Jaded Blossom: MONSTER MARSH Bag Topper

 Happy Friday everyone! Halloween is quickly approaching so I'm creating various treat holders for those upcoming spooky get-togethers. I LOVE the versatility of Jaded Blossom Stamps and Dies and how you can mix and match them to create some monsterific projects. 

 Today, I combined the Build A Booth: Monster Add Ons with the XL Topper Die to create a bag topper for Monster Marsh chocolate stuffed marshmallows! To be able to create a face, I needed more space at the top to fit the hair and eyes so I cut the topper die in half, turned it upside down and glued the new top edge together. That gave me more room to add the eyes, and also moved the rounded corners to the bottom to create more of a face shape.

 

I cut two hair pieces from black cardstock to go along the top of the bag topper. The handle area of the topper die became the mouth for my monster. I used the negative space from the jack-o-lantern mouth die in the Build A Booth: Monster Add Ons to create the teeth. The sentiment is from the Bone Chilling Treats Stamp Set.

Jaded Blossom: MINI MONSTER RELEASE!

 Happy Friday! It's time for the Jaded Blossom Mini Monster Release! To celebrate, we are having a little hop to showcase the fabulous projects created by the Design Team. I have the complete line up at the bottom of this post.

I created two projects for this release. My first one is a Monster Build A Booth candy holder with Monster Hershey Kisses. I used the new Build A Booth: Monster Add Ons with the Build A Booth Die and the new Build A Booth: Treat Box Add Ons.

 

 
I think this monster is hilarious! I added die-cut eyes and filled in the spaces with smaller googly eyes. The sentiment is from the Monster Munchies Stamp Set. 

 

 For my 2nd project, I used a wood crate from the Dollar Treat and created a fun little treat box to hold these light-up Monster toys and more Monster Hershey Kisses. I painted the crate using black acrylic paint, and added a large sentiment from Large Halloween Treats Stamps + Outline Dies.

 

 To create the monsters, I used Gnome Dies, Gnome Dies: Monster Add Ons 1, and Gnome Dies: Monster Add Ons 2. I taped them to paper straws. They are also taped inside the crate, but can be removed to be used as cupcake toppers.

I challenged myself to make them look like the toys and I think they turned out pretty darn cute! The sentiments on the Gnome Dies: Sign Add Ons are from the RAWR Stamp Set.

The Greeting Farm September 2023 Stamp Feature Day 3: ALPACA CHRISTMAS

 Happy Thursday! We are on our last day of Stamp Features for the September 2023 New Release at The Greeting Farm. This month, TGF introduced 3 new stamp sets which are all available now for purchase. Claudette, Joni and I are on The Greeting Farm Blog showcasing the new release.

Christmas at your house, you say? Alpaca the presents and coffee! This next set called ALPACA CHRISTMAS features 4 adorable alpacas along with a Christmas tree, presents, extra accessory stamps, and a cute sentiment. I used 3 alpacas and colored them to represent my family. :)

 

Other than the coloring this card came together pretty quickly. I didn't use any dies. I just cut my paper down to size with a paper trimmer, and tore the white paper for the snow. The presents, brown alpaca, and white alpaca are raised on foam tape for some dimension.

The Greeting Farm September 2023 Stamp Feature Day 2: ANYA IN AUSTRALIA

 G'Day Mates! We are on Day 2 of Stamp Features for the September 2023 New Release at The Greeting Farm. This month, TGF introduced 3 new stamp sets which are all available now for purchase. Claudette, Joni and I are on The Greeting Farm Blog showcasing the new release.

Anya is back to her world travels and this month she's spending time in the land down under! ANYA IN AUSTRALIA features our fabulous girl in her khakis practicing her boomerang throw. Her koala friend is watching from a safe distance, but her kangaroo friend might want to hop a little further away, LOL! 

 

I colored the images with Copic Markers and then fussy cut them out. The background scene was also created with markers, along with a cloud stencil and some Distress Oxide Ink.

