I Am Roses + Krista Smith Arctic Friends

Happy Monday everyone! I'm on a Christmas card-making marathon! This next card features an older Krista Smith image called ARCTIC FRIENDS, along with the gorgeous flowers from I Am Roses. Their flowers are seriously the best and really add that extra OOMPH to any project! 

The decorative paper and sentiment are from my stash. To finish off the card I added beautiful flowers from I Am Roses and enamel dots.

Conie Fong: WREATH GNOME

Happy Monday everyone! I'm back today with a Christmas card featuring this adorable gnome from Conie Fong called WREATH GNOME. If you've followed me for a while then you know that I am a gnome fanatic! And the ones that Conie illustrates are some of my favorites!! I mean, come on....look how CUTE he is!!

I kept the background clean and simple so the word JOY would be the focus. I used the 2" Alphabet from Momenta to create the J and the Y. The white cardstock was embossed using a 6x6 Embossalicious folder. 

For extra dimension, I used foam tape behind the letters and the Wreath Gnome.

Polka Dot Orchard: CALLING ALL REINDEER

Happy Sunday everyone! Today, I'm sharing an altered wood frame using Polka Dot Orchard CALLING ALL REINDEER Digital Stamp Set. This frame came together quickly and guess what.....there was no coloring involved! The inside of this frame is 4 5/8 x 4 5/8 so those are the dimensions of the red buffalo plaid paper. I then copied and pasted the deer image into Word and resized it to 4.30" high to 4.48" wide. 

Here is what the original frame looked like. I think I bought this in the dollar section at Target. I loved that it had the beads at the top already, but I knew I wanted to alter it.

When I saw the reindeer silhouette, I knew it would be perfect for the inside. I fussy cut it out and then raised it on foam tape for some extra dimension.

Rachelle Anne Miller: ELEPHANT ADVENTURE

 Happy Saturday everyone! I'm back today sharing my latest card for Rachelle Anne Miller using this fabulous digital stamp called ELEPHANT ADVENTURE. I love baby elephants, and this girl is so cute on her safari adventure with her friend.

The elephant paper is a digital file from Poppymoon Design on Etsy called ELEPHANTS. I resized the paper to 2-inch squares and overlapped the squares to create a seamless pattern so I could have patterned paper with smaller elephants.

 

 
To finish off the card, I added a bow and some gorgeous flowers from I Am Roses. I love how pretty the card is with their paper flowers.

Isn't it all FABULOUS?!! I LOVE this entire Gingerbread Release, and I know you will too! Today, I decided to create a Gingerbread House Easel Card so I could use as many of the new products on one project. 

 

 
To form the base of the house and the roof I used the Rectangle Dies 1. The chimney was created using the Scallop Rectangles Dies 2. For the door I used one of the dies in the Slimline Dies Set. The peppermint roof line was created using the larger scallop die in the Border Dies 2 Set. The tiny, medium and large peppermints came from the Gingerbread Baking Co. Stamp Set. The gingerbread family, gumdrops, and lollipops came from Kawaii Gingerbread.

For the bottom part of the card, I used the Gingerbread Stencil, Build A Gingerbread Man, and a sentiment from Be Merry.

Isn't it all FABULOUS?!! I LOVE this entire Gingerbread Release, and I know you will too! For my project today, I used the Large Gingerbread Man on the ends of the Crate Die to create a box to hold some Gingerbread cookies. The tag was created using the Treat Tag Die and Gingerbread Baking Co. Stamp Set.

I stamped the Large Gingerbread Man twice on Xpress It Blending Card and colored him with Copics. Next I fussy cut him out, traced him onto kraft cardstock, and glued the kraft cardstock to the back of the colored image. After putting the Crate Die together, I cut pieces of patterned paper to glue to the outside of the crate. Then I adhered the large Gingerbread men to the ends of the box and added sentiment labels to the sides of the box.

Here's a picture of the tag that is tied with twine to the top of the plastic bag holding the gingerbread cookies.

Rachelle Anne Miller: BIGGEST FRIEND

 Happy Saturday everyone! I'm back today sharing my latest card for Rachelle Anne Miller. When my son was little he LOVED dinosaurs. He would watch Jurassic Park over and over again, and of course, we had to buy everything dinosaur. His bedroom was even decorated with a dinosaur theme. So when I saw this new digi called BIGGEST FRIEND, I had to color it up right away.

Today, I have an interactive card for you! When I saw the cute dog with the balloons I knew he would be perfect for a Swinging Tent Card. I found an amazing tutorial by Kim Peck on Splitcoast Stampers. And it wasn't difficult to put together. Definitely watch the video because it will make more sense. I LOVE that he swings back and forth!

The papers are from my stash. I was fortunate to find two sheets of the cloud paper so I could cut them the same. That way when I put the card together the clouds lined up. I raised the top grass panel on foam tape for extra dimension.
