time!

Today' card features this adorable rainbow and clouds image from Some Odd Girl's PLANNER WEATHER. Isn't it so cute?!! I printed it on Xpress It Blending Card and colored it with Copic Markers.

Copics:

I love the quote from Maya Angelou that says "Be the rainbow in someone else's cloud." It lifts my spirits, and inspires me to do better. I typed the quote in word, change the font and added some color. I printed it at the bottom of my cardstock and then used a cloud die to cut the top border. Next I traced the border onto rainbow paper so I could add some rainbow color to the top of the cloud outline.

Now for even more fun, I added the rainbow cloud image to an action wobble! When you tap on the image, it wobbles around. You can see it action on the Some Odd Girl Facebook Group!

Some Odd Girl: PLANNER FOOD

Happy Wednesday everyone! I'm back today with a sushi card featuring Some Odd Girl's PLANNER FOOD. The great thing about SOG is that you can purchase these digital stamps, download them to your computer and print them right away. You don't have to wait for anything to be shipped to you! I used this Planner Food Set earlier in the month for my planner and a few taco cards. Now, I'm showcasing the sushi! I printed the trio of sushi on Xpress It Blending Card and added the sentiment underneath using Word. The sushi are colored with Copic Markers.

With all the things happening in the world right now, this sentiment just kind of stuck with me. Hubby, kiddo and I are pretty much hermits, except when we are traveling so we've been okay right now with the social distancing. But my extrovert friends are struggling so I hope this lifts their spirits a little.

Some Odd Girl: PLANNER WEATHER

Happy Wednesday everyone! I'm back today with my 2nd planner layout using a new set from Some Odd Girl called PLANNER WEATHER! Once again, I created my own stickers and "washi tape" using the digis and sticker paper. I used Photoshop to color the images beforehand. Then I copied the images into MS Word, resized them to create individual stickers and then smaller ones in a row for the imitation washi tape.

Some Odd Girl: PLANNER FOODS

Happy Monday everyone! So today, I did a thing....I created my first ever planner pages! I've always had a calendar to keep track of my DT projects, Dr. Appts, Birthdays, etc., but I've never actually decorated the pages. My friend recently asked me if I would like to do a guest spot for Some Odd Girl Stamps using some new planner digital stamps. Around the same time, my local Hobby Lobby was having a clearance sale on a bunch of planner things so I figured that was my sign to get on board, LOL! 

 

So check out my layout using Some Odd Girl's PLANNER FOODS! I created my own stickers and "washi tape" using the food digis and sticker paper. I used Photoshop to color the images beforehand. Then I copied the images into MS Word, resized them to create individual stickers and then smaller ones in a row for the imitation washi tape.

I had some left over taco stickers and thought they would make awesome patterned paper for some taco cards. I cut them up and placed them randomly on black cardstock, and then created these two cards. I printed a larger taco for one of the cards....and there was no hand coloring. All the coloring was done in Photoshop.
