A new illustrator at C.C. Designs + a BLOG HOP!!

Oh yeah! We have some extra cuteness joining the C.C. Designs family of Illustrators. Christine was tickled pink when Dustin contacted her to design stamps for them. We have always loved his incredibly adorable images, and now they are in the C.C. Designs Store, muwahahaha!

The new DT is joining in a Doodle Dragon Blog Hop. Wait until you see what we all have done with the images, your mind will be blown.

Happy Monday everyone! I'm back today to share my latest card using this adorable cutie called Swiss Pixie Birgitta's Snow Heart from C.C. Designs...isn't she a cutie?!!

She's stamped on X-Press It Blending Card with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink, and colored with Copics. Her snow heart reminded me of the huge gingerbread cookies we used to buy in Germany at the Christmas Markets. I miss Germany a lot especially around Christmas time! It's amazing there during the holidays!

For my card I used these awesome dies from By DIEzyne called Half Circle Dies and Stitched Circles Dies. They make easel cards so easy and simple and take all the guess work out of it! I LOVE them!!

To made the wreath I used the C.C. Designs Cutters Wreath Die. My dps are from Authentique Believe 6x6 paper pad. I distressed the edges of my paper with Walnut Stain Distress Ink.

Little Miss Muffet Stamps~Fancy Sunbonnet Thanksgiving!

 

TGIF everyone! I hope you had a great week so far! I can't believe Thanksgiving is next week!! How in the world did that happen?! I thought I still had a couple more weeks...geez louise!! I've got so much to do in such little bit of time.

Yesterday started a new challenge on the Little Miss Muffet Challenge Blog. The theme for the next two weeks is CLEAN and SIMPLE (CAS). I struggle with CAS cards, but I kind of like how this one turned out. :)

Since Thanksgiving is almost here I decided to use FANCY SUNBONNET THANKSGIVING. I stamped her directly to the kraft cardstock and used colored pencils for my coloring. I definitely need a lot more practice. It looks like I took some crayons and just colored her in. I applaud those of you who use pencils and get all the shading in....man my attempt needs a lot of work!! I also realize I might need some more pencils so I can practice more. :)

The "thanks" word die is from Paper Smooches. I hand wrote the word "give". The ribbon was from my stash. I always get asked how do I make my bows. I use a thin, plastic tool called a BOW EASY. It's super easy to use and makes my bows perfect. :)

My card today showcases this gorgeous stamp called Saturated Canary AUTUMN. She was so much fun to color!! I absolutely LOVE Saturated Canary stamps and have most of them. The rubber stamps are in the 7 Kids College Fund Store at an amazing price too! She's stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink onto X-Press It Blending Card, and colored with Copics.

Around my stamped image I added Stampendous Frantage Aged Taupe Embossing Enamel. My dps are from Echo Park Everyday Eclectic 6x6 Paper Pad. I distressed the paper all over with Walnut Stain Distress Ink so take out the white areas. I used a few doilies behind the image...two were rubbed with Walnut Stain Distress Ink and one I kept white. The flowers, ribbon and pearls were in my stash.

Little Miss Muffet Stamps~Dexter Gives

 

TGIF everyone! I hope you had a great week so far! It's been a rough week which I'm attributing to the cold weather that decided to mosey on in and chill everyone to the bone. Isaiah was having melt-downs and the hubby came down with an upper respiratory infection! GEEZ LOUISE!! I'm so glad it's Friday and the weekend is here so we can just relax and get healthy. This momma needs to make up some sleep and hopefully get rid of the under eye circles!

 

I finally had some time today to make a card with this adorable and sweet penguin called DEXTER GIVES. He's definitely a cutie!! I printed him on X-Press It Blending Card and colored him with Copics.

TGIF everyone! I hope you had a great week so far! We had no TV week as part of a challenge from Isaiah's school. It went a lot better than I thought and I learned a bunch of card games. It's definitely something we need to do more of as a family. I even liked the quietness of not having the TV on!

 

I finally had some time today to make a card with this newly released image called Polka Dot Pals Tenn. He's definitely a cutie!! I printed him on X-Press It Blending Card and colored him with Copics.

Happy Monday everyone. Today we start previews for all the new releases coming to the C.C. Designs Store on November 6th! Let me tell ya....you are in for some CUTENESS overload!! Little Miss Muffet Stamps~Bunny with Stocking

 

Happy Saturday everyone! I hope you had a great week so far! This was a hectic one for me so I'm so looking forward to relaxing this weekend. I made 22 gift baggies for Isaiah's Fall Party on Friday and that nearly wiped me out. He wanted a Minecraft theme and you just can't buy any of that stuff at the party stores. So I had to print and cut and make the stuff by hand. It was a lot of work I tell ya!

As I recover today from trick-or-treating and the sugar overload, I finally had some time today to make a card with this newly released image called Bunny with Stocking. I'm telling you....total cuteness overload!! I love him bunches and just want to squish him with hugs, haha! He's so stinkin' adorable!!