For my card today, I created a scene using the stamps from Warm The Heart with one of my favorite dies from Lawn Fawn called Stitched Hillside Backdrop: Landscape. I use this die all the time for scene cards. It's one of my favorites! The trees are from the the Stitched Hillside Backdrop: Portrait.  

I cut the Stitched Hillside 3 times from white cardstock. On the first cut-out, I taped a piece of white cardstock behind the frame hole and used Broken China Distress Oxide Ink with a cloud stencil to create the sky. I stamped the snowflakes using a light blue ink over the cloud background  Next, I cut apart the snow layers from the other cut-outs to layer with foam tape.

 Today, I created a Halloween card using this new digital stamp from Conie Fong called Broomstick Emily Witch. Isn't she adorable?!! I printed her on Copic Xpress It Blending Card and colored her with Copic Markers.

To step it up a notch, I added gorgeous IAR flowers to both corners. The large flower is the R-43 Peony in black. I then added S3 green cherry blossoms, S10 purple flowers, ZR8-274 black roses, and tiny green leaves.

Jaded Blossom: Halloween EYES FOR YOU Candy Favor

 Happy Friday everyone! Halloween is quickly approaching so I'm creating various treat holders for those upcoming spooky get-togethers. I LOVE the versatility of Jaded Blossom Stamps and Dies and how you can mix and match them to create fa-BOO-lous projects. Today, I used the Build A Booth Die with the Crate Die to create this EYE CANDY Treat Holder.

I used the Gnome Dies with the Gnome Dies: Halloween Add Ons to create the gnome with the spider hat. The cat is also from the Halloween Add Ons set. The eyeball he's eating and the white spider web in the corner of the booth window are from the Gnome Dies: Graveyard Add Ons. The booth sign was created using stamps from Monster Munchies. I glued candy eyes to the sign to finish it off.

 

**TIP: I use painter's tape to mask off parts of the sentiment that I don't want to stamp.

Jaded Blossom September 2023 New Release BLOG HOP!

 Happy Thursday! Welcome to Jaded Blossom's September 2023 New Release Blog Hop! If you came here from Lee-Ann's blog, you're in the right spot! If you're just passing through start at the beginning because you don't want to miss a thing. I also have the complete line up at the bottom.

 For my project, I created a zombie treat box using the Scallop Caddy Die with several of the new products. And, you know I have to find a way to have coordinating candy right? I melted white almond bark with some coconut oil and then added food coloring. I poured the chocolate into a silicone brain mold to make brain chocolates! I only had 1 mold so it did take some time, but after filling the mold I placed it in the freezer so it set pretty quickly.  

 
I colored my gnome green along with his brain because he's been zombie-fied, LOL! The bats are from the Enchanted Night Sky Stencil (freebie with purchase). I used the skull from the Build A Booth: Halloween Add Ons. The tombstone, brain, and hat with brain are from the Gnome Dies: Graveyard Add Ons. And the sentiment, Gnomie Want Brains, which inspired this entire project is from the Spooky Season Stamp Set.

I filled the candy bag with green and pink brains, along with zombie teeth candy corn.

Jaded Blossom September 2023 Release: SNEAK PEEK DAY 3

 Happy Wednesday Friends! Today, we are on Day 3 of Sneak Peeks for the Jaded Blossom September 2023 Release. You can grab the "Gotta Have It Now Package" for a discounted amount. If you wait until the release goes live the bundle price will go up.

This release is all about Halloween! Today, I created another bag topper using the XL Topper Die with the new Corny Halloween Stamps with Outline Die and Enchanted Night Sky Stencil. The 5x5 clear bags are also from Jaded Blossom. I found the Zombie Teeth Candy Corn on Amazon. They didn't exactly match my Frankenstein theme, so I dipped the white tips into chocolate and used a bamboo skewer to add chocolate eyes.

If you add the center cut-out back into the XL Topper Die then you have a lot more surface area to work with when creating a scene. I used the Enchanted Sky Stencil (FREEBIE) to create the bats and moon. For the moon, I used white texture paste so it would completely cover the red cardstock. Once dry, I inked on the black bats.
